Real happy with my Gladiator Mojave... The owners answered all my questions and did some changes that I requested." Now that's good customer service". I recommend them 100%.

Working with Hunter Tejada and Blackstar Offroad was an outstanding experience. Easy going, customer friendly and provided all the information we needed upfront. So much easier to work with than your typical car dealer. Oh, and the Jeep we purchased was a truly added bonus. Highly recommended visiting the shop as well as working with Hunter. You won't be disappointed.

SPECTACULAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I drove 90 min to come check out this awesome custom build dealership and it did not disappoint! Since I don't live in the area I didn't reach Blackstar until 45 minutes before they closed. Most places try to close up around this time and shoo customers away but Hunter greeted us with open arms. He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He allowed us to take our time, answered all of our questions and wasn't pushy at all! I would highly recommend this family owned business, they are very honest and welcoming.

I bought my 2020 Jeep Wrangler (stock) MDW 2020 and by mid-June, the boys over at Blackstar Offroad had my sweet girl tricked out and outfitted for some serious dirt & sand adventures. My hubby researched and spoke with the owner, Tim, about ideas for upgrades and working in a budget. Tim and team made my Malibu Barbie dreams come true!! 35" tires and Black Rhino wheels, 2.5 lift with the side rail I wanted and Ho-Damn, she I got even "purdier" than she was before! Thank you so much for the work on my Jeep. The craftsmanship and professionalism can't be matched.

My parents recently sold me their 2004 Jeep Wrangler. They kept it mostly stock, only adding modifications for RVing. I knew the first thing I wanted to do was make it look like a Jeep. I hit the forums and found that I could add 31' inch tires without a lift. Then I searched local areas that performed mods. Blackstar Offroad's name stuck out to me as I had driven past it before. Their gorgeous Jeeps in front of their business had drawn in my attention. I read a bunch of reviews, along with the responses from the owner and decided I would go in to ask questions. However, I failed to read that they only work on JK and JL Wranglers. I went in and was enamoured with all the amazing Jeeps they had for sale. I was greeted by an employee who informed me that they no longer work on TJ's. As I was getting ready to walk out, Tim walked out of an office and asked me what type of mods I needed. I explained that I only wants bigger tires with wheels. He quickly said they could do it. He followed me out to my Jeep and we shared stories. He told me he just bought one for his daughter and was fixing it up for her. He gave me a ton of advice and listened to what I wanted. He gave a recommendation to do a small lift due to potential rubbing and being unleveled. He obviously knows more than me so I agreed and was excited for the project. He emailed me the same day with links to different options. By the following day, we were a go and the parts were on order. Less than a week later, he email me that the parts were in and that they had availability. My Jeep came out exactly how I wanted it to. Tim's expertize along with his kindness made this experience so easy and positive! Unfortunately, Tim was not there when I picked it up. However, I had the pleasure of meeting Hunter, who was also very nice. Anyway, my point is - bring you Jeep here. Or buy a Jeep here! They will treat you well. Thank you so much Tim!

Now this is how you supposed to run a dealership. HONEST, HELPFUL , KNOWLEDGEABLE and do everything they can to make sure you leave knowing you came to the right place. Mike helped us out get into this amazing custom Jeep wrangler with no hassles. He made the whole process smooth and transparent. Their inventory is amazing to say the least and I guarantee you if you are looking for a Wrangler or Gladiator there is no better place out there.

Great service and assistance from Hunter. He let me customize my Gladiator to what I wanted. Extended shipment and delivery window for the Rockslide Engineering steps but Hunter kept me updated regularly...even when I bugged him when he was off. Then they had my Jeep shipped to me in North County San Diego so I wouldn't have to go back to Anaheim. Thank you Hunter and Blackstar Offroad! The work done looks great!

No pressure, friendly, great selection, and some awesome builds! Wife and I were considering picking up a jeep and were looking for a specific color and trim. Blackstar Offroad had the only few I could find. Reached out and Hunter gave me a call back. They were very accommodating to our busy schedule and when we showed up with little time they let us see/drive what we like and head out. No pressure, no frustrating sales antics. Just friendly face answering any questions. Looks like they provide vehicle sales along with anything you'd need throughout the ownership to build up and modify as needed. Neat place. If in the market for a Jeep, seems like the place to go.

What an amazing experience with Blackstar Offroad!!! I had been looking for a place to get my jeep lifted, tires, as well as a few repairs and I couldn't be happier to have found these guys. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had when it comes to car modifications and repairs, not to mention their customer service seriously deserves 10 stars! They really go above and beyond. Especially coming in as a female with limited knowledge about some of the builds. George (who's supppper awesome- fingers crossed you get the chance to hang and chat with him) walked me through everything, with some great recommendations. He kept everything within my budget and guided me in the right direction based on things I love to do. I've finally got the jeep I've been wanting for ages!! Special thanks to Jeff who was always super friendly on the phone, easy to chat with and provided some great tips. He was always quick to follow up and reply via email, provided an initial ballpark quote and was just on it!! He's the reason I chose to drive into the shop and check it out in the first place. Definitely visit their new shop and show room over in Anaheim and hopefully you'll have the opportunity to appreciate everything they have to offer. Thank you guys for everything!!! Love my jeep! And posted some fun pics of our first road trip :)

If you are considering modifying your Jeep, look no further than Blackstar Offroad!! For the past 6 months I have been considering lifting and adding accessories to our sons Jeep, and we finally made the decision to do so, and so happy that we did, he absolutely loves it!! The entire team at Blackstar is incredible to work with, especially Tim, who walked us thru the process, showing us the best solutions for what we were looking for and at a very reasonable price. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, you definitely will not be sorry that you had Blackstar make your modifications!!

Bought my first almost new car last week from George. He was honest and helpful. I didn't feel pressured and he made sure I got what I wanted. Friendly, family owned and operated business. I highly recommend using Blackstar Off-road for your Jeep purchases and upgrades. Went back to get my car washed and filled with gas after my purchase because we didn't have time for them to do it the day I bought it. They did a great job and Jeff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks again guys!

When I called to ask why, I was told, "things are what they are," and that it was somehow my fault--even though I disclosed the application before purchasing. Their only solution was for me to pay return shipping and refurbishment fees. A company's reputation isn't built on how they handle easy sales--it's built on how they treat customers when something goes wrong. This experience encapsulated everything wrong with poor customer service: no accountability, no willingness to help, and no effort to stand behind their product. I won't be doing business with this company again I respectfully disagree. I told you before purchasing that this truck uses a 1977 El Camino suspension, and I relied on your recommendation. If the vehicle's weight was going to turn an advertised 2-inch drop into a 3.5-inch drop, that should have been disclosed before the sale--not after installation. Blaming "vehicle weight" after the fact feels more like an excuse than a technical explanation. I was looking for a reasonable solution, not shipping charges and refurbishment fees for a product that didn't perform as advertised.

I put it on a charger, but it only reached 12.6 VDC and couldn't hold the charge. An hour later, it dropped to 12.2 VDC, and continued to drop. I swapped in a battery from another vehicle, and it held steady at 12.8 VDC. No issues. So, the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I brought the original battery in for warranty. What happened next was honestly baffling. The employee wouldn't even look me in the eye as I tried to explain the issue. He interrupted me and said, "I don't care about any of that. I just test it." I asked, "So you don't want to hear the issue?" He repeated, "No, I don't care about any of that." OK, He doesn't care . . . I guess I just stand here, say nothing . . . wait. Then he plugged in their test unit and said, "It needs a charge." I told him it had already been charged. He replied, "You didn't wait long enough--it takes an hour and a half." I explained it had been on the charger all night. His response? "It's your alternator." Oh my God! I told him I know cars and electronics, and I had data from both the working battery and the one in question. He shrugged and said, "It's policy," with a tone that made it clear he had zero interest in helping. Not once did he make eye contact. This wasn't just poor service--it was astonishingly dismissive. Do they train their staff in customer service? Do they understand how charging systems work? Do they know the difference between a battery that's low and one that can't hold a charge? Apparently not. In the end, I was out of luck. And honestly, I could've accepted that, doubted the warrantees on these things are real at O'Reilly's anyway, if I hadn't been treated with such disrespect. When did "I don't care" become something you say to a customer? The night before I had already priced batteries around town because of my doubts. So it was easy for me to just go down the road. I bought a new battery (for far less than the same one at O'Reilly's) from someone who was actually pleasant to deal with, dropped it in, and everything worked perfectly, tested the voltages, good, load good, started right up, charges good. Problem solved. Long-term solution? Avoid O'Reilly Auto Parts, especially this location. I've had issues here before, but never anything like this. There is one person there who's decent, but unfortunately, I wasn't dealing with her. O'Reilly Auto Parts: those warranties they advertise may not mean much if "policy" overrides common sense. O'Reilly Auto Parts Placentia: the "I don't care" customer service model is a bold new strategy... one that customers should absolutely avoid.
