I recently tried Green Front Restaurant for the first time, and it was an absolute rollercoaster of…read morean experience. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing, but the front-of-house needs some serious help. We began with the fried pickle chips, which were amazing--served piping hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The kitchen is remarkably quick, too; almost immediately after our appetizers arrived, the staff was already at our table taking main course orders. For my entree, I ordered the chicken tenders and fries basket. The tenders were perfectly golden and incredibly crispy, served with a generous mountain of fresh crinkle-cut fries. I'd rate the tenders a solid 3.5/5--my only minor critique is that they could be a bit more generous with the dipping sauce for a portion that size. My dad also ordered a beer, which was poured beautifully with a nice head. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience completely dragged the meal down with some glaring cleanliness and professionalism issues. I found a long hair wrapped right around the lemon wedge in my iced tea. To make matters worse, I watched the staff member pouring drinks rub her mouth right at the drink station before handling other beverages. Meanwhile, the lady behind the counter was completely disengaged, literally just scrolling on her phone instead of focusing on the dining room. The overall neglect was obvious if you looked around. Hanging directly above our dining table was a vintage wall thermometer covered in a heavy, flaking buildup of rust and grime--definitely not what you want hanging over your food. Even the bathroom was neglected, with trash and used paper towels left on the floor. If you are strictly judging by the kitchen's output, the food tastes fantastic and comes out incredibly fast. However, management desperately needs to invest in a deep clean and have a serious huddle with the staff regarding basic front-of-house hygiene.

There was even plenty of space in their back room for dancing. Angelinas exceeded our expectations in every way and we are so grateful to have had our celebration at such a charming, unique and welcoming venue. THANK YOU!!!

I would've had ten more... The service was fast and friendly. Our server offered up various suggestions of house favorites. The ambiance was sleek with leather or leather-like chairs, wood tables and clean lines. The plates matched the decor as well. I'd consider coming back and trying some more from their summer menu. I look forward to trying from the fall and winter menus as well. I'll definitely be trying a dessert next time. Their s'mores one and funfetti cake both sounded delicious. I was too full from the appetizers and dinner to attempt a third course.

The service was inattentive and food was mediocre. Everything seemed previously frozen. When the Buffalo Bills came on at 8pm, all the tables tried to get closer to their small outdoor bar with a few extra high tops. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, with some soft music playing, and sports on the TV. Our server was over within minutes to take our drink orders. We ordered the mozzarella half moons and an order of chicken wings as appetizers. The mozzarella half moons were not too great. They did not have much flavor and they tasted kind of old. But, the chicken wings were the star of the show. We got the Cajun gold sauce and wow... it was so good. There wasn't much of a Cajun flavor to it, but it had this tangy sweet flavor to it that made your mouth salivate. And the chicken wings themselves were fried to the perfect crisp. I ordered the turtle plate with cheeseburgers, french fries, and mac salad. The cheeseburgers and French fries were cooked well. The mac salad was lacking flavor and was just kind of watery. The meat hot sauce atop the plate had too much of a cinnamon flavor for me, that kind of ruined the whole plate for me. My dad order their special fried oyster po boy, which he said wasn't too great. He said the fried oyster were kind of cold, and they were put on a plain roll. My mom got a burger, which she said was a fine burger. I definitely will be back in the future at least for those wings, and to probably try some of their other food.

Nice tall fence to hide view of neighboring houses. Table and chairs were not very comfortable. A little more attention to landscaping and maybe some market lights would really improve the ambiance. Fun specialty drink menu. We had the blue jay and the pecking order. They were both good and well balanced. Ordered the filet tips with mushrooms and spinach as well as the chicken, sausage and cherry peppers. Broth in the chicken dish was too good to leave in the bowl so had to order a side of focaccia to soak it up. It would have been nice to include the bread with the dish. Not a huge portion, but enough and nothing left on the plate. Bowls looked big but not very deep so not as much as it seems in photos. Filet tips were also quite good with mushrooms and spinach Alfredo. Some of that went home in a box. Ended up spending $100 for 2 drinks and 2 dinners - no appetizers, salads or desserts. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will go back.

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful -- very thoughtfully decorated with such an inviting atmosphere. The view of the lake is stunning, and I loved that you can see the water (and sunset!) from pretty much every table. It really makes the whole dining experience feel special. Our server, Kyra V., was amazing! She was so friendly, personable, and honestly just adorable. She made us laugh and gave honest feedback when we asked about the menu, which we really appreciated. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does, and it made our night even better. The food was phenomenal. We started with the Caesar Tower, which easily fed four adults as an appetizer -- and it was honestly one of the best we've had. Highly recommend! Our entrees did not disappoint either... everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The specialty drinks were crafted perfectly and were just as impressive as the food. Their smoked mac and cheese will blow your mind and you can split it with someone, it's so much food. I do have to comment that I, along with my family, does not enjoy country music at all, so listening to that isn't my favorite. More disappointing, my Mother asked if they might try some other music for those who have been frequenting that location since the 50s (maybe some 50's, 60's, 70's music) and was told "that's what the staff likes, country". Where I come from, it's not about the staff, it's about the customers. Regardless, I still go because the food is just that good.
