BLAZE PIZZA offers customers personal sized pizzas with thin crusts and a fairly large list of possible toppings that include pepperoni, sausage, green and red peppers, onions, olives, chicken, meatballs, chopped beef and so on. The pies take about 5-7 minutes to make and are delivered to you on the spot for in house dining or takeout. As something of a NY metro are pizza snob, BLAZE PIZZA surprised me and I've eaten there more than once during my several trips to Rapid City, SD. It is definitely a viable alternative to the ABSOLUTE CRAP pizza found at such venues as Marco's Pizza and Pizza Ranch - the latter being absolutely vile pizza, if it can even be called that. If other BLAZE PIZZA locations provide similar quality personal pies, then this beats frozen grocery store pizza and most other so-called pizza chains in the area. read more

This is a walk up and order then come back to the counter and pick up your pizza place. Our pizza only took a few minutes to prepare and was real good. We visited the Mtv during Hills Alive yesterday, and they were so busy, it almost seemed like the team was struggling. Until the owners husband wearing a Harley Davidson shirt and this other young man in a tank top came and started working with the team, the line that was once nearly wrapping the Interior of the building was now shortened to a couple families after when seemed like 25-30 minutes. those two worked their tails off which motivated the team to step their own game up and work harder aswell. Now that's real life Team Work. Can't give this place many stars because the kid at the counter ripped us off. We asked for sodas and he gave us cups for fountain drinks. When we got to him he said he could change them for bottles but clearly charged us for both the fountains and the bottles. When we asked him to correct it he said he couldn't find the receipt and gave us a coupon which we left for the maid at our hotel since we were leaving the next day. A bunch of kids goofing off and not paying attention to anything was definitely what we observed. No adults in sight. Just a bunch of teenagers making the decisions and one as simple as a soda refund should have been easily accomplished instead of the manager hiding in the back and throwing a coupon out at us as the answer. I stopped in here for the first time and was not impressed with the food or the state of the restaurant. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and staff was great with the ordering process. I got the pizza and started eating and could taste nothing but the cheese. Pizza sauce, chicken, BBQ sauce all had no flavor. I ate 2 pieces and threw it in the trash. The concept is the "Subway" model with all the toppings out to the open air for hours with no real flavor to anything. Looking around the restaurant the floors were really dirty, food everywhere dirt caked to the floors, you could barely see the shine of the concrete. This was a super yummy place! I just moved into town today. I loved the pizzas! The customer service was awesome. You got to add as many toppings as you wanted to the pizza for free. When the pizza is made and cooked properly it can taste amazing but that's IF it is cooked properly and not burned to a crisp or raw on the inside. I have come in multiple times in the past and I have decided that not only am I never coming back but I will also be sharing my awful experiences with yelp so you can arm yourself with the knowledge of how Blaze pizza operates. Let's start with the management... horrendous. On one of my visits around summertime I ordered three pizzas, two build-your-owns for me and my wife and a simple cheese pizza for our kids. The cheese pizza came out fine if not a little burnt, but we received someone else's pizzas instead of ours. I tried to bring this up with the employee at the register but as there was a line of maybe 5-10 people, so I just waited patiently. After about 10 minutes I was finally acknowledged I told the employee that I had received the wrong pizzas, and I would like to receive the correct ones. They asked me what the topping were so they could find our food and after telling them what our pizzas were they said that they couldn't find the pizzas and offered to have them remade. After our food was remade however, we were again handed food that was not ours, this is when I asked for a manager to which I was told that there was no manager currently there. There was no manager at the store at 11 in the morning. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed teenagers serving alcohol with no adult in sight, a slew of curse words including derogatory names and phrases coming from the people behind the counter and from the back of the restaurant, I have waited almost an hour for a pizza on a least two occasions, and that isn't even the worst parts of the restaurant, if you can even call it a restaurant. Blaze pizza is at most a fast-food joint and that's stretching it. The floors are covered in dirt and grime and when I sat down to eat, the tables were covered in pizza sauce and some sticky residue that I hope was soda. Most of the employees are insufficiently trained and act as if they are better than you. Another time only a few months ago I came in with my wife when it wasn't that busy and we ordered a pizza to share, this time the pizza came out edible but when my wife went to grab the pizza, she came back only to tell me that the man taking the pizzas out of the oven kept staring at her chest and making suggestive comments. She pointed him out just as he was leaving and before we left, I asked an employee who he was, and I was told that he was the owner and that his name was Dennis. To say the least my family, friends, and anyone who ever asks for any food recommendations I will be pushed to literally any place else. read more

Pizza was ok. I have never eaten there before, so I walked in and was not greeted, or asked if we needed help, so I was a bit confused. I then walked down to where they were making a pizza, then was told to go back to the other side were I started in the first place. I apologized and said just not sure we're I was supposed to order as no one even greeted me. They had no ice, so that made it even worse of an experience. Such great pizza! Love the concept here as it isn't just your usual boring pizza place. They have crust options incl deep dish and gluten free. They have several sauce options and most importantly they have vegan cheese and vegan chorizo! Yummm... I like that they make your pizza right in front of you... .due to the proximity of meat I have them change gloves before prepping my super veg pizza. I love how I can get all the toppings I desire without being nicked and dimed. The finishes are great too I always get arugula and a nice balsamic glaze. In fact, like this place so much and particularly this location they almost got 5 stars... I got delivery once and received totally the wrong pizza...I would strongly suggest you use the App and pick it up yourself or better yet go in and order. The app is great in that you get rewards but you can use it for rewards in house by scanning the receipt. I say sometimes because I've had a few run ins with some employees that are soo moody and just poorly represent the company which is known for the great service. I've also noticed my only complications with blaze has been only at the bacon park location and the other one I have never had one small problem with them. New place in last year so thought we'd give it a try. Service was friendly and fast for the venue. Pizza crust was moderately burned so one could taste it although the toppings were ok. Had a salad that looked very good but was extremely soggy and bland, not having any dressing to speak of except at the bottom where there was a taste of vinegar only. In general, it was a disappointment for us all (7) and it's very doubtful that we'd return with better pizza places close by. read more

Very recently opened so maybe they are experiencing some initial challenges getting the employees up to speed. Placed an online order for a pizza and salad. The smartphone app for this worked fine and it tells you when your order will be ready for pickup. I arrived at the exact time they said it would be ready. Once arrived, the pizza was ready but the salad was not and I had to stand there for 10 minutes waiting for a salad. 2nd visit was walk in with a friend. We placed our orders and then sat down. it didn't take long maybe 10 minutes or so and they called our order up. Brought the two pizzas back to our table only to find both were warmish, not hot as they should be. The pizzas went from out of the oven onto our table with less than 1 minute elapsing so basically, they were not fired long enough. We were in a hurry so didn't want to hassle with taking them bake to heat them up more. I've been to the other Blaze across town and never had any issues. Not impressed so far but might give them one more try after they hopefully get the kinks worked out at this location. read more
