Pizza Man is located at 1306 East Colorado Boulevard Pasadena, California 91106. It is a short walk from the busy corner of Hill Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. Pasadena City College is also within walking distance. This area is a great place to enjoy California weather. This business location is easy to find walking or driving. When I walked in I was immediately hit with the aroma of flavorful food. This is a nice cozy pick up and carry business. After walking by some tables and chairs, I made my way to the counter. A staff member greeted me and requested my order. I was able to ask some questions about the types of food that they had available. They are known to have a great selection of pastas and sandwiches as well as their ever popular pizza and Chicken Wings. I decided to order a medium Meat Lovers Pizza and Chicken Wings with blue cheese dressing on the side. The first piece of pizza had great coverage of meat and cheese. The toppings had a great aroma as I unpacked each piece from the box. The crust was done to my instructions...a little crisp with a little crunch. I was impressed. Next I tried the chicken wings and was happy to see that they were plump and looked done right. Both the drumsticks and the flats had great flavor even without the dipping sauce. The chicken wings were moist and tender. I look forward to stopping back in to experience their sandwiches and salads. Parking is available on the side street. Horrible experience I had today. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I received a breaded chicken sandwich. I went back to have it redone. The guy there said he only had one type of sandwich and couldn't do it. So then I said "I want my money back." He said he couldn't give me my money back. I then asked "why?" then he say because he couldn't. I asked to speak to his manager and he said he didn't have a manager. I asked to speak to the owner and he ignored me. I got pretty creepy vibes especially after turning around and seeing a bunch of guys in the store just hanging out but not really eating there. The place also reeked of beer and I don't think they have a liquor license. I asked for my money back again and he ignored me so I left the sandwich there and left. I will never come back to this establishment again and I will never recommend this to any of my friends and clients. I reached out to the owner and I hope I get my money back. Last night was my first time trying this spot & I'm glad I did! My husband had been telling me the pizza here is bomb and he's not wrong! We called in to order for pick up , we ordered 2 pizzas and some wings. The first pizza was half Hawaiian and the other half pepperoni and sausage. The next pizza was half pepperoni and half olives. Our daughter loves olives and she enjoyed multiple slices of this pizza. The Buffalo wings were good . I was happy with our experience and would definitely get food here again. So much so the meat had shrunk and separated from the skin. No juice AT ALL. Individually we all figured "its probably just the piece i have" Until everyone we for seconds and realized it was the whole batch that was like this. Obviously by this point we are on pieces like 8-13 or so. Nearly half way through the chicken. We decided to give the establishment a call and see what if anything could be done considering the amount spent. I just want to be clear (as I have stated in my original review) that we did go back and ask the restaurant to make something else in place of the rotten marinara sauce spaghetti. They did but did not give us a refund. The food was rotten and it can indeed still happen even if it is made from "scratch" especially if the raw ingredients are spoiled or the food is kept improperly. I just have to warn folks, I ordered 6 pizzas two hours in advance and paid for them with a 5:45 delivery time set. Their pizzas are customizable when it comes to toppings and it is plentiful to share with friends and family. We ordered their food through their online menu at 1045am and picked up in person. The only confusing part of their online ordering was when we were trying to set the pick up time. The option they gave was "order time". We wanted to pick up at 12pm, so I figured it would take about 20 minutes to make. We chose 1145am as the order time. After we placed our order, we called the location and asked what it meant. Decent portions and good food, especially for the price! The pizza was delicious and built on a great crust (like the cheese bread). The boneless wings were flavorful and crisp, and the antipasto was full of fresh veggies, cheese, and meat. Our only complaint was slow delivery. Our food arrived about 20 minutes after the online order tracker indicated it would, but the driver was beyond polite. When I walked into Pizza Man, the place was totally empty. That should've been my first clue. The guy making our pizza wasn't exactly friendly. He didn't even greet us when we walked in, and he just stared at us like we were aliens. I had to ask him for the menu. The guy making our pizza wasn't wearing any gloves. The pizza was edible, but I wouldn't say it was worth the price. We won't be going back to Pizza Man. This is for the one in Pasadena on Colorado Blvd. Glendale one was a little better I heard. If you have a sign outside stating that a large pizza with 3 toppings is 12.99 + tax, I expect to pay 12.99 + tax for my pizza. Instead, the cashier tells me that if I order something personalized and not from the select few options, it wouldn't be 12.99$ + tax. He also tells me that if I added a drink, the deal wouldn't be applicable.
