Goodafternoon, Yesterday my fiance and I came for dinner for my birthday and we had unfortunately one of the worst experiences we ever had. Several years ago my fiance and I had our first date there. Our lunch was delicious and we continued to return ever since for years. Last week we got engaged! So we thought we would come for dinner. First off- my wine didn't arrive until after our meal came out. Which was taken to the wrong table also then brought to us. Then the meal itself was wrong. So we sent it back. They reheated my fiance burger and did not make a new one and he could barely eat it. On top of that she didn't bring my second glass of wine until after the recooks were fixed also. So I didn't enjoy my second glass with the meal either. No food was comped. When we were leaving I asked to speak to the manager because I am a rewards member I had used my birthday coupon but the meal still seemed wrong. He came up to me very rudely and said "what do you want?" Who even talks to a customer like that? I told him this same story. No congratulations or happy birthday or anything. This man should be fired immediately. He did fix our receipt charge but was extremely smug about it. I hope to hear from someone as this is literally one of our favorite places to go and I was extremely upset. Who doesn't say congratulations or happy birthday to a guest?! My boyfriend and I came and sat at the bar for a quick bite to eat and drink and I really enjoyed my food & the moscato they serve is flavorful! The hot honey on the hot honey chicken sandwhich was dripping off and it was delicious. The sweet potato tater tots were small but mighty in flavor & great with ranch - which I will say, coming from a ranch lover, they have great ranch!! Went there for Easter buffet and was not impressed. They ran out of ham which was disappointing. My serving of prime rib was so rare, it could have walked off of my plate. Fish was dry. Definitely not worth $44+regular drinks. Our server let our plates pile up. We had to ask him to remove them several times. He was good at bringing drink refills though. I ordered a pecan salad and it was so disappointing I called the waitress once I attempted to pour the balsamic dressing and it was all oil. What happened to the balsamic the color was not what it normally is the dressing was oil the chunks of what I guess makes balsamic sat on the bottom after waiting on our waitress she explained that is just the dressing she brought me another which was the same consistency I purposely ordered the walnut salad because of the flavors which go hand in hand with the pecans and apples I should have returned it but as it stands I will not be going back. I will never be back. The experience started poorly with a noticeable gnat problem and went downhill from there. While the appetizers and salad arrived quickly, we waited over an hour, no exaggeration, for our main course. The restaurant had very few patrons, so there was no excuse for that kind of delay, especially since the order wasn't even correct when it finally arrived. It really saddens me to see how down hill Walnut Grill has gone. The food quality declined since COVID and the service is horrendous. Tonight was the third night we ordered take out and our order was WRONG. I specifically asked for no cheese and even said the last time we ordered no cheese, it was still put on the sandwich and we were disappointed. The girl that took my order ensured me she'd double check that there was no cheese, but guess what? THERE WAS. And they forgot the French dip. Giving it 4 stars because of the service. The place was dead at noon on a Tuesday. The service Slow as molasses and had less personality. The food was fantastic. I had the balsamic chicken with steamed broccoli and a bowl of chili. The chili was just OK but the chicken and the broccoli were fantastic. My coworker had a burger that he enjoyed, and my customer had a large Caesar salad with chicken , he must've enjoyed it because he finished the whole bowl. read more

My wife and I stopped at the Walnut Grill for their Sunday Prime Rib Brunch Buffet. We had made 10:15 AM reservations on St. Patricks Day. We were promptly seated and honestly I believe the only patrons in the restaurant. Buffet was strong. Breakfast options included scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, home fries, or omelettes. Lunch options were prime rib, corned beef and cabbage (It was St. Patricks Day), red skin potatoes, mashed potatoes, mushroom chicken , tilapia , penne with a tomato sauce, salad, and small desserts. A piece of bread would have been nice. Service was attentive and food quality was really good. Drinks are not included in the $22.95 Brunch price. There is a 3% upcharge fee to use a credit card as well. Overall, I'd definitely return for brunch as the food is excellent and I'm curious what other food they rotate on the brunch buffet. read more

We showed up as a party of 12 including children. The restaurant was having their company Christmas party at 8 o'clock. Our reservation was at 7 o'clock so I thought oh boy these guys are gonna want us out ASAP but our server was absolutely lovely and very patient with us. We did not feel rushed at all and the food was good. I appreciated the fact that they took that reservation at the same night of their Christmas party and we're very very pleasant cosmopolitan magazine published. A great, more relaxing alternative than nearby First Watch and Deluca's. We hopped over to Walnut after we arrived to Deluca's at a 10am rush with a wait, and we were able to get into Walnut with ease. We sat at a wonderful open air section of the restaurant which was able to be enjoyed in the rain, as it has an overhang! Even though you're looking out at the parking lot, you do feel like you're perhaps on vacation out there. It's quite peaceful! We enjoyed the Crème Brûlée French Toast and the Eggs Benedict. We asked to substitute fresh fruit for breakfast potatoes that comes with the French Toast. We also ordered a side of bacon. We were unimpressed by the bacon. We overheard it's cooked in the oven and perhaps the bacon can be improved with griddle top cooking. The service was efficient and kind. The cauliflower was great. The flatbread had a great flavor but way too much cheese. My husband had a Bells Oberon beer, actually two, he said it was a wonderful and light drink. Where do I begin. We got a large table for some coworkers who flew in for a business meeting this week. Now nothing against our server, she was great and tried her best to keep up with not only our large table, but the surrounding ones as well. The restaurant itself is nice, quiet and has a full service bar. But I don't know who was cooking today, but every single person who ordered a steak, had theirs cooked incorrectly. We were already feeling bad because of the large group we had, so we didn't send them back (I believe 1 person did because his steak looked like I just came out the refrigerator). Food was ok at best, salad had soggy lettuce mixed with fresh ones, they didn't have curry sauce for the oysters and no bone in wings....wow... I couldn't even finish my meal because the steak was rare when I asked for medium. I've only ever been 2/3 times and 2x it's been unpleasant. The onetime i went the waiter asked me my order, WROTE IT DOWN and it still came back wrong. Mind you i wanted the lunch special that they ONLY serve during sit down- can't even order it to go. So now I have to use my 30 min lunch to sit in order and eat then drive back to the office. So my order came out wrong and had to wait 20 min for a new order. Then i went again today, no one was at the front but there were 3 parties of people waiting to be sat. Then i get sat, and they don't put a lunch menu down. It's literally 12pm exactly, how aren't you putting the menu out when you seat me. I told the lady, i know exactly what i want but there no lunch menu. She said oh, let me grab it. And NEVER COMES BACK!!! i waited 5-10 min then just left. I watched her walk to get a menu then never come back. Couldn't even get a glass of water sat on the table. It's cravable. The French Onion Soup was ok, but nothing to right home about. Our server Mackenzie was wise excellent! . She made our experience enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, well maintained. Underrated breakfast. Pros: great staff, usually not very crowded for breakfast, small but diverse breakfast options. Bacon is cooked just the way I like it. Cons: was not a fan of their breakfast potatoes, but they now add onions and peppers which is good. Price is a bit higher than some other breakfast options. I've had two excellent experiences in a row here at the Robinson Walnut Grill! Last week we came for breakfast and a Bloody Mary. They served up salmon and over easy eggs, we asked for a side of bacon, and the breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions were amazing. Let me just add, BREAKFAST IS SERVED UNTIL 3 everyday!!! For all you late risers out there ! (Or who doesn't love breakfast for lunch!) The bloody Mary's are fabulous, and I am very picky about my bloody Mary's! Always ask for bacon in that too! This time around, we decided to cook at home and come here for a cocktail and dessert! We ordered Moscow mules from the sip menu- one pear mule and one cucumber mule , served up in extra frosty copper mugs. For dessert we tried the coffee cinnamon crumb cake, topped with vanilla bean ice cream... yes it was as good as it sounds. Very disappointed this visit. The gnats were vicious in our section & in the bathroom. There was also one in my drink (see picture below) She didnt even say "sorry about that" though its NOT her fault, but the gesture would have been nice. 20 mins later I got another drink. Our waitress wasn't the most personable. Didn't check on us. 3 of us sent food back bc though the plates were hot, the food was cold, after we waited on it for almost 40 mins. They said there was a larger party (they were apparently there way before us and were still there AFTER we left) It was 8/8:30 and those that ordered the chicken and waffles were told they were short on batter so they would get "half off" which was only $3 off. Our section was COMPLETELY EMPTY! The service was so slow. I used to highly recommend this place but my last few visits to this and the Wexford location have been terrible! read more

Came here for trivia night and dinner. As far as trivia ... you sit in the bar area while and it starts around 6:30 (peak happy hour). The bar can get noisy and they don't have a speaker system so hearing the questions is REALLY heard... but the moderator tries really hard to make sure you know the question - even walking table to table to read it. Recommend a better set up so you can hear or try putting the folks there for trivia in the same area. Now for the food. We got a couple apps and drinks when we got here. The tater tots and boneless wings were really tasty and I loved the blackberry martini ...it was half off martini night so when in Rome ;) We also ordered dinner - the chicken artichoke sandwich ( very tasty) and the mushroom chicken is my normal go to here. The lower reviews are clearly people that are used to someone asking them if they would "like fries with that?" Large portions. When picking up, the restaurant was clean and staff were friendly.
