I asked for pesto sauce and red sauce. At first the girl said "we don't do that". I said "I've always gotten it that way". I wanted pesto sauce spreaded First then red sauce on top. She didn't spread out the pesto sauce, they were just clumped all over and then she spreaded red sauce on top. I feel she rushed thru everything. The pizza didn't taste good. As I was eating, I saw another employee gave the customer exactly what I asked for. So how could she say "we don't do it that way anymore". Blaze is a chain. So the food has a standard which they met. You make your pizza and you have no one to complain about it not tasting good but yourself. So the rest of this review is about the staff. The guy making the dough was not happy. He seemed angry like he was forced to be here. He didn't do anything to me but he wasn't happy or pleasant to talk to. Then comes the cashier / cook. This guy was like the angry, mean, tough guy trying to be authoritive but not rude. He didn't do or say anything bad either but both these guys do not want to be there. There was one girl was at least pleasant. So come for the custom pizza. Don't expect smiling and happy staff. read more

I like that the ingredients appear fresh, there is a variety in meats, cheeses,veggies, even options for the dough. The flavor is pretty good and I can walk out satisfied. This location is busy, I typically have to wait in a line to order my food, so just be aware. The restaurant is on the smaller side compared to most, but has a large parking lot with plenty of spots. The staff is typically friendly, the location is convenient and pretty clean. Good spot for decent, quick meal. read more

It's a large plaza and it's easy to find the restaurant but I do notice that parking may be a problem if you like to park close by. There is plenty of parking if you don't mind walking a little bit. Food - 5/5 - It's pizza, who doesn't love pizza! The fact that you get to pick and chose your sauces, cheeses and toppings is amazing and you know exactly what you are getting. Price - $ - The build your own is $9.95 for the original dough and you add additional flat fees for the special crusts. They are honestly so worth your money as it is a personal pizza for only $10 and you get to customize it with all the toppings you would like. They also have gluten free options: gluten free dough (which is also vegan, +$2.50), Keto Crust (+$4.00) and Cauliflower crust (+$3.50) for those who prefer that. The original dough and high rise dough (+$2.50) are both either vegan or vegetarian friendly I believe. It is so cool that this place has vegan options, including having vegan cheese and they have a gluten free vegan crust option. This location has access to a parking lot. It's in a shopping center with several other businesses including some other eateries. When I went there they were very busy. I believe they were filling a lot of online orders because there wasn't that many people inside. So there was a bit of a delay to get helped. I was not bothered by the wait, it wasn't that long and they do work pretty quickly and efficiently. If you are in a rush it seems as if ordering online is the way to go. You order at the end of the counter and you pick your crust, sauce and toppings. You can custom make a pizza or they also have specific ones you can order off the menu. They do a great job of keeping track of the pizza orders even though they cook several pizzas at once. Staff is friendly and usually pretty generous when you ask for extra toppings. I ordered the BYO Pizza with original crust, regular red sauce, extra mozzarella and parmesan, pepperoni, sausage, chicken, red onions, mushroom, roasted garlic, and basil. Wow, I must say out of all the BYO Pizza joints out there like Pieology and MOD Pizza, Blaze is probably my favorite. The crust is super flavorful and extra toasted for that crunchiness. Ingredients were fresh and came together harmoniously. Can't get enough of that roasted garlic though. Just love garlic so much LOL. Overall, I'm happy that Blaze is walking distance to me now.
