Great range of toppings and customization and to top it all reasonable price

I really love the food here, especially the margherita pizza. I'm not crazy about the atmosphere though. It is always extremely loud inside.

So far my experience at this Blaze Pizza was amazing. Everyone was friendly and kindly making sure I was satisfied with my visit. I received my BBQ Chicken with in a few minutes after paying. Props to Chris made me feel welcome and happy with the service. read more

Pizza is always good at Blaze and you get to build your own but I did not expect to be rushed, while selecting my toppings, especially if there are only 3 people in line. When it was time to pick up my pizza, the person serving me was rude and dismissive and the bad service didn't end there. When the same staff member was cleaning the tables and arranging the chairs, she grabbed a chair in a violent way and pulled a chunk of my hair with it from behind me. When I reacted to the pain, she said she was sorry. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I accepted that it could have been an accident but it didn't feel like an accident. About 20 minutes later, the same lady was slamming the chairs very loud and throwing them on top of each other. She continued to do so even though the customers felt threatened. My friend and I have never experienced anything like that before. What is usually a nice environment turned out to be a hostile environment. The place itself is not bad but the lady was being so unprofessional and displayed violent behavior that most of the people that were there just looked at her and then left. If the restaurant wants people to leave, they can say that it will be closing soon instead of causing a scene and making people feel threatened. read more

Unacceptable... cashier was rude. Felt her stupid energy hating life and working there... forgot her name but she threw a bitch face when requesting arugula and extra ranch.. other then that my pizza was what I wanted it to be but they forgot to also cut my damn pizza!!! We loved this place from anyway pies you want to great salads and sodas, wine and beers. Also... I just have to say that every time I or we come to this location, the ambience, cleanliness and quality combined with excellent customer service is just outstanding. The girl with the (mona lisa hat), she's a great asset to that store. We have visited different locations and so far we have experienced the best here. She is on everything from helping associates, making the dough, taking orders, building your pizzas, cashier and cleaning tables and counters too. A great new concept. A pizza made right in front of you! The price is good too - under $ 7 for a personal pizza. The crust is very thin and tasty. The toppings and sauces are great too. We tried the 'BBQ chicken' and 'Veggie' and both were good. They also serve beer. Sides include salads. The service is okay - in fact one of the workers dropped one of our pizzas and they gave us a coupon for a free pizza for the next time. Would definitely go back. The only word of warning - it is not for 'heavt eaters' - the quantity is not enough - you will need 2-3 pizzas to fill up. read more

My favorite is the Green Stripe pizza! It doesn't get any easier or faster than this, the pizza is great and the thin crust makes for a light meal. My hat's off to these guys for their gluten-free pizza dough, which is very hard to find, and they make it taste really good. keep it up! read more

This is a terrific place! Quick service and great food. Prices are right too. Here's a good sign. They used to limit your sauce/meat combo to 3, but given that so few probably take advantage of this, they've already just made it simple pricing for basically "whatever you want". When I feel like a pizza in Pasadena, this its the first place that comes to mind :) Very good pizza, made "subway style" just how you like it, and very tasty! I always get a "build your own" pizza, so I pick my own ingredients. I highly recommend asking for "ovolini" mozzarella instead of their regular shredded mozzarella. Definitely one of the best pizzas in town, probably the best value. They lost one star because recently they started being pretty stingy with ingredients: I ask for salami, and I get only 4 slices, then I ask for artichokes, and I literally get 1.5 artichoke slices? They'll give you more if you ask, but I don't like always having to ask. Again, the pizza is great, so I still come here regularly, and I still recommend this place to anyone. read more

First of all, the pizza here is pretty good. I've been here once in person and twice with the online ordering system. Coming her in person was good because it was out first time and the girl starting us off was great and patient with us. HOWEVER, coming here to pick up pizza after you've ordered online, is a huge pain. I've done the online ordering twice and both times, I did not get my pizza at the promised time. The online ordering is meant to be convenient so when I come in at the promised time, I'd be met with my pizza so I don't have to wait. What's the point of offering this service when i come in at the specified time and my pizza is still getting toppings put on or just going in the oven? If you tell me my pizza will be ready at that time, I fully expect to pick it up when I come and go home. If I wanted to wait, i wouldn't have ordered my pizza online. Also, on both these occasions, I was met with a somewhat rude Hispanic girl who is always there cutting the pizzas at the pick up counter. Not only does she ignore you even when she's not doing anything, she's rude when asked a question. If you don't wanna answer questions, don't work in customer service. That's just a given. read more

This place has awesome pizza!! If you love Pizza hut, Dominoes etc. then this may not be the place for you. This is a very thin crust brick oven pizza. You get as many topping as you like and they have great options like arugula and pesto. Great pizza at a great price. This is like the pizza I had in Italy. There is arugula you can pick at the end. The pizza is fast fire and cooked in 3 min. My kids love the cheese free, vegan pizza. There isn't even oil on the paper that the pizza was placed on! The employees seem to rush the customer. I understand they have other customers to tend to but what I experienced was ridiculous. They need to slow down a bit and pay attention to the customer. The person preparing my order also did not pay attention to what I was asking to put on my pizza. She probably needs additional training. When I asked to some spinach on my pizza, she literally grabbed a large bunch and dumped it on the pizza... I had to remind her that I had asked for some spinach not an entire heap of it. read more

Been here a few times. Depending on the person making to pizza the amount of each topping varies and the bottom may get a little burnt. But that what makes each pie its own. But the last time I when I ordered and ran to target and when I got back my pizza was gone. Of course they remade it but no that was it. No coupon no free drink while I wait. Blaze pizza is the chipotle of pizza. Pick from their preset list or create your own! Want spicy red sauce? Check! Want to put every meat under the sun on it? Check! No extra cost! (There are a few things, gluten free crust that costs extra - but most doesn't!). Always happy with the food. It comes quick and tastes great! The service is good as well. My only critique would be that the people who give you the pizza when it's done are frequently giving out either the wrong pizza or an empty box with no pizza in it. So you really have to keep an eye on your pizza or it gets lost! read more

This is my first time here at the Pasadena location and oh my god the service is fast and friendly here! I came here on a Wednesday night and the place was a bit packed. I ordered their new high rise pizza (a double crust dough) and piled a bunch of veggies and meats on top. It was delicious and tasted amazing!! I will definitely be coming back. For being the Flagship location it should be top notch but it has gone downhill imo. Visited last Wednesday around 3:00 and it was pretty quiet. About 10 staff behind the counter chatting amongst themselves but took a while to actually take our order. Plus the appearance was sloppy. For an $8 pizza there are better options with lots of competition within the city. If I do go to Blaze it is now the La Canada location. read more
