I opted for the $40 option because I wanted to switch out the burgers and sides. I tried first at the kiosk but it wouldn't take my credit card, so ordered at the front. The employee was very nice but he put in my order as just regular char burgers when I wanted to switch out some of them. One of the reasons why I got the $40 is because I wanted different options. He assured me that he would tell the kitchen to switch them out and confirmed with me twice. The order came out pretty quickly and I took it home. I definitely should have checked because the burgers were the regular char burgers, which was frustrating because he had confirmed with me twice. Also, I did get mine well done, which was a mistake, because the burger was almost burnt, definitely will leave them as is next time. I ended up with a decent enough meal and I did contact customer service who were nice about giving me a coupons to replace the burgers I didn't get. I came to this location on June 28, 2025 because I was in the area and I was hungry. I told the cashier that I wanted a charburger meal, an ahi tuna sandwich, and a garden salad. I trusted that the information entered for my order was the same so, I did not double check my receipt. Later, when I looked at the receipt, I realized that I was charged for an ahi tuna meal and the other items were charged separately. I am sure that I ended up paying more. Once I got home and was able to eat, I noticed that the salad was already dying so I did not eat it. It was a long drive to take it back so I waited until the next day. The next day, I took it back and encountered a supervisor named Juan. When I told him about the salad, he did not seem concerned, say I am sorry about the inconvenience, or anything. He just told me that it would be about 5 minutes for another salad. I thought to myself, "Wow!" When it was ready, he just handed to me and that was it. On this occasion I had never been to this location, but I've been to many many habit locations... And this one was rather good as experiences go. I saw one employee going over everything and wiping things down. Then I had to pause and reflect. How did the design of the dining room, the music and even how clean and unscented it smelled. In contrast, just before coming here to the habit I walked into a nearby Burger King. Omg, it had a very unnatural and uncomfortable vibe. Having it your way I guess does not include feeling comfortable in the dining room, nor that I feel comfortable with the wait staff at the counter. I stood there a few minutes before deciding that. I just did not want to eat a Whopper at Burger King. So I went out of my way to head down to the habit. You can see the pictures and the quality and size, the plentiful ingredients and authentic onion rings... Not some kind of crushed up onion shaped exactly identical to every other onion ring like Burger King does? The fact that I get ranch dressing and peppercinos makes me feel at the habit, it's a quality dining experience. At Burger King it just felt low class, and actually burdensome to be there. So why four stars? Well... the first words that come to mind are that shockingly? It's a night and day difference. It's not a vast advantage... But I would say it's a substantial advantage with the habit over Burger King, and even while seated and thinking it over... It gives McDonald's a serious run from the money ... and wins. So why not three stars? Nah, that's for average places that get it right without overachieving. And why not five stars? Five go to places that Excel and go well beyond Simply winning.
