I called them out specifically to fix a hot tub leak that occurs only when attempting to fill the tub.The technician, John, failed to diagnose the issue properly. He did not fill the tub to locate the source of the leak, and he removed the front and rear panels while completely ignoring the panel on the side where the leak actually occurs. Furthermore, he replaced a valve and O-rings for $18.99 without explaining the repair or seeking my approval first. He then reassembled everything and left without testing if the issue was resolved.To make matters worse, my total bill was $269.37, which included a $149 trip fee that was never disclosed to me upfront before the appointment. After he left, I attempted to fill the hot tub, and it is still leaking in the exact same manner. I paid a premium price for a random, unauthorized repair that did not fix my actual problem. I fired Premier Pool Service after months of repeated negligence that ultimately destroyed my pool…read moreequipment. To give credit where it's due, they did a decent job with the basic water chemistry and balancing--but keeping the water balanced is completely meaningless when a company destroys the equipment running it. For several months, their technicians left my pool pump lid improperly secured and not fully closed. Despite sending them text messages with videos raising my concerns, the issue was never addressed--they were only concerned about preventing a negative review rather than actually fixing their service. Leaving the lid loose caused the pump to repeatedly lose prime and run dry over time. The resulting severe heat spike completely melted the internal diffuser, pushing it forward into the pool pump basket and destroying the basket as well. The heat also ruined the internal threading on the motor backplate--ultimately torching the motor itself. When a tech came to my house, they claimed the failure was caused by a misadjusted spillover valve and said that leaving the lid unsecured had nothing to do with it failing. This is completely false--a pump doesn't break instantaneously; the damage accumulated over several months of them repeatedly leaving the lid unsecured and letting the system run dry. To top it off, while they didn't charge me a "service fee" for coming out, they handed me an estimate for over $3,000 to replace the entire pump rather than taking responsibility for the damage they caused. Instead of paying them over $3,000, I had to take apart the equipment, clean out melted plastic, and rebuild the assembly myself, incurring over $1,350+ in direct out-of-pocket costs to replace the damaged parts. Balanced water is not worth a $1,300+ repair bill or a $3,000 quote to fix their own mistakes. Premier Pool Service shifted blame, showed zero accountability, ignored documented warnings, and left me to pay for and fix their mess. Save yourself the money and headache--hire a company that actually knows how to properly service pool equipment.
