I find exceptionally great service consistently at Tire Village. It seems hard to find a good place to do work for my vehicles but Tire Village is a diamond in the rough. I have used Tire Village on several occasions. They do good work but the younger guy at the front desk always has a piss poor attitude. He's rude, has zero ability to talk with customers and comes across like he's doing you a favor. I dropped off a tire to have the leak repaired. The $28 charge I thought was more than fair for patching the tire, but the thing to remember is, for those who dont know, the tire/wheel should be balanced, mine wasn't. It would cost more to do this, but that's ok, it needs to be done. read more

You'd have to be a fool to work with anyone else for your tires. Recently, (Tuesday July 6th, 2021) noticed a large bulge in the sidewall of my older parent's tire. Parent; "I'll call the place I bought them, NTB franchise and see if it's under warranty (less than 10kMiles on the tires). "No". Ok, how much she asks. "Well because it's AWD you will need to replace all (4). $250+ each, $1000+ total." I call my family and extended family's go-to place for generations, Tire Village on Main Street in Bel Air, MD. "How many miles are on the bad tire ?" Tell them 10K. Tire Village; "You will be completely fine replacing the one tire." $205.00. So $205 versus $1,000+. Oh, and NTB said it would be 6 days before they could get the tires and do this. Tire Village had the exact same tire and had it on the car waiting for us, less than 24 hours after I called them! Last time the same parent had tire work done on her car against my advice at Merchant's (another chain) employees stole items from her car. Shop local and the people who actually care about their customers, and starve the corporate chains. I'd post a big middle finger to NTB but I already kept you from scamming one unsuspecting customer! Eat that $1,000.00 you won't be scamming from my family. read more

I found the personnel at Tire Village in Belair MD to be very honest. Another tire shop had told me that I needed new wheels and 2 new tires, Took my vehicle to Tire Village and they popped the wheels to inspect. The wheels and tires were good. One tire had busted the sealing bead on the rim and the other tire had a nail in it. Cost $71.00 compared to $1,000.00 plus for new 2 new wheels and 2 new tires. They could have taken advantage of me but did not. read more

Hands down the best service I've ever received with a mechanic. I went here for the first time today, came in with a flat. They noticed me as I pulled in and greeted me as I came in the door asking if I had a flat (saw the donut on my car). They were so friendly, made me feel welcome and at home which is rare in an auto shop. They gave me a great deal and had me out and on the road in half an hour. I had a leaking remote tire pressure stem. The mechanic said the stem was corroded and would break if he took it out of the wheel. He said I would need an entire new stem to the tune of $80. I agreed to the installation. About 10 minutes later the mechanic came into the waiting room and said he did get the stem off without breaking it and would replace the rubber washer. Tire Village had an easy $80 in their pocket. I am completely impressed that they would come back and tell me they can do it for less ($15 for labor). There are FEW places where such honesty is common. Tire village will be my new 'go to place' for tires and tire issues. read more

Until today, I had been a loyal customer for the last 43 years. By loyal, I mean that I had bought ALL of my tires there for the last 43 years. 43 YEARS! This business is now a grossly unfair and poorly run business, with unfriendly customer service, no value for what is fair and equitable, has a truly filthy facility, and the staff is very incompetent as well. I knew the original owner well and he would have never stood for any of this. Sadly, I will never return and I recommend all other do the same. Today I take my vehicle in for tire balance and rotation and asked for 42 psi in each tire. For $50, they balanced the tires and set them all to 42 psi except for one tire. I didn't notice until I drove the 15 miles home, that the pressure was incorrect, and began to set the pressure on the one tire that wasn't 42 psi. Turns out that they didn't reset the tire pressure system on my truck to match the "new" tire locations. I drove the 15 miles back to the shop and asked that they reset the system properly. I was told that the entire staff was at lunch, at the same time, and I would have to wait an hour or so. While waiting, the man at the counter went out to attempt to reset the system himself, rather than have me keep waiting. He came back and told me that one of the tire monitors was bad and that must be why they all were never reset. I left, went 15 miles back to my neighborhood and to another tire shop. They reset the system, with no problems, and charged me $25 to perform the reset. I called Tire Village back and the same man told me to come back for reimbursement. I drove another 15 miles back for the refund, and while there, asked to be refunded the original $50 since I was now "out" 2.5 hours and 60 miles of travel. The man said "no" and that he would only refund the additional $25 I had paid the other shop to properly complete the job. read more

I took my car to Tire Village on June 22nd because I needed 4 new tires and I like to support the "mom and pop" shops of the world. The staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, The price was fair. When I got the car back on June 23rd, there was a very noisy hum in the right front tire. I took the car back the next week and they told me that my right front bearing is bad. The thing is...it wasn't bad when I dropped it off! All I needed were tires! I told the mechanic who looked at my car that it was fine when I dropped it off and that bearings should last the life of the car. He replied with "Yeah, you're looking at about a $400.00 repair". No offer was made to repair the bearing that was damaged while my car was getting new tires. I took my car and went home. I will never purchase anything from Tire Village again. read more

Blew out the side of my tire & a friend referred me to Tire Village. It was a very busy Monday morning when I brought my SUV in on the donut spare. The waiting room was full; they took my information within minutes. They happened to have a used tire, same exact brand & same approximate use to replace my blown tire. This alone saved me over $150. Went there with a suspected slow puncture. They took the car in within 5 minutes of arriving (no appointment). They found a nail but said I needed a new tire. However they took the time to tell me the tire should be under warranty. They gave me a copy of the warranty to take with me to the dealer in case I needed it. They put on my spare for me and loaded the bad tire in my trunk. They didn't charge me a thing and I was out of there in 30 minutes. Genuine guys not trying to rip me off. Pretty good! I've been using this place for years to get tires mounted and dismounted. Unlike other places, so far nobody has messed up my wheels or tires. They also have a Hunter GSP9700 which is an advanced balancing machine. Prices are reasonable, service better than most chain outlets. Good ma & pa place. read more

Took my truck there for 6 tires and an alignment. While they have a top notch balance machine,it must not be calibrated. Tires did not balance well, and the alignment machine for a truck this big was an old model. Ended up getting rebalanced and aligned at mr tire. Noticeable difference. read more
