So, I traveled 1 1/2 hrs to arrive here. Service was great, everything explained to a tee! Although I was after bbq, it was more than I could enjoy in house. So I had this burger, and Mac and cheese with those Texas Twinkies for an app. Both very good, although my Twinkies had zero heat from the jalapeños. Still worth the go! Now, I took bbq home, ribs and brisket, and two types of sauce. Not a huge fan of dry rub ribs, but I have to say, even reheated two days later, still awesome with some sauce, or without. Now 4 days later I got to the brisket. Still good! I'm sure I could have added some yum if I had the bbq fresh. Not a complaint to be had. Nice setting, clean, and I'll be back!

Hostess advised there was a half hour wait, we said no problem. 5 minutes later, called me to say there was room! We sat at a table right in the middle. We could see how busy they were on a Friday night! Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and hubby got the hot dog with brisket chili sauce. It took a while, but I could see them working hard. The hostess not only greeted people, but also brought food to the table. The waitress was also running around making sure everyone had their drinks and took their orders. At one point, lost my napkin and she quickly picked it up and brought me a whole bunch more. When the food came out, you knew it was special. My pulled pork was melt-in-your mouth Good! The coleslaw tasted homemade and the bun was delicious too. My husband's hot dog was very good and tasty, he said. He was very happy. We made room for dessert. Shared a key lime pie which also was delicious. Overall, this place was a winner. Great staff and great food. Can't get better than that.

We were in town for a ski trip and found this place on Google. Tried walking in around 8 PM but there were no seats. Funny enough, there was an empty table, but they didn't have enough chairs for the four of us--they only keep exactly the number of chairs for each table, not a single extra one, so they couldn't seat us. The restaurant is pretty new with a clean, modern design. Compared to most of the older, more worn-out spots in the area, this place feels fresh and brand new. When we finally got seated, they were out of their famous brisket--super disappointing since that's what we came for. We all ended up getting pulled pork instead, which turned out to be really good. Each table gets a basket of BBQ sauces, and they were all solid. My favorites were the house sauce and the North Carolina one--both went perfectly with the pork. For appetizers, we got the shrimp cocktail. It was grilled, but served cold--tasted like it had been frozen before. Oddly enough, the smoky charcoal flavor with that cold texture worked surprisingly well. We also tried the French onion soup. It was flavorful but way too salty for my taste. Overall, a good spot in the area for a solid meal.

This place definitely hit the spot. My husband and I had an early dinner. Cozy and clean place. Andrew was our server and was really friendly. Drinks were good, I had a moscow mule and my husband had a stella. For appetizer, we ordered the street corn dip. Wow this was very tasty, I couldn't stop eating it. We shared the brisket tray and added pulled pork, it's served with cornbread, pickles, coleslaw & a choice of hand cut fries or smoked gouda mac & cheese. Food was so delicious and cooked to perfection. The hand cut fries were nice and crispy. There were also 8 different sauces, our favorite was the Alabama white sauce and my husband also enjoyed the house bbq sauce. The s'mores were out of this world. Definitely make room for dessert. We look forward to coming back to try everything else. This place will definitely be on my list every time I visit Vermont.

Decent and abundant bbq in the mt snow area. They easily accommodated our table of 6 and we all had a blast trying the different sauces. Could see this being a good spot for takeout given how small the interior is, especially if you're on a group trip like we were

Best BBQ we've ever had! Absolutely incredible spot. Service was too notch and food was out of this world.

Hubby and I stopped by one day after snowboarding at Mt Snow. Not a big place but they served up some delicious barbecue! We order the Brisket Chili, Smoked Wings, and Brisket & Ribs Platter. Tender and flavorful meat, everything was exceed our expectation! It's definitely a joint we would revisit on our next ski trip up here.

Good pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Like their pickles too! I've stopped there again for lunch.

It is my favorite variant of ice cream: super rich, it has a soft and delicate mouth-feel, and it is extremely creamy (hence the name). The Creemee stand (owned by the Boyd family) is my favorite place serving Creemee in the area. They always have vanilla and chocolate (which you can get as a swirl), and Vermont Maple. All three are outstanding, but I like Maple the best. There's just a hint of maple, which adds a hint of a maple/caramel that accentuates the creaminess of the vanilla. Sometimes they also have Black Raspberry, which is also very good. They also serve hard scoop ice cream as well and I'll bet it's really good. I just will never find out because if I'm at the Creemee Stand, you can bet I'll be getting some Creemee.

So we did what we were told and went to the Cremee Stand up the road to where we were staying in downtown Wilmington. It's about three miles out so you can't walk it from downtown at night. The road is pretty dark. Once we got there, there was splattering of people who came just for the cremees. We ordered the maple cremee because -- Vermont. I will have to agree with another poster who said there was very little maple flavor. I really felt like I was eating a vanilla soft serve. I mean, I do like a vanilla soft serve but not the thicker consistency I was expecting and definitely didn't taste any maple. It was still a nice after dinner break. Note that they only take CASH.

Now that they combined with the coffee place and moved into the former pizza store in the east end of town, they have really come into their own. Pastries are terrific. You literally can't go wrong with anything you pick out here, but these are some of my favorites: - Black forest crinkle cookie - a soft but fudgy cookie filled with kirsch soaked cherries and white chocolate pieces. - Chocolate orange hazelnut cake - I love anything chocolate orange, and this little cake packs a flavorful punch! - Almond Pillows - SO GOOD, new favorite! The name is a perfect descriptor, and the icing complements the almondy flavor so well. - Savory scones - take your pick, I've had most of them and they are all good. Crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Last visit I loved the swiss & scallion and the ham cheddar herb. - Pistachio citrus rosewater cookie "Flower of Palestine" - new to me my last visit, but all the above flavors were subtle and very complementary of one another. If you're lucky enough to be there when the slabs of focaccia pizza are out, definitely snag yourself a piece. They have to serve the squares in order, as we learned, so you can't pick out your preferred square (crustless center vs. corner piece vs. one edge crust, similar to people's brownie preferences). The flavors rotate and there's usually a vegetarian and a meat option. The lady who's always running the counter is so sweet and friendly! There are a couple of tables and chairs if you want to indulge immediately, but I'd say it's mostly a grab and go kind of spot. I hear they are switching locations to elsewhere in Wilmington soon, so look out for that!

I specifically requested that the cake say "26 Years Later." The bakery assured me they could complete the cake by the date I needed it. Unfortunately, the cake I received looked significantly different from the inspiration photo I provided. The lettering was not what I requested, the colors were different, and the overall decorating quality did not meet my expectations for a custom cake. The frosting was uneven and had visible marks throughout the cake. To the bakery's credit, they did honor the original $60 price I was quoted after there was some confusion at pickup. However, I was disappointed with the final product and felt it did not reflect the design I ordered. I've included photos of both the inspiration cake and the cake I received so others can make their own comparison. Based on my experience, I would not order a custom decorated cake from this bakery again.

Absolutely scrumptious with just Vermont maple syrup, although sides such as fried eggs, sliced smoked ham, crispy bacon, home fries and sausage patty make great accompaniments. Other perennial favorites include the Apple Cinnamon Waffles, Chocolate Chip Banana Waffles and the Egg Muffin Sandwich. We looked around at the fresh and frozen pies and they looked appealing. As others have mentioned, there are no prices so that was a little disconcerting. A gentleman came and helped us and as noted in prior reviews, he was somewhat gruff but I didn't take it as grumpy or mean. My take, unsubstantiated by any scientific evidence, is that not every store owner is pre-disposed to having a neurotypical customer-centric focus. That being said, we were offered coffee with our pie slices and a place to sit. There is currently a lot of construction going on at the place because the business was hit hard after COVID and then flooding in Vermont in 2023 caused significant damage. My blueberry coffee cake was good. I will say it wasn't worth $8 per slice. As noted, the prices are sky high here. For two slices, two coffees, a small bag of cookies and a peanut butter bar it was $36....$39 if I wanted to pay by card so I opted for cash and saved the $3. Probably if prices were posted, customers would immediately turn around and walk out. When I saw the price of the pie slice, I immediately thought "This is as expensive as Manhattan". I don't mind as much when I shell out big bucks for food there because it's expected but it was a bit of a shock to see those prices in Vermont. To wrap it up, I agree with others that this place is overpriced and service is brusque at best. However, if prices had been posted, I would have given this 3 stars easily because I appreciate a direct and no-nonsense approach to running a business.
