Food, service, good restaurant for older people. Much like Cracker Barrel. Good bread to start with though! Rate it a 3 overall!

Btw, I have been to France many times on business, have eaton at some of the best restaurants in Paris, really good, just not to my taste. Ok, we went here last Sunday, I wasn't hungry, but my wife was, so we thought we would use the card. Wife ordered a beef dip, one of her favorite sandwiches, not on my top 10 list. I ordered a charcuterie plater, figured we could take it home, which we did. Anyway, I took a bit of her sandwich, and even though I wasn't hungry, I ate about half of it. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had of any kind. Very simple but delicious. Baguette was amazing, beef appeared to be cured somehow, huge flavor, au jus was great. Today I am going to Timnath to meet a friend for lunch and I am going to make a 30 minute detour to get a sandwich for us for dinner. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Life is too short to eat mediocre food, plus I am a stingy with my calories, like to spend them on delicious food. Thank you La Boutique. Sincerely, Bret and Michelle

I just love the FoCo food scene and wanted to try something new. The barista made a few suggestions. It was before 11am, so that eliminated all the pretzel roll options on the menu. I decided to go with the Roma. She was right! It was refreshing. I loved every bite. Very bread-forward but clearly a high quality bake. My partner got the French Dip and enjoyed it. There's a few small tables as well as barstools along the wall, but most people ordered to-go. Check out the marketplace items, too. So cute!

If you're anywhere near Fort Collins and haven't tried Kujira Ramen, you're missing out…read more I went all in: gyoza, pork belly steamed buns, and Tonkotsu Ramen -- and every single bite was absolutely unreal. The gyoza came out perfectly pan-seared -- crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavor. That dipping sauce had just the right balance of salty, tangy, and savory. You could easily crush two orders without trying. The pork belly steamed buns were next-level. Soft, pillowy buns wrapped around rich, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. The balance of fat, sweetness, and sauce was perfect. Messy in the best possible way. And then the star -- the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was deep, creamy, and packed with flavor -- that slow-simmered richness that tells you it was done right. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork was tender and seasoned beautifully. Every spoonful made you slow down just to appreciate it. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Clean atmosphere, great service, incredible food. 10/10 -- already planning the next trip back.

But they were also fairly quick with the appetizers that we tried. The barbecue tofu was surprisingly delicious with a great texture and yummy sauce. The Gyoza was also a fan favorite with a light crispy bottom and a good filling. We tried two different ramens with two different proteins. The beef was a bit, tough and dry, but the chashu was nice and soft like melting in your mouth. The broth was also good and the noodles were nice and thin. Overall, I felt like this was a nice bite to eat and definitely filling. The only thing I felt that was lacking was the service on refilling water. I would definitely come back if I was around the area. They definitely got busy pretty quick.

Her culinary knowledge was clear, and pointed us in the right direction in regards to cocktails & wine selections-- what a great way to start the meal off. The food was beyond incredible. We started with "Clam Chowd'ah". Let me mention that I grew up in the Northeast, vacationing in New England my entire life, and this soup is spot on to the real thing-- a true MUST order, along with some delicious French bread & butter was all a wonderful starter. For dinner, our table ordered the "Hazel Dell Mushroom Wellington," a vegetarian magnum opus to be sure-- crispy & decadent, yet delicate pastry filled will savory mushrooms, yum! We also ordered the "Braised Colorado Short Rib" that fell apart with a fork only, no knives needed it was so tender! And finally, we ordered the "Maine Scallop Risotto." Tender, delicate scallops, not tough in the slightest gently placed on perfectly cooked risotto the way it's supposed to be, slightly loose, and not gluey-- the flavor was rich & tasty! Utter perfection, and my favorite dish of the night if its even possible to pick one from the incredible cornucopia of masterful dishes. Finally, we ended with sharing the Flourless Chocolate Torte (a la mode)-- a lovely, perfect way to end this perfect meal. Rarely do ALL the elements of a meal come together. Amazing, warm service with knowledgeable staff, and every single dish, every single bite was unforgettable. My highest recommendation I have given in quite some time-- what a treat indeed!

If you are coming from the west on elizabeth its hard to get into the parking lot because of how the road has been changed. Spoons has a variety of salads, soups and sandwiches. They are also able to accomodate many dietary needs including gluten free and vegan which is always important to me. Their food is made fresh (and in non covid times when you can try the soups that is really nice!). Their soups change daily but the sandwiches and salads are the same though they do offer specials. I always love the minestrone soup and my family always loves the potato soups. The hummus sandwiches are really good too! They also have gluten free cookies if that is your thing :) The staff is always really friendly and helpful! The atmosphere is comfortable and when with my family i have enjoyed dining in there on several occasions. Reasons for 4 stars : -parking can be difficult if they are busy or shops around them are busy -it would be nice if they could offer some real silverware or cups if you are going to be dining in in an effort to have less waste.

They trimmed the bone end and pushed all the meat to the top. This made them less fatty and stringy, more crispy and delicious. Their short rib croquettes were also amazing. I'd never had a short ribs prepared this way stuffed inside a tasty pastry with potato and cheese. They are my new favorites. I was so full on appetizers that I went straight to dessert next and I have to say that their cookie dough creme brûlée. It wasn't too sugary and the cookie dough flavoring was not overpowering. Simply fantastic way to end a meal. I even took home their brownie and ice cream for my housemate. They said it was the best brownie they've ever had.

On the first trip I discovered Choice City Butcher and the best damn hamburgers I have ever had, anywhere, bar none. I returned for a burger pilgrimage at least once on every trip since. The vibe was casual (order at the counter/bar) and the beer selection was outstanding. This last year I went back for my yearly trip and was excited to introduce one of my colleagues to this place. As soon as I walked in, it all seemed different. The beer taps were gone, a waiter (!!) greeted us and seated us in a foofy feeling booth. I inquired about the changes and found that the ownership had changed recently. The menu was much more upscale feeling (though prices were relatively reasonable) and lacked the signature burgers I was looking forward to. Our order started with the brussels sprouts appetizer. Solid app. Very tasty and nicely roasted with a yummy aioli. My old fashioned was fine, but nothing special (I make a better one at home with $20 bottle bourbon). My main was their Horsetooth Burger (Chili Relleno burger) which was pretty disappointing. The patty itself looked and felt like it was frozen, not hand formed like the old ones. The Poblano was nearly tasteless and way too big for the bun. Overall the burger was very average and not very flavorful. In the long run, I was pretty disappointed in the food. Service, was great. Very attentive and friendly. Despite that, this will probably be my last visit to Choice City. I will mourn the loss of those amazing burgers for the rest of my life...
