$18.31 for a build your own, and no tip, I'm taking this food to go and am getting sick of tired of there being a default tip. Even restaurants don't do that it's disgusting. I can get two almost three Domino's medium pizza for the price of one Blaze pizza, and I think quality on ingredients is similar Blaze however does have more options. Service was friendly enough young kids working. I just don't see the major appeal to eat-in it's kind of not clean, women's bathroom is out of order, beers are $10. For a quick take home pizza okay, anything more than that I'm going to BJ's across the street where it doesn't feel like I'm being nickel and dimed. Pizza came out same good as always. If the owner can give me a reasonable explanation, why they have automatic electronic tips added during checkout I will be more than happy to change this review to five stars.

Pretty good build your own pizza. I haven't been to a spot like this since pizza press and garage brewing. I sure do miss those pizza joints. Service is good. There's seating inside and outside. They have fountain drinks, and Parmesan, pepper and oregano shakers. I ordered a salad and half pizza. Both were good, I wish the salad had a little less olives. I did my best to try not to put too many toppings on my pizza. I tend to do that and it becomes too heavy and falls apart. The wine was ok. You taste the plastic. I'm not sure if they had a glass for you to pour into. I'd definitely come back despite the wine being a bit off-putting.

Last Friday I was really craving some pizza and figured I'd try out a new place close to me and blaze was that place . Ordered online and that was easy enough and pick up was easy as well. It wasn't until I got home that I was super sad to see my wife's pizza had franks hot sauce on it instead of the hot honey, that was upset #1. I then open mine and it was correct but it just looked blah, I don't know how else to describe it. I was hoping the taste would blow me away but it just made me more sad . It was just a floppy , uncooked all the way pizza . For the price of these expensive pizzas I was hoping for some top tier . The only thing we really enjoyed was the cookie and smore pie . I won't be back but that's ok, it's not for everyone .

I came here at 5pm on the Saturday after the Fourth of July. The crust was crispy, and the cheese was pull-y. Where I think these pizzas stand out is the tomato sauce and the number of toppings afforded. The spicy sauce is indeed very delicious and spicy, and you can get unlimited toppings for $15.99. This is definitely a top pick amongst pizza chains.

It's gone while I close eyes once.

Nice pizza. Not salty...so goooood. But more topping for free. And so fast making. Now price up...1 pizza 15bucks. Small for me.

This location is located at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall. I stopped by to get some pizzas to-go after shopping. I was there around lunch time. It was busy and the line moved slowly. It was also very hot inside. They have indoor and outdoor seating but it was hot outside too. The employees were nice. I like that you can customize your pizza here. I enjoyed the pizza.

Update: Read the 1 & 2 & 3 star reviews to know why to avoid this places. No clue if the 4 stars are fake reviews or not, but no way this place legit has this high a rating. I Did ask asked per response on my review from 'owner' and still zero response all this time later. Zero customer service. Must be an automated response on Yelp to say message us and we will making things right just to do absolutely nothing. 3 years being their customer and it's been 3 years of bad customer service for decent pizza. Way too many other places to choose from that has great pizza AND great customer service. To add insult to injury, they changed their app and deleted all my points. Lost the free pizza and was 2 pts away from free cheesy bread I'd saved up for. That 58 could have also gone towards a free drink or dessert. Was told do these steps and they will put pts back on. I've done the steps 3 times now. Nada. Another email telling me to do even more steps and give them the date the first time I've signed in to their app.... Who remembers that?! the date the first time I've signed in to their app... what?! It wasn't this major event that yielded I mark my calendar to celebrate each year lol. And this was not part of the process. This was an added step they've added to this crazy process just last email. A lot of work for a place that stays unkept with tables and chairs customers must clean themselves before sitting, repeatedly new workers who do not know how to work the register (last time three workers couldn't figure out how to fix the register issue and it took so long that my order of two pizzas were ready and there I still stood waiting at the register. I paid and wanted a receipt. She'd taken my money and transaction was complete but no receipt so they put it all in the register again and expected me to pay... again. No, that's not how that works. So no receipt, and they still were figuring out if I needed to pay again... what? Thankfully the lady who I paid kept saying I already paid and transaction was complete but I just wanted a receipt to get the pts for rewards. Still no receipt, no rewards, and the other workers remained confused and fought the register saying the register is always having issues. I asked if I could please get my food so my family could eat while they figure out how to get me my receipt. She said go ahead but they hesitated as if to make me stand there longer... our food has been ready. Blaze pizza gets cold really fast, you gotta eat it in the moment or it's NOT tasty at all. And it's not good reheated at all. They finally all okayed me getting my food I'd already paid for. We ate and still no receipt. And no dessert either. I asked and they didn't know what to do. I'd gotten a dessert using my rewards. They couldn't pull up my transaction and as you know and they know... no receipt. She remembered I ordered a dessert but couldn't prove it. So I scanned my rewards again. It took so long for them to give me the dessert that's already prepared btw, that my family went on to the car. It was such an annoying experience. It was around 15 mins... that's a long wait for something already prepared. My family never wants to return. They said it's not that good and there's always an issue with the register. It's been dirty every visit and workers look as unhappy as the customers. I like the pizza, I like the set up. In Kentucky it's a wonderful experience and was our favorite pizza place. We'd go weekly there. I keep trying to retry this place every so many months since moving to SoCal... we are repeatedly disappointed. What happened Blaze? Did y'all sell out? Is it no longer family owned? Y'all had such a good thing going. Turns out they did. Sadly. Someone famous bought it and it went downhill since. Sad. Still waiting on my pts to be fixed... turns out they are having issues internally nationwide on top of the in store register issues so it may take a long while to fix it. Still no one is addressing any of the other issues. This location also will not honor any discounts or deals. Nada. Even deals blaze emails you. Nada. They will not give any of the blaze discounts via app nor email etc. They said manager told they to say no to any offers. Full price is all that's available at this location per manager.

They are a make-your-own-pizza place but just ok. We got here pretty late at night and it was empty. The guys manning the counter were a little bit confused about our orders, but we got them right at the end. I ordered the half and half signature bbq chicken with fast fired meatballs and my husband ordered the signature carnivore pizza. Both pizzas were just ok, nothing great to write home about but the carnivore was better than the chicken. I think I expected the meatballs to be fried because it said fast fired, but they were just regular meatballs. This ended up being a lot of food, so we took some home. The meatballs tasted better the next day when they were heated more. I was hopeful of this place delivering good pizza since we live within walking distance, but it is just average.

What's happened to Blaze Pizza? First time back in over a year and prices are way way up and the condition of restaurant is way way down. Look at these pics taken Sep 2025. Only one bathroom operational.

I had a draft pilsner, and my husband had a key lime martini which was delicious! Neither too sweet or too tart. We were seated inside in a booth by a window with a gorgeous view of the Pacific. They also have a lovely patio, but we opted for inside due to the heat. Our server, Micheline, immediately made us feel comfortable with great recommendations. The starters came out faster than we expected and were excellent. The mushroom dip was not what we expected. It was thick & rich with a little heat. Very yummy! It was served with fried bread that made a great vehicle for sopping it up. We got one wedge salad (which they split for us). Very fresh, crisp veggies. Generous servings of cheese & bacon. My hubby who does not normally like ranch dressing enjoyed it as much as I did. Our entrees came out quickly as well. I got the sea bass. It was cooked perfectly. The sauce was rich & had a kick. My husband raved about his cioppino as some of the best he's had. Throughout the meal, Micheline was attentive without hovering, joked with us, and made us feel truly welcome. She raised an already outstanding meal to new heights. We didn't have room for dessert, so we'll have to visit again to try out the sweets. The entire experience from the bar to the final check was phenomenal. We will be back and will recommend it to all our friends.

Happy and knowledgeable and so much fun... She clearly loves her job! She was so attentive to us, we felt like we were the only diners there. :-) And she really knows her stuff! Pretty hilarious when we found out that my name is JILL, too, as we rarely meet many JILLs. We hit it off famously! Family-Friendly Escape Near Legoland…read more While staying at the nearby Legoland Hotel, a few of us moms decided to sneak away from our husbands and kids for a quick break, and this place was a fantastic find! It features a variety of food stalls serving fresh, high-quality dishes, which was a very welcome break from the typical fried hotel food. With options ranging from pizza and fried chicken to a great selection of Asian cuisines like Thai and Chinese, it is an easy way to accommodate different tastes within a family or across multiple families. I especially loved the fresh, piping-hot dishes (we got the pad see ew) from the Thai food stall paired with a delicious cocktail from the central bar. Before heading back, we also grabbed some mini donuts to bring to the kids. The space is incredibly accommodating, with plenty of indoor seating options including bar tables, cozy booths, and standard tables. On top of that, they have several arcade games on-site, making this a highly viable and fun dining option for families with kids. Would recommend as a viable option if you're in the area.

Well, if you're hungry but can't exactly decide how to satisfy that hunger, just follow the windmill to the Windmill Food Hall. That's what we did and were soon face-to-face with fourteen different food vendors, ranging the ethnic gamut from Thai to Chinese to Sushi to Burgers to Lobster to Pizza to Mexican and pretty much anything your hungry little heart craves. Our party of three scattered into three directions and reunited at a table for our eclectic lunch. My wife went with meatballs from Cacio because Craft Pizza didn't sell slices, just a 12" pizza. My brother-in-law went with a Honey Walnut Shrimp plate from Secret Sauce Wok, and I went with sushi and miso soup from Rolled Up Sushi. I loved my lunch, starting with a nice flavorful Miso Soup ($5) that was served in a coffee cup! My eight Spicy Tuna Rolls ($14) were most definitely spicy. Now, since I love spicy food I was thrilled because 98% of the spicy tuna rolls I've had over the years are ho-hum on the old spiciness meter. Not these. The food hall was packed, and we saw many families having lunch there. Kids were all over, including some uniformed sports teams. The kids were also at the many video and arcade games on the premises, while bigger kids were entertaining themselves at Windmill's big bar. What a fun place for a fun food experience.

One thing they absolutely deserve praise for is the events. Like Jurassic Beach (which I saw on the Instagram page) was such a cool idea, and the light shows have been awesome too. Those kinds of events make camping here even more memorable, especially for families, and you can tell a lot of effort goes into putting them together. I've also noticed the store itself starting to feel more like a camp store again. Seeing more Carlsbad and beach themed merchandise instead of all the Sasquatch stuff is a nice change. It gives the place more of that cozy campground feel that so many people loved about the original store. That being said, it still feels like the store is very focused on attracting outside visitors rather than mainly serving the campers who are staying here. The music and events can also be a little overwhelming at times, especially when you're looking for a quieter campground experience. Overall, I'm happy to see the changes that have been made. The Camp Store is not exactly like the old one yet, but it is definitely heading in the right direction. Keep listening to the feedback instead of criticizing the reviews and continue to bring back that classic camp store feeling, because I really think this place can become something special again.

We love the taco combo as you can try a shrimp taco and a fish taco. The meats are very tender and flavorful and filling. Surprisingly, they also have a sashimi platter with lots of pieces which is worth the price but the rice as a side dish is kind of pricy.... Just cook your own rice if possible.

3.5 stars Stopped by…read morePelly's Fish Market & Cafe for lunch on a Monday afternoon. There was a decent weekday crowd, with the restaurant about 60% occupied when we arrived. Ordered the Small Boston White Clam Chowder ($6.99), 3 Piece Fish & Chips with fries ($21.99), and the Sea Bass Plate ($25.99) which came with two sides - opted for Spanish rice and black beans. The clam chowder was just okay and nothing particularly special. The sea bass with garlic butter was a little bland and definitely needed some hot sauce or tartar sauce for extra flavor. The Spanish rice also tasted like it had been sitting out for a while and was a little dry. I did appreciate that the black beans came topped with some cheese and were served in a little tostada bowl - a nice touch. The fish and chips were hands down the best thing we ordered. The fish had a super crispy batter and the fries were crispy as well. Definitely the standout of the meal. Pelly's is located in a shared plaza with Ralphs, so there are plenty of parking spaces available. Both indoor and outdoor seating and it's a counter-service setup where you order at the counter and they'll bring the food out to your table.

TINLEAF FRESH KITCHEN @ CARLSBAD…read more Parking is very tight, and it does get extremely busy since this place is shared with a bunch of other businesses and restaurants. That said, it's honestly a good kind of busy, the complex is super lively, and I absolutely love that vibe. I'd definitely recommend trying to find parking as quickly as you can, but we were able to snag a spot within about five minutes. I like how easy the set up is, you walk in, look at the menu, order and pay right away, then sit wherever you'd like while the food is brought out to you. Overall, the food quality was pretty decent. My family and I ordered family-style and tried a variety of items, including their salads, a mushroom plate, and the salmon. Everything was really good, although the salmon was a bit overcooked. I especially loved the fries that came with the salad. One thing I really liked is that they offer a lot of different combinations, so you can do something like half a sandwich with a soup or salad, or mix and match depending on what you're craving. They also have a convenient water station in the back corner, which is super handy. There's also an outdoor patio area, and it's such a cute spot, perfect for lounging with a drink, sandwich, or appetizer. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a quick lunch with friends. The vibe feels much more lunch-focused than dinner, and the staff was super friendly. There were also a lot of to-go orders while we were there, so it's clear this place is very popular.
