2 stars because my partner liked her pizza the first time. Usually, I LOVE Blaze. First time trying out this location a few days ago, they boxed up the wrong pizza for her and didn't even cut mine... like at all. She ended up with correct order and loved it. Mine fell short but she loved hers so much, we went back today. This time using the app to order.... half the toppings on mine were missing and hers was slathered in garlic pieces. Like... you couldn't tell where the cheese began and the garlic ended. I love Blaze but I think I'll be staying away from this location. read more

I specifically ordered from their menu so that nothing could possibly go wrong with my order! Third time this has happened to me. I ordered to green stripe, which is suppose to come with green pesto and arugula! I specifically just added items to my pizza. I had one very dry pizza with no arugula and no pesto sauce. I added buffalo as a finished topping and I didn't get that item either. I also order a cheese pizza, because what can possibly go wrong with a cheese pizza. What happened, Blaze? Came here starving and was looking forward to a well-crafted pizza. Instead, I got a bland pizza with somewhat old veggies and a stinky turkey meatball crumbled. Let me elaborate: the arugula was yellow-green, the mushroom were very bruised, and the spinach was frail and sticky together from I don't know what. It also didn't help that the lady making my pizza was rude and was so skimpy with toppings. When someone asks for mozzarella cheese only, please put a normal amount of cheese. You could see the red sauce still. And believe me, I don't even like cheese that much! Just wanted a normal serving! Pizza also came out burnt... will not be returning. Here's a tip: If you want to run a successful pizza franchise, don't be like this location. Here we go. So it's Pi Day (3/14). Me, my dad, my mom and grandma (both of whom are disabled) are driving around looking for a bite to eat, as folks tend to do. We spotted Blaze's pizza offer ("$3.14 Pizzas All Day") and thought we'd stop by. Unfortunately, the ADA-compliant ramp in front of their business was blocked by their Pi Day line (with cones and yellow tape), so we decided to drop the ladies off at a seating area nearby. The wait time was 40-45 minutes, and I was completely ok with that. What I wasn't okay with was how they handled the actual crafting of the pizza. As soon as we tried to order our pizzas, we were stonewalled with "only one pizza per guest". Hmm, I didn't see anything that said that. The employee then tells me that they have to see the customer in order to verify. No worries! I've got FaceTime™. The employee saw my mom and grandma at the seating area and okayed our order. This is where things started to get tricky. I had three (3) employees asking me what I wanted on all the pizzas, at the same time (talk about rushed service). They were talking over each other, and not respecting the assembly line. Then the veggie station employee asked me not once, not twice, but 36 times (once I started counting) whether I wanted anything else. Yes, this huge list of toppings which I can't get through because you keep asking me if I want anything else after every. Single. Vegetable. Topping. I sat through that for four pizzas. It was a nightmare. If that was a nightmare, the cashier's desk was the fifth level of Hades. Once we arrived, it took 10 minutes for Shy to ring us up. $30. I'm no master of math, but the product of Pi and Four is nowhere near 30. Now, the story goes from "must see the customer" to "customer must be in line". We explain our side, and she says she needs to get a manager. Unfortunately, this sort of went out the window as she was trying to determine who told us it was okay to get four pizzas. We remind her to get the manager. She completely ignores our request. Thankfully, a dude on the line okay'ed us and we were able to pay the Pi Price. So the whole ordeal is done, and the manager finally comes out. We try to ask for a corporate contact number and Jocelyn says that she doesn't know it. We try to ask for her business card or contact information, and she tells us that she doesn't have any of those details. In fact, she tells us she's new. What kind of person puts a single new manager for the busiest day of the year? Management excellence has to come from the top. It's Pi Day. You're most likely gonna be operating at a loss. Not once did I see any customer upsold on drinks, salads, desserts, or add-ons for the pizza (like, *cough* high-rise dough). Their assembly line and cashier antics definitely wasted way more labor than they should've, and the "one pizza per guest" limit wasn't posted anywhere except for the cashier's desk, once you're totally done with the pizza. That's a food cost/customer comp risk and shows lack of planning on the management's part. Oh, and after all of that our pizzas were undercooked. The cheese wasn't even melted. Great job. read more

Bad service! Whoever the girl who served me was, she had a terrible attitude. Unfortunately I don't know her name because she wasn't wearing a name tag, but I could identify her by the black tattoos that go down her right arm. Made an extremely sloppy job of my pizza and wasn't even looking at it when she was putting toppings on it so it was all here there and everywhere. Had to ask multiple times for her to put more. Very blunt unwelcoming responses to literally everything I said, but to her credit she at least offered me a water cup in the end. Would take some effort to convince me to visit this location again. Fortunately for them the pieology off of Carson was closed due to construction, so this one time they got my business. Likely the last $18.29 I spend here. read more

I dislike how they no longer have their 2 large 2 topping or 1 large 1 topping pizza specials. During quarantine we ordered frequently online and picked up with little contact. It was convenient and worked great for us. They often burned the pizza which sucked but it was still pretty decent for the price. The personal size pizza is trash and I won't be back unless they bring back their large pizza specials. @Lizzie, Why would I go do more work to provide more detail when I already stated my issues and why I won't be returning? If Blaze Pizza really cared about their customers satisfaction they would take the feedback provided and make improvements or possibly do a little more work on your end to make notation of what issues were provided. To me it's a fake response to make it look like Blaze is interested in improvement. There's way too much competition out there to give my business. This place is good when I need a quick pizza fix. Like if I'm going to grab a pizza to go real fast. I think sometimes this place can get packed, but I still enjoy having them custom make a pizza for me, and then grabbing it to go to eat at home! Watch out though, you don't want to overload your pizza. I try to do a combination of veggies. And make sure that when you get your pizza you ask for ranch or dipping sauce! read more

Fraud!!!! Do not call the number associated to the store on yelp or blazw online website. I just got scam! Do not trust yelp! My order was taken by phone not from blaze but a third party. I gave the person my card info and went to the store to pick up the food. The person who took my order never submitted the order to the store but took my card info, gave me the total and pick up time. But it was all a scam! I called back and got two diff workers which were not helpful or knowledgeable. They gave me a false number to management and the 2nd representative hung up on me after explaining what happened. We love coming here, the staff is friendly and courteous BUT they had NO fountain drinks available, hardly any beverages in a can or bottle, the cooler where those types of beverages are kept was filthy with crumbs from the stale cookies and brownies that are displayed above that cooler. The tables outside were dirty and dusty, luckily one of the employees wiped down the table after we asked about it. Overall the cleanliness is why they're getting 2 stars only. read more

Came in to eat at 9:30 pm and female cashier was super rude and told us we could not sit down to eat because the "dining room was closed" despite it being 30min till closing and TWO parties sitting down to eat, and chairs being down on the tables. I gave Blaze another chance since I was contacted by Blaze to reconsider with a free pizza coupon. I visited again on a Sunday, this time later in the evening during the dinner rush. Place was a little more than half full, about 4 people in line in front of me, 1 behind. Toppings area was still a mess but this time their signage was placed appropriately at least. 2 ladies on the front line seemed very nice, smiling and patient with their customers. However the person who assisted me seemed very rushed which made me feel rushed....who likes feeling rushed when you're building your own pizza?! Not me. I think she might be in charge too because she was all over the place....popping pizzas in the oven, flattening dough, yelling for more toppings, asking the other employees if they were okay, and making pizzas when everyone else was busy. It was hard to get names of the employees since some had them on their sleeves (that's new) and the others didn't have them (or maybe they were on other mystery locations, lol). Didn't bother with a drink since this location doesn't have agua frescas (disappointing), but I did order some dough knots for the first time since their display looked yummy. 4 cheesy knots and a side of red sauce is what i was supposed to get....but I got 3 cheesy knots, 1 cheeseless outcast knot and zero sauce. Been craving for pizza the past few days so we decided to go to Blaze. Not wanting to fight our way thru traffic to Pasadena, I checked on Yelp and whaddya know? Blaze in Cerritos? Way nearer. The line was pretty long but I thought it was just because they just barely opened. We waited in the cold outside for maybe 30 minutes till we even got to the door. No sweat. From there, the line moved pretty quickly. The servers were very friendly in spite of the huge # of people they had to serve. Meat-Eaters * comes with pepperoni, crumbled meatballs, red onion, mozzarella, and red sauce however you still have the option to add any ingredient for no added cost. The sausage is really good so of course I had to add it on there. Plus jalapeno and mushrooms and I'm good. S'more pie * great to eat while its still hot, fresh from the oven. Going up to pay, I thought they made a mistake so I reminded the cashier not to forget and charge for the two pizzas. But SURPRISE!!!! Pizzas were free on their opening night! He said, "Why do you think there's a lot of people lining up?" Well, sir. You won't hear any complaints from me, sankyu very much! Definitely will be back. First time here today and I can definitely say I'll be back...probably next week, since it's the closest "build-your-own" pizza place to where I live. It's $7.95 for the "build-your-own" pizza, which is on par with their competitors such as Pieology and PizzaRev. What stood about this place is that the pizzas are ready quicker and for you vegans out there they have VEGAN cheese as an option, just thought I'd let you vegans out there know. The employees here are really friendly and helpful even more so than their competitors, hence, customer service is on fleek lol. And third, I liked the fact that they have to-go boxes out in the open so that you can just walk up and get one without having to ask. The place has like a modern industrial chic ambiance to it, which is becoming pretty prominent but I digress. Bottom line, this place is aesthetically pleasing, poppin', and if you're a fan of build-your-own pizza joints, you do not wanna pass this place up. I'm glad I won't have to go to Pieology in Lakewood or PizzaRev at the Town Center when I'm craving BYO pizza. read more

Love Blaze! This location has a great staff who is really on top of their game, they loved through the lines quickly and my pizza was perfect! I grabbed a salad to go as well and it was fresh and nicely assembled. Prices are more than fair, $8 for each the pizza and the salad, plenty for two meals.
