Funny enough...all 3 of us decided to try the Chicken Schnitzel Caesar.... AND WOW!! one of my top caesar salads I have ever had!! The schnitzel was done perfectly and when paired with the squeezed the lemon, capers, & the actual salad - the perfect bite!!!! The capers really took the dish to the next level in my opinion...its seriously was so good!!! We loved the atmosphere so much we actually stayed longer than expected and decided to get the skillet cookie for dessert which was a brown butter chocolate chip cookie with pretzels and potato chips with salted caramel gelato and caramel drizzle on top!!! - the pretzels kinda through us off a little bit being baked IN the dish, but it was still a pretty decent cookie skillet!!! The portions were generous, but the pancakes were so tough I could barely cut through them. The two chicken breasts were extremely dark--almost burnt black--and so overcooked they were incredibly crisp and dry. Our waitress was very apologetic and sweet, and she did her best to make things right, even offering us 25% off our next visit. Unfortunately, there won't be a next visit. When a restaurant isn't busy on a Thursday afternoon, there's really no excuse for food taking so long that it ends up burnt and dried out. The waitress was wonderful, but ultimately, the kitchen is responsible for making sure decent, properly prepared food makes it to the table. The manager didn't even come over to our table. We did leave a generous tip.
