I like the thin crust and that there is not too much sauce. My husband got one of their "signature pizzas" called Link In. Although he said his was good, he still liked mine better! While in the area after leaving Cumberland mall we decided that we would get pizza for lunch. We chose Blaze due to it being close. The set up is similar to many of the build your own pizza places, but I liked how they had several choices to choose from on the pre-designed menu. There was a few options for crust including Keto which I have not seen at any of the similar pizza joints and which sets Blaze apart from the rest. Customer Service was friendly and professional. I ordered the red vine with no olive oil. All the ingredients were fresh. My husband built his own with meat and veggies. They offer fresh lemonade amongst the drink options. We came here during Covid 19 and they were super clean and careful to clean behind anything that anyone touched. We decided to eat on the patio since it made it easier to social distance. The crust was thin like I prefer and the pizza was cooked well. Definitely not the best pizza I've had but it was decent for a quick lunch. My husband thought his pizza was ok as well. Ok here is my take on this fast fired pizza. I have been to this location when Maddio's pizza used to be here at the same location. With respect to the restaurant place and location, it is perfect. On the taste of the pizza, it is really good and one downside to the pizza is that they only give one size. It would be better if they could add one more size that is large. This will greatly help when we are ordering for a bigger family. The whole ambiance of the place is hip. From waiting in line to getting the final pizza in my hand timing is perfect not too late and not so early. Definitely a competition to other businesses like Uncle Maddios Pizza. My spouse loved the pizza and the quantity they put in the pizza is generous and the staff are very kind and really hear you what you want on the pizza. This was my second time trying this place and I was underwhelmed. My order consisted of the BLT salad, Build your own pizza and a drink. I tried MOD pizza two weeks ago and was sure this place was better. Sadly I was mistaken. The salad was kind of soggy and too wet for my liking. That was the first thing I had and was dissatisfied. Now that hey have been in business for some time, the quality of the food and the customer service are on a sharp decline. Let's discuss my most recent experience. I dropped in for my usual green stripe. It's what I always get. Without fail, the staff FORGETS to put the arugula on the pizza after it gets out of the oven. When I asked for it, I received a response that included rolled eyes and heads. I simply want to receive what I paid for. The staff appeared frustrated when I asked for a bag. I had both a pizza and salad. Another area of concern is that more often than not, the bottom of my pizza is burnt to the point where it affects the taste of the pizza I think it's a sign to just stop trying to have pizza for dinner or lunch. Absolute worst experience I've had at a blaze pizza. This location is terrible. There is 7 workers all doing absolutely nothing, they don't communicate properly, and they let us order things that they didn't even have available in the store, and wait to tell us until after the pizza is already made. Not only that, they charge you for things they don't have as well and don't give you a refund. They are all talking to each other and completely ignoring the customers. I do like that they have a lot of options however I think that the cauliflower crust should not have cheese in it. I could literally taste the difference in the quality of ingredients that were used here. The bread, sauce, and toppings were all fresh. The garlic knots were delish! It costs a little more, but it is worth it for the quality ingredients. I created my own half pizza and combined it with a Greek salad and the knots. This is a really great lunch spot! They fast fire their pizza so it's a quick, quality, tasty lunch. They have many crust options including GF, Cauliflower and keto. I had the gluten free crust and it was good aka it didn't taste like cardboard lol. Also, they politely asked if I wanted them to change their gloves- I didn't even have to ask. The only thing I'd be careful about if you had celiac would be to tell the pizza cutter to use a new pizza roller. Moving on, I don't know if my pizza was in too long or if the crust was absorbent, but almost all my sauce (pesto) was dried up. This has not previously happened with the regular crust. I added roasted red pepper and Italian sausage, I topped it off with arugula and a light balsamic drizzle. I wish there was slightly more cheese on the pizza, but I also didn't speak up and ask for more- maybe because they're moving so fast I was nervous to slow down the line. I enjoyed Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza. I think it's a cool concept, kinda like your Chipotle and your Poke Bars, but where you can make your own pizza instead. The pizza is actually pretty good from a quality perspective. I went during dinner time on a weekend and we did have to wait for quite a while................. Because, there were a lot of people (believe it or not we were ahead of like 10 other people that came in after us), and the kitchen situation seemed a little crazy. I am not sure if they need a bigger fire oven or faster workers. I am guessing both because when I got to the top of the line, there was a stack of pizzas that needed to be fired up and I think that kitchen management could definitely be improved and I think by doing that it could make a difference for this establishment. I believe they should have1 floater employee, like a manager to oversee each work stations, or help out with calling out the orders. The girl who was cutting up and boxing our orders was pretty quiet. She kept on stacking pizzas away, without saying a word, and made us wonder "Is that my pizza?". Let's downgrade this to about 1 star. I've come several times and have had a negative experience but let's focus on my last visit. I walk in, they tell me I have to do curbside because of quarantine, no biggie! I download the app and place my order. I proceed to wait for 35-40 minutes, watching the guy who told me to place my order online deliver to others cars. Finally I decide to go in and my pizza is sitting right there, cold and ready. The same person who told me to order from my car proceeds to tell me that I'm supposed to call when I arrive. For starters, the app does not specify that. I picked up my order 5 minutes ago and their app still says "in progress". Secondly, the person who told me to order from my car passed me and looked me in my eyes at least 3 times while he was delivering other orders. Never did he once have the courtesy to say, "did you place an order?". When I finally walked in and asked about my pizza he said "oh, you supposed to call." You have to be kidding me. What's the point of me entering my car description, if I have to call in anyway? Couldn't i just give you that info over the phone if I'm "supposed to call". So I decided to try out Blaze Pizza on last Wednesday. I was hungry and didn't feel like cooking. I was shocked to see that their pizzas were pretty well priced. I did the create your own pizza, because I wanted to ensure I kept the calories per slice low. I got it down to 160 calories per slice. I opted for a pizza with Keto Crust, red sauces, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni and mushrooms is was amazing. I've been to a few of these type of pizza places and I can now say that Blaze is my new favorite out of them all. Believe me when I say this pizza is super good ! The staff was awesome (at least they were on the day I went) and super helpful. They broke the menu down for us and explained how everything works. Also that day the lady making our pizzas was not very generous with the toppings and loaded my pizza with cheese and pepperoni. They also have salads, although I didn't try them they looked pretty good. The wait wasn't long at all once they popped the pizza in the oven.
