This location has some issues. I'm used to Blaze workers being friendly and professional. On such a busy day, we didn't expect great service. But a staff member cursing in front of diners and loudly claiming we tried to scam by using 2 coupons has made me hesitant to ever come back. We got our pizza deal for Pi Day. We tried to do a separate transaction for our free drink coupon (does not require purchase) and were turned down by the cashier twice. The manager was friendly and remedied the situation, but afterwards the staff member loudly explained we were trying to trick her somehow by getting back in line. I'm honestly so upset with this experience. She walked by us and yelled across the room that there was a man outside "handing out coupons for free shit." This type of behavior is not okay. Even in a casual pizza place, customer service should be a standard. The manager was kind and treated us well, but the rest of the staff rushed customers along and honestly didn't care at all. My feelings about Blaze changed from positive to wanting to avoid this place for good. Please hire people who respect their work place and the people eating there. The manager tried his best to fix the situation but his employees were so comfortable being unprofessional in the environment that it ruined an experience for multiple people. Other Blaze locations do not treat people this way. The food is good, so the stars reflect the quality of the food itself. read more

Fast casual meets pizza at Blaze- pick your crust then top it with unlimited toppings for about 9 bucks. Or pick from one of their Signature Pizzas for the same price. I like a thicker crust so I went with the High-Rise, which is two of their regular crusts mashed together before baking in their open oven. The ingredients they had were fresh and a decent selection. What I appreciated most was how many vegan options they had- BCS is definitely big on its meats so this was refreshing. After waiting about 8-10 minutes, completely reasonable, I went to get my pizza. But it wasn't mine. Somehow the labels got mixed up and the worker pulling pizzas from the oven became quite overwhelmed. Did I mention there were only a handful of other people at the venue? I worry what the experience would be like if there was an actual rush. The pizza itself was good. I enjoyed the flavor and texture of the dough. And the toppings tasted great- literally ordered all the garlic things. Great call, 10/10 would recommend. Only issue with dining in and sitting in their booths: your food will get cold quickly. The air vents blow directly on the tables. Although I enjoy a cold pie, I prefer it as leftovers. read more

I LOVE Blaze Pizza! They let me select ALL the toppings I like and don't give me a hard time! I get like 8 toppings and 5 cheeses and three sauces and it's FABULOUS!!! It takes a little longer to cook, but they are always patient with me. We walked in and thought it felt a little hot (cooler from outside though). We thought it was just the open fire and it would be cooler in the back around the corner. We were wrong... evidently the AC was out and we sweated through our meal. We ordered a Caesar salad and received Caesar dressing on top of spinach with some crouton. We also ordered the carnivore pizza and cheesy bread. Both of those are were excellent. The cheese bread was done about 4 minutes after the pizza and they called us up there to get it. We really felt that with so many standing behind the counter doing nothing, the dude could have walked it the 10 feet over to us. I recently picked up the DIY pizza kit while I was visiting my sister in College Station. We placed the order online and it was super easy. We picked 7 toppings including red onion, meatball, pepperoni, artichoke, chicken, roasted garlic and one other one I can't remember. We got the family size which comes with 4 pieces of dough, flour, toppings, plus a sauce (we chose white) and drizzle (we chose pesto) of your choice. There's a youtube video that you can watch to learn how to prepare your pizza. This pizza tasted SO GOOD! It was the best pizza I've ever made at home. 12-14 min in the oven and it was cooked PERFECTLY. I absolutely loved this pizza. It was so easy to make and was perfection. We went to this place pizza on December 21 around 3:00 p.m. there were two workers and it seemed through their body language that they were intentionally taking their time to annoy the customers waiting. For example they would put it on the gloves really slowly I'm talking about maybe almost 30 second per each hand. I just got this vibe that they didn't like to be working here or they were very unhappy. Secondly one of the mail workers he was wearing a baseball cap with the marijuana printed. Don't get me wrong I am not against cannabis but it definitely portrays the wrong message. Secondly the room temperature inside was very warm. I don't know if management is hard to blame or if it's just the workers having a bad attitude. Long story short we waited almost about 5 minutes in line and we took off. The bartenders actually placed those ingredients neatly, and carefully make them evenly distributed to entire pizza. The pizza taste really good and I also love the dessert s'mores pie! Yikes. Went back after two months since first trying this place, and while I still appreciate that I can enjoy a pizza that has no dairy or gluten, the service was actually worse. I ordered over the phone, (high-five to the friendly call center guy, Ray!) and was told it'd be ready at 8:15. We show up at 8:15, no pizza. No big deal, we'll wait. Forty-five minutes later, and it's clear whatever system they have for keeping track of orders and getting them out speedily, just doesn't exist. Pizzas are getting mixed up, remade, taking forever to be assembled and cooked, and then handed to the wrong people. I almost walked off with someone else's pizza, and I've got allergy issues to watch out for. The servers are frazzled and frustrated, and the whole setup just seems like a confused mess. Management would do well to help train their employees a little better and develop a system of better efficiency. --- Those with dairy and gluten allergies, rejoice! You CAN have a great-tasting, allergy-friendly pizza in B/CS, and all things considered, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg! The setup of Blaze is a fast-casual restaurant: You get in line, your pizza is prepared along an assembly line (you can customize your pizza or order one of the house specials), cooked in a fiery open oven for a few minutes, and your order is up. Service was....pretty OK. It's clear they're still working out some training things, (hence the 4 stars) but overall they were smiling and competent. Oh, and the pizza? Great, and like I mentioned, not terribly priced! Two pizzas, one with all the "allergy-friendly" additions I needed, plus a $5 (?!) Shiner, and our total was around $26, before tip. Great pizza with amazing price! It was super crowded whenever we went so took a little while but once you order your pizza, it doesn't take long. The most amazing thing is that you can get however many toppings you want! Including meats! We could only finish half of our pizzas because it was so filling. They also have great drink options. Delicious, thin crust, fast fired pizza with unlimited toppings. I really enjoyed this place. They also have keto and cauliflower crust options which really work for me. It's also so easy to order ahead online or in their app then go in & grab it making it convenient!! This location is also in Century Square so you can sit in the grass & eat it on a nice day which is nice! I feel like there has never been a horrible wait as well & it always just depended on how busy the restaurant was, which is expected but even on Pi day when they do their $3.14 11inch pizza, they still had the pizzas ready when they said they would!
