Blacklight space-themed mini golf, with 18 holes, par 3 on them all. Little in the way of features, mostly some flat obstacles to put around and the ramps are limited (often bouncing back if you hit too hard). It gets warm inside, it's slow going as the holes are all small and you crunch together when there's slower play in front of you (hard to skip), and while there are a couple of cool landers/robots/etc. in the mini golf course, I'd say I've been in better. $20 for admission per person playing, max is a foursome (in theory, but larger groups went in multiple blocks). There are times, but the staff in the front will let you know if there's a big slow group in front and have you step back to avoid being stuck in there too long, so that was good. You can get this discounted if you do other attractions.

This one is probably the coolest obstacle.

Date of visit 9/13/22 Very torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one, there were a lot of things to like here but also some things that could definitely be improved. Cons: Rules are on the scorecard but staff doesn't tell you them, so if you don't bother to read the back of the card, you won't know about the six-stroke cap or letting faster groups go ahead of you. It was just the two of us and we got stuck behind two other groups, one of which was a foursome that had a really terrible player that really gummed up the works. Thankfully about halfway through they let us move ahead of them. Each hole varies wildly in terms of originality; some are fun and unusual. Others look like they had about 30 seconds worth of effort put into them. There are plentiful garbage cans but they don't offer food or drink and don't allow any on the course... The price is a bit high for what you get as well. It also just seems to end with a whimper instead of a bang. Pros: The course is fun and is a great date option. It only takes about an hour to complete the course if you have just two people and the stand to hold your scorecard is a nice touch so you can focus on your game. The music is trippy and really lends itself to the atmosphere, though there are a couple spots where you end up standing WAY too close to a speaker blasting out cuts that Enya found too futuristic to make one of her albums.

Not impressed. Most of this 18-hole course was quite flat with not much to each hole except for the neon black light effect. Their par 3 for each hole is very doable for most ages but at $20 per ticket, it's rather cost-prohibitive and not really worth it. NOTES/TIPS: **On the 2nd floor next to the Mirror Maze which I recommend and is an additional $8/person with mini golf admission.

Blacklight Mini Golf is a lot of quirky, glowy, fun. The place is well maintained, the staff is friendly, and pricing is fair considering the location. The course has a space-y vibe with an alien planet, astronaut theme. Great place to stop for some family fun when you're visiting American Dream.

It's located inside the very nice American Dream mall which has a lot of stores for everyone to either shop at before or after mini golfing. To start off, the place was clean and had hand sanitizing stations right outside the entrance. The course is for the most part flat, however it was still enjoyable. The neon lights setting makes it very cool and different than your typical mini golf arena. The price is decent at $20 per ticket (before tax). Went with a group of friends and we all had fun.

space is too small. the holes are too close together, making it each group crowd the one ahead.

Midland Ave…read more Paramus, NJ 07652 Halloween takes places l once a year, but you can celebrate the spooky holiday every day of the year as soon as you enter at your own risk. The 18-hole miniature is dimly lit with a horror resemblance of night and gloom. While you are working on your putts, admire the neat Halloween decorations while listening to club music. It would have fit better into the scenery if only Halloween music was played, but the tunes are still enjoyable. Whether or not you are an experienced miniature golf does not bear any significance as the primary goal is to have a great time! In addition to the golf course, a variety of arcade machines and carnival style games are available. Although the graphics are detailed and entertaining, the cost per game is costly and the playing time does not last long. If you have an hourish to spare, I would highly recommend exploring this golf course. It is family oriented and geared for all age groups. As a bonus, there is an axe throwing range conveniently located next door if you need another hour of recreation. #monsterminigolf #halloween #paramusnj #monsterminigolfparamus

Perhaps it's because of the sheer size of the mall or perhaps people were busy celebrating Mother's Day elsewhere, but it wasn't as busy or crowded as I would've expected. Although the food court wasn't packed, the wait for Jollibee was insane (probably a 25-35 minute wait). It was worth it though, I hope more malls in the U.S. have Jollibee. After eating, I explored the mall a bit. American Dream has a NHL-reuglate size ice skating rink (entrance is on the first floor, where you can also get the tickets). But what's wilder is the ski and snowboard resort - the first indoor snow resort in North America. I didn't go in but I could feel the chilliness from the condensation on the windows. There's also an NJ Hall of Fame, laser tag, Sesame Street Learn & Play, and Nickelodeon Universe inside. You can enter Nickelodeon Universe (no tickets needed) but you need to buy points to go on the rides. Even if you don't go on the rides, there are plenty of photo ops. I saw Spongebob and Squiward taking photos on a stage. Other cool things about American Dream: A ferris wheel called American Dream that allows you to see the NYC skyline, a Toys "R" Us train that goes around on one floor, and HMart. There is a fancier part of American Dream with high-end stores, too. I didn't come here for shopping though. Plenty of spots in the parking garage and it's $6 for each vehicle, though the first 15 minutes are free.

1 star - More Nightmare Than Dream…read more (But giving a 3 star since what was actually open was fun.) Took my daughter to American Dream Mall for her birthday weekend, expecting water slides and celebration shakes. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment. The water park was closed for electrical work. Fine -- things happen. So we headed to the shake shop to salvage the birthday with one of their fancy cake-topped frappés. Also closed. At this point the "dream" branding was starting to feel like false advertising. The hotel situation wasn't any better, not that the mall can be blamed for this. But fair warning to others who traveled as far as we did for this magical weekend. Pool closed for the entire weekend -- not for a quick cleaning, but pending state inspection results that could take "days to weeks." Called around to other hotels thinking we'd just move. Same story everywhere. Apparently post-Memorial Day weekend triggers mandatory state testing after high guest volume, and every pool in the area was in limbo. Nobody mentioned this when we booked. Back at the mall, the game room -- where the closed shake shop lives -- lost power entirely. And if that weren't enough, the fire alarm spent a good chunk of the afternoon flashing and blaring "there is a fire in the building, evacuate immediately" on repeat. Not once. Multiple times. So to recap: no water park, no birthday shake, no hotel pool, no game room, and a fire alarm that cried wolf so often we genuinely weren't sure whether to panic or just keep walking. Happy birthday, kid. At least the parking lot was open.

They have private party rooms where they'll bring in pizza and drinks and more for your kiddos. 2. There's built-in entertainment like mini-golf (obviously), a surprisingly extensive arcade complete with tickets to win and redeem for plastic that your kids will love and you will hate. 3. The staff is seriously on point. I'm telling you, they have headsets! They're communicating in real time about where everyone in your party should be, and what needs to be happening. I appreciate you people. 4. There's a BAR FOR THE ADULTS. I can't stress this enough. You know how parents just stand around awkwardly while their kids scream and play and run? Well, it's better when you have a drink in your hand. They've got a solid beer selection, frozen rum punch and pina coladas (see: shipwrecked), and some bottom shelf liquor that the bartender looked into my friend's (the parent of the birthday girl) dead eyes and offered him a heavier pour on the house. This is going to be a staple in my life for the next five years or so, and although I'm sure I'll get tired of it, at least there's a bar.
