We found this little gem while searching online for breakfast places in Newburgh. And when we saw the revies, we decided to try it. And we are so glad we did! The food was truly amazing. The place is so cool inside. You seat yourself, and order at the counter, and they serve you. We had such a hard time deciding on what to eat, everything looked so good. I had the bacon & cheese omelet with a biscuit. My husband had the bacon egg and cheese on Foccacia. My omelet was fluffy and stuffed, and the biscuit was soft and dripping with honey butter. And the sandwich was beyond delicious. In addition, we ordered a side of pancakes to share, and fought over them, they were that good! But the star of the show was their coffee...what and how do they make such a good cup of coffee??? It was so good, that we ordered more coffee to go! The best small cafe delicious food. A gem. Really friendly staff. Service was a little slow. But everything else was stellar.

I found them on Yelp when searching for some places to eat. After reading the great reviews and seeing all of the photos i was excited to stop by. I managed to visit twice within a couple of days. The first day I just grabbed some tea for myself and some colleagues, as well as a pistachio muffin which was recommended by the barista. (Great recommendation by her, I really enjoyed everything.) The tea was good, customer service was excellent, and the cafe was full of great vibrations. The second morning I stopped by and they had quite a bit more customers sitting inside having breakfast. I ordered a breakfast croissant with eggs, turkey sausage, and Avocado with a green tea. I really wished I had stopped by more often in the morning for breakfast bc it was excellent to say the least. This place has really cool decor and the avocado toast is especially delicious. The lady at the counter was funny and kind. I personally still didn't have the best experience because several things I attempted to order were out of stock. It seemed as though most the items on the menu were not available. As this place has overwhelmingly positive reviews I will chalk it up to a fluke and try to come back another time when they hopefully have a well stocked kitchen. read more

I can't come back here again. Been here at least 3 times. Never felt welcomed. First time I went I asked "what flavors do you guys have for the coffee" Guy stares at me for about 7 seconds and rudely said "we have all of em". I was hoping for raspberry to be one. Which it was but took forever to make. I've ordered bacon egg and cheese sandwiches there also ,it takes forever for them to make them. They take pride in being a local business but this local right here doesn't feel like being a part of there home. I'm always responded to like I'm a bother for drinks that taste just as good at other coffee shops and whose sandwiches take 15 mins to make for it to taste bland. This is a cozy little coffeehouse with a southern flair. They have your traditional egg breakfast, bagels and sweets or a nice bowl of grits. On snow days my besties and I start here for coffee. One of the real gems of Newburgh! The best coffee I've had anywhere, friendly and personable service and a warm welcoming and fun atmosphere! I honestly can't think of a negative thing to say. I almost always get the Blacc Vanilla Latte (hot or iced depending on the season) but have also gotten the cappuccino. Both are delicious and better than any other coffee house I've tried. Nice to have such an amazing place for a half way meeting point to Albany. The owner and staff are really awesome. I haven't been up there since April and I hope he's still around.
