Full disclosure: I work at a rival brewpub in the area and I sometimes come here on my day off for food and drink. That being said, I always have a spectacular time when I eat here. While the beer selection leaves a little to be desired, (PBR sandwiched between Zipline Kolsch and Infusion VBB? Come on.) the staff is knowledgeable and professional. Today I sampled O'Dell's Sippin Pretty American Wild Ale, a very fruit forward, tart, and vibrant b eer. Normally I prefer a stout or porter but this beer was heavenly. When I asked my bartender, Kenzie, for a pairing she suggested the Dixie Fried Chicken sandwich, which I had with their house made Dillon Potato salad. All of the elements at play in the meal, which arrived promptly, were perfectly suited you one another. The richness of the chicken, the complex flavors in the potato salad countered by the brightness of the beer. SUPERB! Kenzie seemed bright, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. If it is possible to send her home with a free beer do so post haste. I promise you she deserves it. read more

Stopped in for lunch with my wife. She had the backyard burger with truffle fries and she said it fresh and delicious. I enjoyed a wonderful blattwurst (beer brat) on a pretzel bun with parmesan garlic fries. This meal was amazing. The brat and kraut tasted fresh and the rosemary mustard was delightful touch. First time eating here and I thought it was pretty good! The chicken tenders were still very juicy and the batter they use is very flavourable! The fries were okay could have been better. I ate at the Blatt Beer & Table restaurant located in Flagship Commons in Westroads mall. It was fairly busy in the mall, but we didn't have to wait too long to order. You kind of have the choice to either sit in the bar area and order food, or to order in a separate area and then sit in the general mall food court seating. We didn't really know the difference so ordered in the latter and couldn't sit in the bar area. Next time we'll just go sit in the bar. Flagship Commons is hardly a typical food court though and their seating is great. I'm always searching for the best vegan food in Omaha, and have spotted this vegan currywurst on many recommendation lists. It's basically a curry flavored vegan bratwurst in a pretzel bun with their spicy rosemary mustard and sauerkraut. If you can get a bite of all the flavors, it's great. It's a little messy to eat, so next time I'll sit in the bar area and ask for a knife and just cut in half. The currywurst itself is a bit tough, but has GREAT flavor! I don't think if you pointed out that it's vegan to someone, they would "detect" that it's not a standard brat except that it's not quite as juicy. It's a very unique flavor combo which I really enjoyed. The mustard tastes to me like it has wasabi in it and is very tasty. I would order this again. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Actually stopped in for those damn pretzel bites, those little doughy pieces of crack and don't even start talking about the beer dip... Great food and the prices aren't decent given the quality of food and it's at a food court. The customer service was above my expectations. The manager was engaged and ensuring everything was as expected. They all were active but still far from annoying, a rare good customer experience. If you like chicken and waffles then you need to try this place out. It was DELICIOUS!! I ate everything o my plate. I really enjoyed the cornbread/jalapeño waffle. My husband had the chicken sandwich and he liked it a lot too. We tried the beer cheese soup and it was ok. Probably wouldn't order it again. Service was pretty good. We had a nice friendly waiter and he made sure we had everything we needed. I was a little hesitant about the seating because it is in the mall, but we were able to find a good seat next to the window. I really liked eating here, and I plan to try it again. read more

Dirty glass issue Probably an ok place and stuff happens but... was drinking a red beer and when I got to the bottom of the glass it was dirty. Like sesame seeds or pickle seeds stuck to the bottom inside. Showed waitress who said "want a clean glass?" Ummm. Beer was gone? Didn't offer to adjust check. She didn't report it. Just dumped beer and out in sink. Classic get rid of evidence. Didn't get sick or anything but the thought of being served something in a dirty glass - GROSS read more

Server is ungodly rude, will NOT be back to any of their locations. The burger has NO taste, McDonalds $1 burgers are bigger. And no condiments on the table, so the fries suck. read more

Can not think of one positive thing to say. Waited for a server. She walked by several times. But nothing. Even the bartender must have noticed because he came over and said I will get you started with drinks. Got the drinks and said well I may as well take your order. 2 burgers, 2 chicken and waffles. And we wait. .. he came out and said it should be out any second. Then the manager? came out and said we lost your order here are some pretzel bites while we put a rush on it. So the bartender obviously had no clue. not worth the wait, not worth $11. One burger made wrong, so we are made to wait longer. All this and we get a 20% discount. We won't be back. read more

Stopped by for lunch and we were not let down in the slightest. Everything from the drinks to the food was amazing. My wife had the vegan bratwurst and it came with whole grain mustard and sauerkraut, a bit much for her. She asked for a plain one and they obliged with a smile on their face. Very bad place. My mother & I came to the Flagship Commons food hall to eat; I had Yoshi-Ya Ramen (which is always good) and my mother chose Blatt Beer & Table. The employees at Blatt were very unfriendly; the woman running the register gave my mother dirty looks and only said what she was required to say ("Is there anything else you want?" said in an aggrivated tone) and nothing else to ensure the customer's experience is a good one. The halfwit delivering the hamburgers was annoying as well as he kept shooting dirty looks towards my mother for no reason. With all of this came an extremely long wait for the food; I had my food in less than 5 minutes at Yoshi-Ya Ramen and was sitting at a table by myself for at least 25-30 minutes afterwards because the whole time my mother was still waiting for the incompetent peabrains behind the counter at Blatt to prepare her food. Finally my mother arrives to the table and she's also unsatisfied with how long it took. To top it off, once the burger was unwrapped it was terrible to even look at let alone eat. The burger as a whole was so slimy & soggy to the point it fell apart as my mother was holding it. Both the buns & the burger were absolutely drenched in ketchup - and my mother didn't even want ketchup on the burger to begin with. The rest of the toppings were lazily applied to where it looks like a big slimy clump of hideousness. I've seen very terrible burgers that were made by fast food chains like Dairy Queen, Sonic, Burger King, etc... even those disgusting fast food chain burgers didn't look as disgusting as this particular burger from Blatt. The burger was literally that bad, hence why me - a person who didn't even eat it but nonetheless witnessed this - is complaining about it on here right now. Don't give these stuck-up boneheads the satisfaction of raking in your dough. read more

First time visit to this location. Walked up to the counter to order and all was fine. Decided to sit down and went into the dine-in, "please seat yourself" section. We were shortly approached by a server who told my wife and I that we are not allowed to sit there because we didn't order from a server. He also mentioned the servers work on tips. I told him we would be happy to tip a server and he responded with, "Fine. Do what you want." So I did just that and went to the counter for a full refund and took our business elsewhere. I won't be giving my business to a place that has no clue how to treat their customers. read more

Delicious! Fantastic beer list, the service was attentive and on point! We ate at a local brewpub and were grossed out by the food so we came here and were blown away! Keep it up! Blatt is awesome. I've been to all of their locations. Their draft brews are awesome. I love their selections. One of their items Chicken waffles is just over the top good but it's huge!!! U can share that if u r not too hungry. West Omaha area is also good. read more

Okay but not stellar. Average burger and soggy fries. It's hard to compete with some of the best in the country right here in Omaha, Nebraska, but you will find much better fare at Dinkers, Burger Lust, and Goldbergs. read more

Great beer selection. Very nice for a mall food court style location. The chicken sandwich was really good. My daughter said the Mac&Cheese was so-so. Friendly service and also an express counter without service. Bar tender was pretty funny. read more

If I could give this less than one star I would! The help including the food runners are so slow. Unfortunately for those of us who work at the mall they won't let you order off the regular menu at the to go window because they claim they can't ring it up on their register. I would give 4.5 if I could so I rounded up. We stopped in for lunch after the swim trials. Great location if you are coming from the ballpark or the arena. Had a beer each and fried chicken sandwich and mango chutney grilled chicken sandwich. They were both very tasty. We sat at the bar and our service was great. read more

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered blatt burger (have had before and really liked it). This burger tasted funny (not good funny); and half of the fries were over fried but still limp (must have been sitting in back for awhile). Won't go back for quite awhile until they get the menu back under control! read more
