They have multiple flavors of cakes, cupcakes and cookies. We decided on a classic vanilla "leftover" cake that was one day past Halloween. The sprinkles didn't scream Halloween, so it was perfect for my grandmas 90th birthday because she LOVES sprinkles! It was 50% off and man this cake tasted like a $100 cake! You can tell this was made with Fresh and real ingredients! The icing was my FAVORITE! It had a smooth bite to it! And the cake, Y'all it was sooo moist! It was a large round 2 layer cake. We had tons of leftovers for 6 people. Served with birthday cake ice cream and my grandmother LOVED it! I can't wait to go back and try their Carmel and strawberry flavors! 10/10! Supper local!

This small shop is located in a large shopping center next to a grocery store I was unfamiliar with (Rouse's, if I remember correctly). Thankfully, that makes parking pretty easy. The inside is simple but cute, and very clean. The one girl working that day sort of looked at me like I'd grown three heads when I came in and didn't offer any assistance, but warmed up when I chatted her up while checking out. She was quite nice once we spoke to each other but the lack of hello or can I help you after looking right at me in an otherwise-empty shop was kinda weird. I selected two cake slices: a caramel cake slice and an oreo chocolate cake slice. I was somewhat tempted by the German chocolate cake but couldn't discern any coconut or pecan pieces in the frosting. Maybe it was a more literal /german/ chocolate cake, rather than the chocolate cake with pecan and coconut frosting named after Sam German? I usually assume the latter in average US bakeries but who can say. The lady at the register informed me the cake slices were BOGO that day, so the price was right! Though I can't help but wonder if the fact they were BOGO reflected some kind of decline in quality or an older cake slice, because sadly I didn't really enjoy either cake. I will admit I delayed a day or two between buying my slices and sharing them with my husband, so perhaps that contributed to the deterioration of it. At any rate, the Oreo chocolate cake was very dry. The icing had kind of separated from the cake and had crystallized into a crunchy, saccharine strip. My husband wouldn't even finish his half of the piece. The caramel cake was better, a tiny bit more moist with slightly less "crackly" icing. Still not my favorite -- a little on the dense side, and still fairly dry. Again, perhaps this experience was partially on me for delaying a day or so in eating my treats, but I dunno. Perhaps cupcakes are the way to go instead? I'm not sure. I'm sad I didn't have a super positive experience, but I like the concept of this business and I wish them success!

It's in a small shopping center that has lots of dining/dessert options. I only managed to make it about 45 minutes before close, so parking was easy and it wasn't busy. It smelled nice inside and looked clean. They offer a lot of different gelato desserts; the main draw I think is the twister cone, which is a baked cone that seems to be a donut-like pastry. This looked really good, but I was still too full from dinner to want anything quite that large. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. Two employees were there; one was a friendly young man who was clearly new as the other employee was teaching him how to ring up orders; the other was a surly older woman who seemed annoyed that I'd stopped in. I'm somewhat sympathetic since I did come in a little close to COB, but I don't think ~45 minutes is too unreasonable. I asked if they could make one of their signature cones in a cup instead and they agreed. I got the tiramisu variety, which is tiramisu and coffee gelato with coffee syrup and a ladyfinger. It was made in a reasonable time and I was rung up and headed out to my car to bring it back to eat at my hotel. The price was a little high but the portion was absolutely massive. You could easily split this treat. I certainly was unable to finish it. Overall, I thought it was only okay. The texture of the gelato was lovely, but the flavors were just kind of muted. I thought it should've been a bit sweeter, but not because the coffee was too strong; indeed, the coffee flavor was also just sort of light and unobtrusive. The syrup had an artificial taste that I wasn't crazy about and I was relieved when I'd eaten down past it to just spoonfuls of gelato. Lastly, the ladyfinger was sadly very stale, and even an attempt at ice cream rehydration didn't help it much. If I were to return, I'd definitely try one of the twister cones and would probably opt for a different flavor. Curiosity sated, for now!

They are only open for dinner which starts at 3pm and then depending on the day they close at 8pm or 9pm. When I arrived right at 3pm they already were jam packed but I fortunately was able to grab a table two days in a row after failing to get a table multiple times when I showed up around 5pm and 6pm. The owners are originally from New Orleans so that immediately let me know I was going to be in for some good food. I sampled soup, pasta, pizza, a sandwich and their dessert. I was happy with all of the food and only have a minor issue with the pizza as it is more of a thick crust and I prefer thinner crust pizza. The service was attentive and took good care of me. They also offer specials which they will post on Facebook sometimes. Overall I like this place but having to arrive so early to get a table throws my dining schedule off.

We had the Magnolia Springs Pizza and veal piccata. Both were excellent. The piccata was perfectly balanced. It's great to see a little hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant here in Foley. Even better on Saturday nights wine is half price. Can't wait to try the house made tiramisu. The owners Chef Rich, and Pam are doing it right. Pam visited and spoke with every table in the place.
