A++ for Darren and his team! It's hard to find EXPERT craftsmen, but Darren is exactly that - in addition, he charges very REASONABLE prices and works quickly and to the schedule he gives. Darren came out to look at our wrought iron and ended up doing several distinct projects for us. He removed and replaced entirely an upper wrought iron rail on our balcony. He reapplied the finish on our front wrought iron gate (which he removed and took to his shop to perfect). He reapplied a specialty finish to some wrought iron decorations at the top of a wooden side gate. (In the course of all this, he noticed that a side door knob was not working - so he did some trouble-shooting there - which ended up meaning he located a perfect replacement knob and installed that as well.) The balcony railing which Darren designed with me, and then crafted for us from scratch, finished, and installed is absolutely EXQUISITE and perfectly designed for the space and for our home's Mediterranean look. Its installation improved our curb appeal instantly. The front gate and decorative pieces that Darren refinished for us are equally WELL EXECUTED. It turns out that Darren - being Orange County's long-time expert in wrought iron - actually designed and installed those pieces originally, so he knew exactly how to refresh them after all these years of sun and wear. I did not find him through this connection - he was recommended to me by a friend whose full-length front gate he had designed, created and installed - also an A++ result.
