After a pretty long day at the beach my crew was in need of some refreshing and yummy ice cream. I chose one of the more familiar cream combinations after trying out one other flavor. They were very generous with 1 scoop order. My daughter was craving chocolate but the closest to that was 'Creep It Real' Cookies and Cream. She was satisfied but was surprised by the color. I thought it was a cool grey color. There is very few high top seats inside but right outside the shop were tables and chairs. Very comfy seating. Would say this is high to moderate for ice cream but because it's in Ko Olina it makes sense for the high mark up. Overall, if it weren't for the price and the small selection of flavors it would have been a 5s. Since their 1 scoop helping is so big I would recommend they sell a Keiki/Child scoop. My daughter unfortunately could not finish it and had to waste it. My waistline couldn't pick up the ice cream eating slack. read more

I was so disappointed in this location. I love the Waipahu and Wahiawa because the ice cream there are really good and the service are always great at the other location. I wanted to take my friends to Black Sheep Cream because they never tried before. When I was ordering my ice cream, I notice the lady put a scoop in my cone and it looked melted and soft. I took a small lick and notice it was already MELTED. I ask the guy who was at the cash register if they have another vanilla that isn't melted. All he said was, "Sorry, it was left out for a while and it got melted." My thought process was, "Why would you serve something like this to customer when it's already melted?" VERY DISAPPOINTED. Went here on a Tuesday afternoon and the lady taking orders had a very unpleasant attitude. An easy to read menu since the server seems to not like to explain the selection to make the process easier when there are anxious kids waiting for a simple vanilla and chocolate ice cream can be helpful. Very odd experience at ko olina. Empty at 7pm. Showcase up front is empty. They have no batter for cones and no milk. No toppings. Said samples are "very limited". I noticed Black Sheep Cream when I first drove into Ko Olina. Call it perception, call it an obsession with ice cream - whatever it was, I put it on my radar to try before the end of my trip. I was back in the resort area early one evening and thought it would be a good idea to walk across the street to browse some shops and get some ice cream. I learned through the internet that this is not Black Sheep's original location - their other location has over 900 Yelp reviews and from what I can gather this spot is only a few months old. Walking in, I found a large area where a line can be formed before approaching the ordering counter. I'm assuming that the large space is for indoor tables that are not set up due to COVID, but if not I feel something else should be here - it seemed a little bare. They have a good amount of flavors, most of them are creative combinations thought I overheard that they offer basic flavors too like chocolate, vanilla, etc. I decided to go creative, and chose the salted crackamel; this was a play on caramel with a vanilla base and crispy caramel pieces throughout (almost toffee-like). Since I was feeling adventurous I decided to get it in a cone - you can choose from regular or chocolate and I chose the former. The flavor of the ice cream was great - I loved the caramel bits paired with the vanilla. What I was struggling with was the combination of the thickness of the ice cream paired with the cone. The ice cream was super creamy, and was slightly tough to handle even though they stuck a spoon in it. That's fine, but then the cone needs to have the integrity to withstand the ice cream which I did not feel it had. The cone was too delicate, and broke in my hand as I was working the ice cream with the spoon. If the cone was ever so thicker and the ice cream ever so thinner then it would have been perfect. Overall I loved the flavor of the ice cream, but for me Black Sheep left something to be desired. I think a few tweaks would land this in better opinion from me, but as of now I would recommend getting the ice cream in a cup. read more

I actually came here since I was a passenger on the Hawaiian Railway Soceity train, and this is exactly where the train stops for 25min. I'd advise other customers to try to visit this ice cream shop when the train isn't in front of the store because I noticed that a majority of the train passengers chose to line up to get ice cream (long line!!). Black Sheep Cream Co. is an ice cream shop to get ice cream from once in a while, but not all the time since their prices are slightly expensive. I usually love the butter cake flavor but they sadly ran out so I ended up trying their rocky road flavor. I ended up loving it! Finally I came here because there is long line whenever I wanted to go! This is at corner of Koolina station. They just opened so seems like they still have something to do in the shop. I see menu on the big board and those names are very unique! I chose pint size macho man(this is matcha and black sesame), mint cream and spill the tea(this is earl gray tea with toffee nuts. $10 each. All of them are so delicious and fresh ice cream! Macho man has sesame crunch in side. I love it but my son didn't like it because too strong sesame taste. I need to explore for waffle corn and more next time. read more

Sadly our group of 5 left and bought ice cream next door. Genuinely really good ice cream but it sucks traveling all the way there and their flavor options for the night being so limited.
