I took the family to Blaze Pizza before going to the movies. We had never been before, although we have visited other build-a-pizza places like Pizza Rev at the Crossings in Corona. I wish I could recommend Blaze. The sauce is thin, the toppings are sparsely added, and the crust is terrible. I cannot even say it wasn't good because it was worse than that. I can't recommend Blaze Pizza, especially when a pizza is over $10 and I can get a larger, better pizza at Domino's for much less. read more

Overall: 4 stars. I do love the concept of customize your own pizza! So I'm able to add lots of jalapeños to my 1-2 slices so the kids can eat the non-spicy slices. I even added 9 total toppings most recently. Price: 3-4 stars but Blaze was very clever to attract new customers with the $3.14 Pi Day offer a few weeks ago. $3.14 for 6 slices of pizza lured me in (to another location) but $3.14 OFF a pizza lured me back. I'm a sucker for deals. Check your app for new offers. We got the Original Dough Build Your Own for $9.55 (we used a coupon in the app to save). Taste: If you don't like crust, this is the place for you since there's barely any crust around each slice. If you like the crust (and have children) then you'll still like this place because your kids will save the edges of their slices for you (like mine do). The toppings taste fresh from the cherry tomatoes and spinach, to the mushrooms and even the pineapple tasted great with pepperoni, ham, bacon, two kinds of sausages, and jalapeño. I stuck with the classic red sauce but next time may venture out and try their other sauces and toppings I didn't get to this time. Our pizza was a little burnt around the edges. I came here yesterday for a pizza for a late lunch around 2 pm. It was pretty empty. I ordered one build-your-own pizza. I added sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, salami, tomatoes, spinach, onion, bell peppers, & pineapple. I asked for it well done and the edges of the crust were super burnt & crispy. OK Blaze I see you. Yes, it's a chain; but it tasted way better than any of the other pizza chains. We ordered the White Top, Art Lover, and side of cheesy bread. I really enjoyed the Art Top. The crust was cooked perfectly. The garlic on the ArtTop added a lot of flavor. The WhiteTop pizza was also good. I recently visited this store and was helped not only by the employee Analyese but The GM as well. I'm not sure if that's the employees real name or not because even though it's company policy to wear a name tags she was not. So I'm not sure how to identify her, but the service made me never want to visit blaze again and I honestly won't. I was rushed, harassed and talked about by the employees right in front of my face. And I don't feel that's acceptable working with customers. I only got spinach, pineapple , red onion and garlic but after each topping the employee asked me "Are you done?" I should've left them but no I proceeded, but when we got to the final topping, pineapple I asked for more and she just didn't want to give me more proceeded to tell me "No , that's all I can give you." While there was still a lot of room on my pizza. Another employee Josue proceeded to take over an "pretend " to help me "oh I got you" adds extra pineapple. But right when I walk away both employees talk mess right in front of my face. This new generation. I don't eat meat so instead I like to cover my pizza in pineapple one of the main reasons I visit blaze. This was highly disappointing and I don't care for the way the customer service is at this particular location. Id gladly have robots serving me and I don't even care for technology advancements. Ive been coming to this location for years, and it used to be SO GOOD! But the past 2-3 years its suffered from higher costs and lower quality. The crust is paper thin and soggy with burnt edges, the most flavor is the salt seasoning. Also whatever flour (?) they put on the bottom I understand is to keep it from sticking, but when cooked its just a charred layer of raw flour and tastes awful! Horrible service. I was horrified by a staff member named Val. I asked her to please cut my pizza again as it wasn't cut all the way through and she put it back in the oven. I kept asking her to please take it out of the oven and she ignored me completely. She smirked at me and didn't respond, then proceeds to make my pizza slide all over the oven. It was like she did it on purpose. I was so confused. I asked to speak to the manger and she said she was the manger. Uhm so... Let's talk about Blaze Pizza. As someone's whose brother in law is Italian I can say this pizza is ok at best. While their pizza is good it can be better. I got the original pie and it was ok. Like the crust was good but they could make it better by hand tossing the dough rather than smushing it with a machine as they did. What they could also do for the crust is that it was a little burnt, so they could lower the heat under the pizza and raise the heat above it. My brother-in-law has a special oven for that and I recommend Blaze do the same. Second their cheese was really good but I noticed they didn't cut the cheese in front of me rather they just grabbed it from their bin. Like the cheese itself is good but it doesn't melt the same as freshly cut does. I would know because my brother-in-law does this all the time and tells me about the cheese hacks. Lastly the Sauce, it was good but I could also tell they didn't use the blood of a wild bore and the tears of a brown bear. Personally when my brother in law adds those two ingredients it makes the pizza SO MUCH BETTER. He doesn't use alot just enough to alter the taste. Now I don't expect them to do all these things but they definitely need to step up their act making their pizza. Who am I to tell them what they should do. But they should take note from the advice I gave them so they could make their pizza more enjoyable for everyone read more

When I'm craving pizza on the fly, it's usually Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza at the Riverside Plaza. I've had Pieology and MOD Pizza but, among the custom/DIY pizza spots out here in Riverside, Blaze is my ultimate favorite. I think what I enjoy most is creating my own pizza. I love that they offer pesto and alfredo sauces, which are far more superior than plain ol' marinara IMO. Here's how I like my Blaze pizza done: [ SAUCES ] - Garlic Pesto Sauce spread all over including the crust - dollops of White Cream Sauce [ CHEESES ] - Parmesan - Mozzarella - Feta [ VEGGIES ] - Spinach - Green Bell Pepper - Mushrooms - Kalamata Olives [ MEATS ] - Grilled Chicken - Applewood Bacon [ EXTRAS ] - minced garlic - dried oregano - Arugula (once it is out of the oven) - Pesto (drizzled over the Arugula) Sometimes I'll take out a few items from the above depending on how fresh they look. And I definitely do love a green pizza -- and only from Blaze! This place has a lot of indoor seating but I prefer dining al fresco here for better lighting! It's just too dim for a pizza shop inside. Overall, it's clean here and service is great. Wait times are pretty long (especially if you're there during lunch hour) but I love Blaze Pizza -- and their Blood Orange Lemonade! Mmm! :) read more

In full honesty, I'm not really sure what noncon4mist day is, but it must be a great cause if I get a pizza for four dollars. I just want to start this off by saying , I never write bad reviews or complain ever, coming from the food/service industry myself, people can be Karen's and are just annoying sometimes, but honestly this review is kinda long overdue. I come here very often and get the same thing every single time & I want to say , there are some good workers like this one guy idk his name but he wears glasses , a beard & has lots of pins on his hat & is rlly nice & probably the only nice one lol, but usually when I come in , the workers look like zombies, not very friendly, & just seems like they're mad & hate their job , which If that's the case .. quit! But anyways, I normally don't care about their attitudes because i just came for some pizza lol , buttttt there's one person in particular named Edith, who is just always in a horrible mood and is honestly so rude, & I could understand if I was a rude customer, but I'm not at all & I usually always tip as well. Today I come in, and get the pizza I always get, which I ask for BBQ sauce on it before it goes in the oven, which is never a problem & always looks like the first pic I put & today I noticed she put just 2 dots of BBQ on & so when I got to the register, I asked if she could do it how they always do and drizzle it on there and she replied with "I did" .... And I said "oh it doesn't look like how they normally drizzle it" and she said "do you want it on your other pizza too then?" (I got 2 pizzas) & I said "no, I just wanted it to have regular bbq sauce on the one with bbq sauce but i guess it's fine.." & she said "well okay then your total is $20.." In a rude , rushed, condescending manner, as if she just wanted me to shut up and pay & I mean look at that picture .... Does that look like a normal drizzle lol ??? Like I said , I come here ALL THE TIME, & it's the same order every single time & it's not like they had an empty bottle of sauce , it was full , so she was capable of putting the regular amount, & just didn't , to be difficult I just think management should know that this girl literally every time I walk in, always seems so mad with a horrible look on her face and gives attitude to everyone & all their employees are not the friendliest & they can definitely work on some customer service and trying to be a little more kind to people, instead of rushing & just trying to shoo you off and deal with the next person. Bad experience, unfortunately. Went today at around 7 pm, not overly busy but kids baking/packing pizzas seemed a bit in chaotic mode. Based on my observation while waiting for my pizza, it seemed they had lost control of which baked pizza belong to what lining sheet/customer. ... couldn't get linings ready fast enough as pizzas were coming out. Sure enough, as I picked up my order (#36) and got home, I had the wrong pizza.... right lining paper and all but unfortunately wrong pizza. I think they need an improved QA process that enables them to stay organized and keep up with process. I called the restaurant when I got home to let them know of the error but they never picked up. Blaze management please help this place before you lose business because of the chaos. read more
