The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has an upbeat vibe. The patio is welcoming and the bar looks fun and inviting. The service was great and our server was attentive throughout. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars, was that I just not crazy about Tex-Mex Mexican food. That's not the restaurant's fault. A lot of people do. And to be fair, it is called Gringos Tex-Mex. I don't much care for queso on tostada's or enchilada's. My preference is New Mexico style with fresh made enchilada sauce and hatch chili's. That said, what gringo's did, they did well. I had a tostada and taco. I thought the taco was good. The tostada was different to me. There was a very thin layer of beans on the tostada, seasoned with what tasted like taco meat seasoning. I didn't care for that very much. Also there was a lot of of lettuce on the tostada. Too much to eat. The Fajita bowl was good and worth ordering again. I like the way it was smothered in real (not processed) cheese. The bottom line is that Gringo's is a fun place to dine with friends. The atmosphere is awesome and the service is good. If you like Tex-Mex style Mexican food (which most do in the neck of the woods), then your experience will probably be 5-Star. read more

The pork tamale was really good, and the cheese enchilada was pretty good. The standards of chips, salsa, pico were all good, not great. This is a pretty standard Tex-Mex chain.
