After checking it out, they told me they believed it simply needed an oil change. They didn't charge me anything for the diagnostic, and they were right--once I got the oil changed, the check engine light never came back. The second time, I brought my car in for a different issue. They were thorough, completed the work in a timely manner, and charged a fair price. About a month later, I started experiencing similar symptoms again, so I brought it back. They dug a little deeper and discovered a nest inside the system that was blocking the drain. They spent over an hour fixing the problem, getting completely soaked in the process. When it was time to pay, they told me there was no charge because they considered it related to the previous repair. I can't say enough good things about this company. It's rare to find a business that combines excellent workmanship with this level of honesty and customer service. They've earned my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

No coolant/water in the radiator. After letting the car cool a bit, I limped it half a mile to the Belair exit where thankfully, I found DJ's. I left the car at their convenient drop off station with a key, a note, and a prayer that they could look at it in the am. Rick the Service Manager called me in the am to let me know they would look at it and let me know what they found. Long story short, Skip, my mechanic ran thorough diagnostics and while there was a myriad of things that COULD have been the issue, thankfully, it was just the thermostat. Skip replaced the thermostat, tested it, then refilled and bled the anti-freeze before testing it AGAIN before sending me on my way to SC same day. Service was the absolute best I have ever experienced at an auto repair shop and their price was more than fair! Rick even called me the next morning to be sure I made it back to SC alright! After waiting all day without any feedback, we finally called to inquire about our older vehicle, a 2008 Mercury Sable, did not due to an issue with a side light. The young lady proceeded to tell us it didn't pass inspection b/c it needed tires, and there was an issue w/a side light, but they were looking for the part. So not thinking it was a major problem, we had requested an oil change and said go ahead with the new tires & fix the side light. The next day rolls around and we're told they can't find the part. The car is old, so we're thinking oh my! We just spent close to $700 dollars for a car we'll have to scrap?! Why would they do the other work if they didn't have a supplier for the side light? Not feeling very confident in their response or expertise, we contacted our mechanic in NJ. Told him the issue, and in less than 3 min (no exaggeration) he knew exactly what we needed and where to get it. When we told him the shop here in MD couldn't find the part he laughed. He told us I guess they've never heard of Amazon. We were going to NJ two days later & swung by to see our mechanic. He pulled up the part on Amazon. Told my husband exactly what to order and said if they couldn't figure it out after that to bring it back to him to fix. The part was $8 bucks! Just shy of $800 dollars later & our $8 dollar part procured via Amazon, the car was back on the road. He had the tire, which had a cut in it, replaced with my spare. I had to get another tire to replace and I asked him if I should by 2 tires but he told me no, just the one. After the funeral, I dropped the car back off and in a few hours the new tire was placed on the car and the spare back. I came across Goodyear, which was barely 0.5 miles away from AAA. I was greeted and welcomed by Felicia Finch, and I quickly got a new tire. I got rewarded by going to Goodyear because I got a free rubber valve stem. (This was due to me damaging its sensor.) I don't think I would have gotten a free tire part elseware. I recommend this store to anyone that wants a good tire service!
