I'm 100% a fan of this place! Why? Because not only are the pizza's delicious, but they offer TWO gluten free options with a cauliflower crust or dough crust (they call it keto crust, I believe). I was hesitant to try the keto crust the first time I came here because I just get wary of any crust that's gluten free aka it won't be good. So I've had the cauliflower crust and enjoy it, but it has more of a flatbread consistency. But then I came here and finally tried the keto crust and it's more like a real pizza and a quality crust too! I made my own pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and it was perfect. Tonight I checked out Blaze Pizza with my girlfriends and it was a hit! It was the first time for all of us being there. We all decided to get a different Signature pizza. We tried the White Top (which had a white cream sauce, topped with mozzarella, bacon and arugula), BBQ Chicken, and the Green Stripe (which was topped with chicken, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, arugula and drizzled with pesto sauce). When I want to get a bang for my buck I love checking in at Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza with my Yelp app and getting a bogo pizza! I love the many choices they offer. Lately I've been getting the regular shell with garlic pesto sauce on the crust, classic red sauce and a mountain of toppings with a container of balsamic glaze on the side. Today was my first time visiting Blaze and it was absolutely fabulous! I got the Take 2 which is half of a custom build your own pizza and a salad. The Argula Fruit Salad and my pizza were delcious! All of the ingredients were so fresh and flavorful! I also got the fresh fruit tea that was perfect. The service was wonderful, very fast and the people working were very friendly! I got the green stripe pizza with cauliflower crust. The meal was good overall. The toppings consisted of garlic, mozzarella, arugula, chicken, and pesto. My only critques are that the arugula was not as fresh as I wanted it to be, and the cauliflower crust was a bit too crispy/crunchy. Also, the pesto was not really strong or distinct so it got lost in the meal. During my time there, the manager handed out "fresh-out-of-the-oven" cookies which were Smores and chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were quite sweet but nonetheless delicious. Horrible. I went to pick up my pizzas and when I got home, I only had 4 of the 8 slices. I called complaining and they said to come in to talk to the manager. So I did the next time I ordered which was a week later. They said the manager would be with me, but I waited 20 minutes and he or she never showed up. Interesting to see the pizza press that presses the dough. It is cooked for 180 seconds. Had a spicy red with pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, pesto finish. A thin crispy crust was good, not soft in the middle and not doughy. I have no idea how this business makes their money - because the pizzas are too reasonable and delicious. Now that I got that out of the way, It has a chipotle-like feel to me, from the menu to the selection options to the industrial style seating. For $7.95 you can make your own pizza with as many toppings as you want. If you're the type of person that doesn't want to look at all the toppings and pick what you want, they have specialty pizzas (FOR THE SAME PRICE) already made up for you. They have different sauces, cheeses, meats, and veggies. At first I thought it was a joke, but if you can build it they can make it! The first time I completely overdid it with the toppings. I want ALL the meats, no veggies, sprinkle that salt and oregano on there and give me a couple of drizzles on that bad boy. I may have only eaten like 2 slices before I was completely full! They also have another "upgrade" option of getting a thicker crust for $2 more, which I am an absolute fan of! Thin crust is cool, but the thicker one just tasted heartier to me. Ok, now let's talk size. My husband and I can share a thicker crust pizza with as many toppings as we want. I'm serious. There is NO REASON to order 2 pizzas between the two of us (unless you don't like the same toppings and don't want to split one). The three times we have been here we both have NEVER eaten our entire pizzas - NEVER. Oh, and I never thought I'd be a fan of sprinkling a small amount of salt over your pizza before it cooks, but it makes it taste like heaven in dough form! Drinks - they have a typical soda machine, but they also have various lemonade flavors, which some are absolutely delightful, BUT some do taste like that artificial sweetener stuff, so taste at your own discretion. I like to mix my lemonade with a bit of sprite to give it some extra zest. I wish they had 7up or ginger ale, but a tad of sprite gives it a nice zesty punch taste. There isn't any alcohol served here, but it isn't that type of establishment. They want you in and out. My daughter wanted to go because she had been to a Blaze in a different city. The set up is like Subway, the have the crust ready and you pick the fresh toppings. They also have signature pizza's and you can add or subtract toppings with no price change. I had the vegetable and added artichoke and mushrooms. They followed on some red sauce and threw it in the oven. It was food. The aqua Fresca was a little bland, just ok. I would have liked a cold brew! I've been there twice now within the course of a few weeks! The first time I tried the classic red sauce and the second time I tried the pesto. Both were great! The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are fresh. They build your pizza right in front of you; you can put as much or as little of anything on your pie. If you're gluten free, they have a gluten free crust for you. You also have the option of ordering online so you can just zip in and out. They have a separate area where they keep online orders, so you can just grab and go. It only takes a few minutes for your pizza to be made anyway though.
