Great pizza and a great concept! Love it here! Its a fun, easy and quick way to grab lunch or dinner. You can't beat the price either. Great for big parties or kids. Restaurant tends to be loud and hectic but otherwise dining room is clean and service is good. read more

I ordered online for pick up during my lunch break. Anyways, I did not get a chance to look at my pizza by the time I got back to office and they forgot 2 ingredients on pizza: pepperoni and chicken. I understand if I ordered on the phone and the person would not be able to hear me, but this was online, where a list would be printed. Also, when I got there, it was chaotic, not by customers, but unprofessional employees. Lunch rush was over, I arrived around 2:15. There were employees chatting over the drink machines, chatting at pizza station, chatting over the tables. it was a lot of chatting when working..I was trying to get a drink and had to like shout so they can move. Oh, my office is like 5 mins away, although I did not want to drive back for my 2 missing ingredients, to make matters worst, my pizza was soggy. I rather have ordered papa johns or Domino's which are completely different categories, but stick with 800 degrees and pieology if you want personalize pizza. read more

I found Blaze pizzeria to be a pretty good pizza place with quality food and fast-fired service. My second time visiting was on "pi day" while they were selling pizzas for $3.14. I figured this would be a perfect time to sample some of their signature pizzas. The only disappointment was in finding that only the first pizza was specially priced, and all additional were regular price. Anyway, I decided on two signature pizzas since I wanted to see what the signature pairings were like. While the pizzas were good and flavorful, they did however lack an exotic or excellent quality. The pairings of artichoke and ricotta were good, but I feel that I could have concocted my own toppings and had a more flavorful pizza. I could be wrong but I feel that artichoke would have paired better with a green sauce and garlic. With these examples I also understand why some people consider pizza to be more of an appetizer than a entrée. But it is still good, and the best bet here is to choose your own custom toppings. I love Blaze. I'm here so often that I wish they had punch cards :D I usually get the one topping with artichoke and sea salt because it's great priced and I can write it off as somewhat healthy. There's always a long line (because it's so good) but the pizza cooks fast, and you can order online if you're in a rush. read more

So let me start by saying the reason for only three stars is the staff. I love the pizza and the location looked great. I ordered online today to take home so I could watch the start of football season. In the comments I asked "start cooking the pizzas now so they are ready for pick up." Needless to say they were not ready, or even started, when I arrived. When asked if I could do anything differently it was suggested I note "fire immediately" in the comments. See above. I was then given the reason why pizzas are not fired until the customer arrives, is to keep them fresh and hot. I knew all that and figured since I was taking home it was not an important factor in my case. See above. To her credit she apologized. However, when I noted if I would have to wait 10 or 15 minutes she noted "no, only about 2 minutes." And that's where I confirmed she did not really care about me and my situation. As I stepped back from the counter I noted a que at least 10 deep. I started my timer on my phone. 8 1/2 minutes later she called me up with my two pizzas. She offered free drinks to me in what I believe an acknowledgement that she did nothing to help me. No thanks. Even as I commented to her about my on line experience she was already ignoring me and working the next order. Listen don't make thinks worse by saying wait times are shorter than they really are. Secondly, if you know you have missed something, see comments or "2 minutes," fix it. Don't just let everything continue on as usual. Corporate or the online programmers do share responsibility for today's mishap. If there if no way for your staff to read the comments when ordering online that is asking for trouble. The Pizzas Great great great. Both tasted fresh and warm when I got home. Just as expected from Blaze. The Location See above. The Service See above. Corporate, fix your online process to allow for immediate pick up. Sometimes time matters more than a "hot pizza." Btw invoice #1509131002210017 ordered for the Pasadena, CA location. A manger contacted me wanting to discuss what I wrote above. He apologized and indicated he would speak to the location manager. He then asked if he could give me free pizza vouchers and of course I said yes. As I mention above I love their food and I acknowledge it could have been an off day for the person who was sub par. I appreciate the fact corporate does appear to care for my experience. In my book that is a well run customer service company. So happy to have real pizza on gluten free crust. This is like the Subway of Pizza - you can have whatever you want, and there's a lot of freedom in that. The clerks are very friendly and helpful. I will be back and highly recommend. My only comment is that I feel like $3 extra for Gluten Free is a little pricey - should be $2. read more

The gluten free crust is really good & even folds like a regular pizza crust. (I like it much better than the GF crust at The Luggage Room, which is like pizza on a cracker that falls apart when you try to pick it up.) I also have to give them props for customer service. After creating my "Build Your Own" masterpiece, my pizza slithered off my plate onto the floor. I wasn't that hungry, so I decided not to get another, but the next day I was really craving that pizza! The manager remembered me and without prompting gave me 50% off my pizza. Truly the Subway Sandwich of the pizza world. Went here with a party of five and five people walked away completely unsatisfied. I'm not talking portion size, because that's the one thing they have going for them. But flavor and design is seriously lacking. We all ordered different pizzas and the most universal comment was how completely bland their pizza dough is. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza and chose a few of the vegetable add-on options which was the second place they went wrong. These vegetable ingredients were fresh but they didn't get cooked in the 2 minute 800 degree oven so my pizza had cold crunchy green bell peppers on it that would have tasted great in a salad but not on top of a warm pizza. And then they forgot the bbq sauce on my bbq chicken pizza so I had to return to the counter and receive a "squirt" of cold bbq sauce from a ketchup bottle. Apparently even if they remember the sauce on this style of pizza, they purposely add it later so you're eating cold bbq sauce on your warm pizza. Really not very thought out. They advertise that they can cook your pizza in "120 seconds" but who cares if it doesn't taste good. I'd rather spend a little more at Luggage Room Pizzeria or spend less for an actual Subway sandwich. read more

I'll give this place three stars. The pizza is good because u choose your own toppings. Only the classic sauce is good the others are no bueno sometimes the toppings come out in cooked. Other times the pizza is burned. But on the rare occasion they have someone with a brain manning the oven it comes out great. You will smell like pizza after you eat there and loving next door just walking by the place kinda makes me woozy from the smell. Their desert is a joke. Their lemonade is good. (Add some water to Dilute it a bit ) or mix half regular Half blood orange. If you take out. Fill one cup with blood orange no ice and Dilute at home add ice and you have a drink for two. It's just too sweet. The price is amazing however. If you get anything other than build your own and your over the age of 15. You should just go somewhere else. The worst is when someone gets gluten free or veggie and mages the guy change his gloves. So annoying. I can understand if u have an allergy. But in a place like this (subway of pizza) changing gloves is dumb when it's just put in the oven with 10 other meat and non gluten pizzas. Oufff. read more

Cool place. So it's like Subways but for pizza except it's gourmet. Relatively inexpensive for a personal pizza. You choose your crust, toppings, etc. Then your cheeses and toppings. There are non-dairy cheese options, gluten-free, etc. My pizza came out tasting very healthy and full of veggies. Rarely do I talk about a meal the next day, and the next day after that, much less a pizza place- that is reserved for anniversary dinners, etc. But, I was so impressed with the taste of Blaze's made to order pizzas. I had tried a cousin of theirs- 800 degrees - it is similar as a line and you pick the crust, then build your pizza, and it was good, a little pricey. This place is better and you are not spending money with no leftovers so you can claim it was worthy of two meals. It is priced just right for two people. I liked the sausage a little better than the meatballs, but both had really good flavor and spices. I like how you can ask for the drizzle after the pizza is out of the oven, with an olive oil or pesto- it just adds one more flavor. I liked the "link in" pizza and I added mushrooms and pesto drizzle. The meat lovers was good and the crust cooked well, and held up- the purple onions made this pizza even better. I will return and even try one of their other locations if I am in that neighborhood. When football season starts, this might be good for "to go" orders. I look forward to building my next Blaze Pizza. read more

I mean if you are to serve us (Andy was the server), listen to what the customer have to say before you go ahead and move the pizza along. first time trying 2 weeks ago. staff was very friendly and service was quick. lots of toppings to choose from and the best part is only a few minutes your pizza is ready. I think price point is just ok for a subway style kind odof place. would definitely go again. I think 3 stars for now since I've only had it once and I was not overly impressed. Nice place to go with a group, when you want everyone to pay for their own. I like the variety of toppings and you get what you want. They were especially accommodating with my friend who needed a glutton free pizza and he wanted the edges crimped, I was very impressed. Great place to come for fast and delicious pizza. The line moves quickly and the selection of toppings is great - and the price is amazing: One flat price for as many toppings as you want... not bad at all. They also have a gluten-free crust, for those who don't do wheat. I had both my kids with me and it was no problem whatsoever. They had a few high chairs available and the place was loud enough to accommodate kids under 5, without me being too apprehensive about their behavior. They loved the pizza too. read more
