Well this evening was a bust. The food good as usual but when the food arrived between my wife and I we received one napkin. The self serve water station had zero cups and zero water in the jug so we had to ask for them. It was 7:15pm and they close at 8pm and all the chairs were being flipped onto the table because they were obviously closing early. This really irritated me. What really pisses me off is the fact I left a tip at the kiosk that I ordered at BEFORE we had to experience this debacle. Hope this info/review gets to some who can make some changes. read more

I am not sure why this place is so highly rated....I did not try their food but ordered 2 drinks from them. My sparkling tea was absolutely terrible....tasted so bad I ended up throwing away. My husband's smlothie was better but they did not fill all the way in the cup. There were so many air pockets that it was basically half full. Did we come in on a off day?? Since it was a tea bar I was also hoping to get some work done, but the only plug point was over the door threshold and I was afraid someone would trip so my visit was cut short when my laptop powered off. I see many positive reviews for this establishment but it unfortunately didn't hit the mark for me. Enjoyed my whole experience here! I came with my girl friend and it was both our first time here. We didn't know what to order so the cashier gave us ideas on the most popular items on the menu. He went above and beyond with his service by offering to grab me water even though it was self serve! We came here on a weekday so it was quiet but we sat outside to enjoy the fresh cold winter air. Healthy, feel good food and beverages at Tbar. It's in midtown walking distance to many places and it has great outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine on a nice day! They have three menus of drink options, so there's a lot to choose from! On the day I went it was BOGO free so I got to try two teas. The first one was a fruity ginger drink and the second was a peach black tea. Personally, I like the peach black tea wayyy more. For food you have a few options: a wrap, bowl or avocado toast. You pick your protein, a sauce and then they add rice and veggies to the bowl! The chipotle sauce I chose for my chicken wrap was reallly tasty. I would definitely come back another time! read more

Fast casual dining next to the Blue Oaks theater offering a variety of teas and quick healthy eats in a bowl or as a wrap.The parking can be challenging because of the movie theater but there's parking lots all around it. Inside the restaurant it is open and modern with table or small booth seating. They also have a large patio for outdoor dining. You order at the register and they make it and bring it to you. For food, you choose how you want it prepared, the meat or vegetarian style as well as the grain or greens and the sauce. Their signature bowl when I went was a Mediterranean bowl so I chose that. It came with grilled chicken, hummus, romaine lettuce, white rice, feta, pita chips and an olive vinaigrette. I meant to ask for brown rice or quinoa instead but forgot. I really like that they give so many grain options and allow you to switch them up to your liking...half and half or less of something. For my bowl, I didnt really care for the dressing that came it, as it was more of an italian dressing and laked tge olives. But overall I enjoyed the bowl and found it to be filling. I can't remember which tea I got but it was equally good. On Mondays they offer their bowls for $10 and on Fridays you can flip a coin to see if your whole meal is free! The staff is friendly and willing to make recommendations and describe the menu offerings. I was first introduced to T.bar by Thrive's Blue Zones class taught by Coach Craig. We each got to choose one sample-sized vegetarian fusion bowl. I picked the Grilled Ginger Tofu and enjoyed it very much. I don't recall it having an obvious ginger flavor, but the bowl was accompanied by 2 different dressings: Wasabi Ginger and Miso. Wasabi Ginger is the more popular dressing. The fusion bowl came with avocado, edamame, carrots, purple cabbage, and brown rice. Vegetables were fresh, crunchy, and colorful. At the class, I heard which drinks were bestsellers or customer favorites: Sparkling Tea Infusions: Mystic Mandarin (also the owner's favorite) Strawberry Lime Blackberry Lemonade Acai Pomegranate Iced Tea: Pomegranate Lemonade After a day of pickleball, I decided to order dinner and a refreshing tea drink. I LOVED the MYSTIC MANDARIN sparkling tea infusion, and I'm still daydreaming about it! Might be the perfect drink for me. Green tea, Mandarin orange, mango twist. Light, fruity, bubbly. I had a hard time deciding which protein to choose: - Sweet Chili Chicken is popular. - Cracked Pepper London Broil sounds yummy. - Mango Seared Pork is the server's favorite. - Hoisin BBQ Salmon was also recommended by the server. I ended up choosing the Hoisin BBQ Salmon because I was leaning towards it anyway. I felt good about myself choosing to eat healthy, but I didn't feel the fusion bowl was filling or good value. I wished the salmon portion was larger, and I suspect none of the protein options are very large servings. However, next time, I'll try either the Mango Seared Pork or Cracked Pepper London Broil. Of the Frozen drinks (Frosted Tea Lattes and Blended Tea Sorbets), I believe the server mentioned the Strawberry Mojito Freeze and Lemondrop Freeze were popular. From skimming Yelp reviews and using common sense, I believe the Mango Madness Frost and Strawberry Almond Frost may appeal to people. Service needs work. Seemed like they were low staff today and their kiosk did not have all the drink options on there to order so I would have had to wait for someone to take my order. Girls working today were dismissive, saw me standing there but didn't say anything. Body language is everything and if you make eye contact with someone then go and whisper to your fellow coworker and continue to pretend that you didn't see me standing there Is immature, not professional. Maybe they were overwhelmed by how busy it was but they definitely lack customer service skills. Unfortunately had to go somewhere else as I stood there for 20 mins. Being huge fans of Tea Bar & Fusion Kitchen of the downtown Sacramento location my wife made sure we made a pitstop here while being out in this Rocklin area. It is located within the same strip mall of the Blue Oaks Century theater. So conveniently located. A ton of free parking. What sets this one apart from the downtown one is that they did an incredible job of furnishing it with an upscale comfortable elongated booth like seating in the center of the restaurant. We really enjoyed that beautiful ambiance. That really sets it apart from your typical counter fast casual restaurant. They do have outdoor seating but it was too chilly for us on that winter morning. Service was excellent here. Sorry we didn't catch their names but they served us very well as if it was an order at the table service. We love their healthy options for food. My wife ordered their salmon quinoa bowl & she also ordered a pork quinoa bowl to go too. I got the chicken wrap. We like that you can collect rewards too just give them your cell phone number. We usually pass by this place when we go to the japanese resto nearby but never had the chance to try it but today we did and im glad we did! My husband ordered black tea with soymilk and I ordered acai sunrise drink and we love it! Bathrooms are clean and theres an outdoor sitting too so we had a nice time enjoying the cool weather while enjoying our drinks. Inside is nice and spacious, modern with a lot of natural lighting. They offered refreshing drinks and fusion fares like bowls and wraps. I placed my order for a cold drink on their iPad kiosk. The blended tea sorbets appealed to me but I wanted something fruity and refreshing and tried the Pomegranate Lemonade (green tea, pomegranate and fresh lemonade). I added pearls (boba) which had a nice chewy consistency. There are only five locations here in California: two stores in Chico, one in Redding, Midtown Sacramento and yasss! Tea Bar & Fusion Kitchen just moved into a terrific new spot in Rocklin (right next to the Cinemark on Blue Oaks) and is bringing the same tasty drinks, eats, and friendly service as their cafe in Midtown. The vibe in this new location is a mix between fast-casual dining and stay awhile with your laptop and get some work done. Lighting is good, music is chill. There's also a large outdoor patio with plenty of seating (and dog-friendly). If you haven't yet experienced Tea Bar's drinks, there's so many to choose from and the menu is well laid out and descriptive. Currently I'm obsessed with the Strawberry Mojito Freeze! It had just the right balance of tart and sweetness. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for a mocktail type of drink. What makes Tea Bar stand out above all the countless tea shops around town is really in the healthy eats. The menu has clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options and you can build your own Fusion wraps and bowls with fresh ingredients. I tried the Fusion Wrap with Impossible meatballs and quinoa rice blend, and it was loaded with greens, carrot, and avocado. The only vegan dressing currently is wasabi ginger, which was great, but I hope they consider adding another vegan dressing option (vegan chipotle ranch please!). The terriyaki salmon with creamy terriyaki dressing on the side was fantastic and the quinoa is delicious! This is a filling and healthy spot! It was sweet in a way that wasn't artificial tasting but also not too natural in a bad way. It was extra thick and the mango chunks were a nice touch. I mean this girl had a bunch of orders come in, I've worked in the industry and I know how stressful it can be, but she did really good keeping a positive attitude with every guest and even the ones that were making it hard on her she did amazing. I love the food and usually the staff here so this was really unfortunate last night: I had skin cancer surgery and this was the first time we went out to eat and one of the employees asked when she brought us our food "do you know you have a bandage on your head?" Mind you this isn't just a bandaid. I felt like it was super insensitive and after then listening to her behind the counter I felt she just did not know how to behave in an environment like this. I'd been going back and forth about trying this place, and I'm glad I finally did. I ordered a wrap, a hummus appetizer, and an iced tea. The wrap was made with very fresh ingredients, which I appreciated. My only issue was that the sauce was packed separately, and I completely forgot to take it out of the bag--so I ended up eating it without. While the wrap was still good, it felt a bit dry and under-seasoned without the sauce. Just a heads-up: if you're ordering takeout, don't forget the sauce like I did! I understand why they package it separately--it probably helps keep the wrap from getting soggy. The hummus was a standout. Easily some of the best I've had, which was surprising given that this isn't a place you'd typically expect to find top-tier hummus. A must-try. The iced tea was also great--refreshing and flavorful, especially perfect on a hot day. I did a pickup order, and the staff member who handed me my food was friendly and clearly cared about good customer service. Overall, I'm really happy I gave this place a shot.
