Pretty odd location but it works. You can actually dine in and chill which is awesome. You don't often see this at this local chain. Its nice to be able to sit down and relax maybe have a slice. They don't have a soda fountain so dont expect to sit down and have a full meal with a drink its just a nice waiting area. It includes a arcade cabinet which is a nice touch. Never have had bad food from here just bangers. They do seem understaffed as two people were working the whole kitchen which sucks because they will take a phone call over someone standing there. This is where I bring it down two stars. If I drove to this location to order or pick up, I should never have to wait for a phone call to end. A person who is standing there should always have priority. It's screwed up I can stand there in line and call and pass the line. If you want a 5 star understand a physical customer always should be priority. read more

Leaving a review of Blackjack Pizza on South Garrison Street on Tuesday November 19, 2024 .. called in an order for pizza and wings to be picked up , arrived to pick up my order after the time period I was told to come , paid for my order waited at the counter for another 20 minutes only to be told that my order had not been prepared .. terrible service , finally got a refund from a manager who came in from a delivery that had no idea what was going on .. will not ever go to this Blackjack Pizza again, nor will my family , they have lost a lot of business and unfortunately they don't care and they made that very clear that they don't .. would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else .. there are plenty of other pizza places in the Lakewood area take your business there .. read more

TL;DR: I have found a gem, lemme tell ya. Firstly, I don't understand why this business has anything less than 5 stars. My experience was great. Some of the reviews I read were about their delivery service which I cannot speak on. What I can speak on is their online ordering, takeout process, and food as a whole! I was craving some pizza and happened upon this gem of a location. Never heard of it before, but why not try! I had chosen to order online through their website. Was easy enough to pick out what I wanted and have my order confirmation within minutes. Time to wait for some great food. Once I got there, I went in and tried to retrieve my order. I realized I was a little bit before the promised time that they said it would be done, so I waited a little bit and BAM! Like clockwork, my name was called almost exactly when it was supposed to be ready. Wonderful. Grabbed it and headed home! Now on to the food: I had ordered a custom pizza from their online menu. It looked like none of their pre-selected options were vegetarian so I tried to create my own. This was easy and ended up choosing a large square pan pizza with toppings of spicy ranch, mozzarella, and pineapple. Let me tell you, I AM SO GLAD I PICKED THESE! The pizza as a whole was wonderful. The spicy ranch was basically the icing on the cake and made the pizza just that much better. GET IT FOR SURE! I had ordered this pizza for just one person and have had leftovers since the first day. Each time, still just as good. Not to mention that ordering this large square pan was relatively inexpensive! I'm so glad I found this place. Will for sure, hopefully, be going back! read more

I placed an online order for delivery. After an extended period of time with no delivery, I called the store to be told I placed a web pick up order. I did not. I placed a delivery order and added a 20% tip for delivery. To double check myself, I even used Blackjack's feature to repeat my last order to check how the order was placed and it showed "delivery". Called the store, spoke to the manager and was refused a refund. Called repeatedly and staff refused to take the call, disconnecting calls without answering. I have been doing business with this store for many years, placing an order nearly every week. My daughter even worked there at one time. I wonder which employee pocketed the 20% tip? The manager? Dishonest, rude and poor customer service. I consider this to be theft and will dispute the charges. read more

Even if it's just $2, imagine that times the 200 people he delivers to each night. I had a $2 off post card, which clearly says on it "Hand to driver and they will take $2 off your order." He tried to tell me it was "already taken off" and I should go ahead and tip him and pay too! Of course, it wasn't. I'd placed the order online, and he didn't know about the coupon until I handed it to him. I took back my coupon and wrote the company, but still... Shady, Shady, SHADY! UPDATE!!! The "manager" got back to me (with the most unprofessional email ever... it is laughable and offensive!) And accused ME! He called ME a LIAR, AND sent me MULTIPLE emails with obnoxious language. How amusing. He also said that the are "not obligated" to honor corporate coupons, said he'd "just take it out of the driver's tip," and told me to TEAR UP my coupons. He has also gone into my credit card records, and changed the amount I was charged, which I believe is fraud, or at the very least, against Visa's terms of use. The sauce tastes funky! The first few bites of our pepperoni and green bell pepper pizza tasted fine, but after those first few bites, the whole experience tends to go downhill. I couldn't pinpoint what it was that tasted weird, then finally it came to me. Overall, the pizza is alright, except the sauce is bad. . Really bad, actually. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again. That, and on their website it says you can order "hot peppers" but apparently they don't have them.. or maybe they just didn't have them tonight.. I've been trying to order a pizza for delivery and your app gives me an error about google not being able to locate by address. It is the correct address and my location services are activated on my phone. I tried 5 times and it won't work. Sorry, I'm ordering from somewhere else. I have fond memories of Blackjack from my youth. Maybe it is because this was the pizza served in my High School, or maybe its because this is what I used to eat at sporting events, I don't know. I don't get to eat this chain much, because it is nowhere near Vegas. I, however, appreciate the tangy sauce, amazing thin crust and fresh ingredients. I also really appreciate the inexpensive nature of the pie. I last enjoyed Blackjack on my last visit to the metro area in late May 2010. The wife and I had just gotten back from a train ride to Glenwood Springs. We were hungry, and when my dad picked us up at Union Station I decided to call Blackjack. We got three large pizzas, 2 thin crust, one deep dish. We had assorted veggies and a meat pizza for my brother and dad. When we arrived to pick up the pizza, it was hot and fresh. A plus was they got the order right which doesn't happen as often as it should these days. The best part is that 3 pizzas was under $20.
