Cheese fondue

The food was very good! Many options of food to choose from! Both fondues were very good! I would recommend going once a month because the food is heavy, but overall, it's good!

We come for Girls Night or double dates. The service is always Top Notch and the manager is great.

I just wanted the fondue experience. I sorta got it here but it really wasn't a good time. The restrictions made it Not so fun. Came with a group of four and was told that we needed to agree on 1 cheese (appetizer) dipping sauce for the table to share. Wish they had something like a double pot in case everyone didn't want the same thing. But if 2 of us sat at an adjacent table, then each pair could get their own different sauce and still pay the same price? Doesn't really make sense. The dipping plate included apples, bread, and raw veggies. It was bland and tasteless. Complained, and was brought out a charcuterie board with olives, salami, and various cold cuts. Finally some flavor! Those things should have been mixed in with the tasteless board from the start. Also sent back the first cheese sauce. It was disgusting. Again wish they had some type of double pot or small pots so we could have tried two different cheeses from the start. Also, I guess making/mixing the cheese sauce in front of us was supposed to be part of the experience, similar to hibachi, but it didn't hit. I guess some ppl would enjoy that, but I found it unnecessary. The main course was the most disappointing. I thought "Entree Fondue" meant that we would get cooked food and dip it like traditional fondue. Not the case. Again "the table" has to pick 1 cooking style. We chose the cast iron grill. Had no idea the we were going to have to cook our own food. 1 small grill pan for four ppl to cook our shrimp, steak, chicken and fish. It was so frustrating for everyone that I just took over and cooked everybody's food. Not fun. We all got individual plates with our own seafood/meats but they only gave us 1 veggie plate for the table to split so I had 1 asparagus spear, 1 slice of zucchini, and 1 mushroom. There should have been 2. Dessert brought us back to the traditional fondue experience. Fruit, cake, and other snacks like Rice Krispy treats were included and delicious, but we were also kinda over it by this point. Our server was nice but aggravating. I don't think they are allowed to give recommendations or opinions. She really was no help. We were hungry and wanted food but I wish she had told us the main course wasn't actually fondue. If I wanted to cook I would have stayed home. I looked forward to coming here for years and was disappointed. I found out later that a lot of people come in and order the starter(cheese) and dessert courses only so If I ever returned that's what I would do for experience and then go eat somewhere else. I'm giving 3 stars because there is potential once you know, but my first time was only worth 2 stars max.

I celebrated my anniversary in this place and without a doubt the food is exquisite, the service is good, everything is brought on time and without haste, the manager passes by and asks if everything is okay and if we need something, we had a table in a corner which allowed us to have privacy to talk and enjoy dinner. Recommended for a couple's dinner or to conquer someone since you can interact with the other person who accompanies you.

Haven't been to the Melting Pot for many years and came here to try it. Plenty of street parking around the area, free on Sundays. Did not have to make a reservation, the restaurant is pretty big and we were seated right away. We were seated in a private corner, and looks like most tables are isolated in private rooms, which we liked. Our waitress was really nice, but the service was quite slow. Not sure if it's just how it's supposed to be, but our entire meal took about 2 hours, which for a regular restaurant I thought seemed like a long time. The food was not bad honestly it was better than what I had in mind. Our first course was the special grand reserve cheese fondue, which was a combo of honey bacon, sherry, and mix of cheese; tasted really good. We also enjoyed the different kind of steaks and such for our entree, and we got the raspberry dark chocolate fondue for dessert and it was also quite delicious. The price at the end was a lot more than what I had expected. I guess fondue is one of those special meals that you don't eat everyday, but although we everything tasted decent, I did not think the quality of the food was worth what we paid. That being said, we did enjoy our meal and glad there is one in the area!

My three friends and I came to the Melting Pot last night for a 9:30p reservation. We arrived so late we almost missed it! I was worried we'd need to postpone, but Priscilla, Sam, Sharneila and Amaya were terrific and took care of us, even though we kept them open an extra two hours by ourselves! We chose Vegan Cheese and Spinach Artichoke for the Cheese Fondue; Caesar salads; Steak Lovers, Land & Sea and the Garden Pot for the Entrée Fondue (Cast Iron Grill and Coq Au Vin styles), and S'mores for the Chocolate course. Everything was delectable, and the staff navigated the several allergies at the table deftly. The restaurant is immaculate; smells lovely; and everyone from the maître d', to the chef, to our main server Priscilla, to the rest of the staff were fabulous. They got our vibe, and I'm pretty pleased that they did. I will definitely come back!

Tried this place for my daughter15th bday with her frien and theyhad a blast. Server was very polite and patient w a group of teenagers. She explained how everything worked. She was attentive and made sure the kids were ok and had everything they needed. They ordered their own proteins and chose the cooking sauce and they cook it. The cooking process is easy but could take a while specially w a big group. For sides you mushroom, broccoli, and potatoes with your protein order. Overall, it was a nice experience and great place for fun celebration

It's a cool experience, I'm not gonna lie. $109 for a 4 course meal for 2 people (not including drinks). You start off with the cheese fondue, which comes with various breads and 1-2 vegetables. The next is the salad. I got the Caesar, which was delicious. After that, is your entrée, which is basically your meats. The most popular way to cook your meat is on a skillet, so that's exactly what we did, however, it can get annoying waiting for the food to cook. Lastly is the chocolate fondue, which comes with brownies, marshmallows, rice crispies, and pound cake, and it was so yummy. All in all, definitely come here with your partner because it's a very intimate and fun way to have a date night. However, I definitely don't think it is worth the $109 price tag. It is definitely worth more then getting the à la carte menu and the experience off sets the price. I had a fun time and our waiter, Justin, was so friendly and attentive.

Desert (Our server went out of her way to make this adorable plate for us)

The happy hour cocktail menu was limited, however we thought we would try something new and ordered one of the featured drinks- but they were out of the ingredients so only one of us was able to enjoy a featured cocktail and I ordered an espresso martini and my daughter ordered a Cosmo. The drinks were delicious, as was the food. We ordered several dishes and enjoyed all of them. The service was terrific as well and for that reason I would certainly recommend stopping in. However, I do feel that $24 for an espresso martini was a bit steep and $8 for 3 wings is NOT normal happy hour pricing. The Philly eggroll was tasty - but it was 1 egg roll for $9. We do enjoy frequenting establishments all over NYC and Westchester and we certainly don't mind paying but I suppose I just would NOT market it as a happy hour. Other than that thought- we enjoyed the ambiance and the staff was great.

After spending an evening with James at O.M.C. he recommended The Blind Pig for dinner, and even called in a reservation for us! This place was loud and lively, crowded and full of raucous laughter with fun music playing in the background, a mid to late 20's crowd packed the bar and every table was full too, but our host and server Peter seemed to be everywhere at once! We never had an empty water glass, dirty plates were whisked away immediately, craft cocktails and food brought out on a perfectly timed schedule. The drinks were great, the food was killer, and I kinda wish we were in town longer to try more of it!

The dim lighting set the tone and even the bathroom had a clean, stylish look patterned tile floors a small single sink and everything spotless. Service was good. Our waiter communicated clearly checked in at the right moments and kept everything moving smoothly. The drinks came out quickly and the whole experience felt organized and attentive. When the food arrived it came out hot, timely and beautifully put together. The bowl I ordered wasn't your typical American‑Mexican style it had real depth. The chicken was flavorful, the pico de gallo tasted fresh, and the way everything mixed together created a balanced delicious bite every time. It was one of those dishes where you pause for a second because the flavors hit better than expected. I also had the passion fruit mocktail which was a standout. It had a subtle hint of cinnamon that made the drink feel layered and thoughtfully crafted. Refreshing well balanced and definitely something I'd order again. Overall, this place gave me a great first impression trendy atmosphere, clean space, great service, and food that actually surprises you in the best way. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a spot that feels both stylish and genuine

Packed to the gills with some of the most beautiful people living in and around White Plains, it is a treat to come here when everything else has already closed and the party. must. go. on! :-) However, I do have one bone to pick. The bouncer stationed at the front is extremely and suddenly rude. I was shocked last night by this experience. At first, I was let in just fine, told that I just needed to "sheath" my bluetooth speaker that I usually use to provide my own musical ambiance when traveling up and down Mamaroneck Avenue. I walked around inside unscathed, was even so lucky as to catch the eye of a few beautiful ladies- lucky me. I stepped outside to catch a breath - so packed inside - and saw one of those same ladies inside through the glass window. We made momentary eye contact, and I was going to re-enter to chat with her, when the bouncer appeared out of nowhere and told me, rudely, to leave at once. That he had had "too many complaints about me". I truly had done nothing to receive this treatment. I hadn't had a drink all night, I was dressed exquisitely, and I'm an above average dancer. And yet, when I told him I had done nothing, his response was "LEAVE. NOW." I mean, WTF? Other than that, it is great there. I might go back one day if that bouncer receives an attitude adjustment. But until then, I'll steer clear and spend my time at Cantina, whose doorman is MUCH nicer to the clientele and is much less likely to be on some substance when allowing people in the door.
