I'm going to miss this place when we go back to the mainland. Every time we have ever eaten here it has been great customer service I just can't complain. The food is always made fresh and it usually comes out sip we r fast Favorite is the garlic steak with mushrooms with some white rice and mac salad. The price is reasonable so It makes my wallet happy. The only down fall is the sitting arrangements,...they are very limited to say the least but hey for the price and the quality I can't complain. I ordered brown rice, thai flavored fish, and a salad. I assumed my salad dressing would be place on the side but they squeezed dressing on there for me which I did not like. I hate spicey food and the fish was a little hot which o should have known better (cause its Tahi food duh). But other then that the sauce taste really good. Would eat there again. read more

Unfortunate because I really like the food here, but I had to yelp their service. The last several times we placed a phone order, the guys that answer the phone are REALLY MOKE. They don't say thanks, don't say bye and just say "OK." and hang up! So not the biz with customer service. Tonight, I got a girl that giggled almost the whole time, never asked for my name, didn't repeat my order...just basically let me talk and said "ok, bye." 5 minutes later, someone calls me back to ask if I just tried to order and THEN asked for a name. Ordered from bite squad and two separate meals had bugs (fly and smaller bug) in our salads. We contacted bite squad for a refund, but it's upsetting that we weren't able to enjoy our meals. We ordered five other plates but who knows what could've been in their salads that we didn't check for. The food that did get eaten was bland. read more

My husband and I have been coming here on and off for the past few years. And today we decided that it's been a few months since the last time we went so we should go. We got what we usually do, and unfortunately their quality has gone down A LOT! My husband usually gets the steak and shrimp and he said that he forgot how stingy they are, and how the quality of their food has changed (not in a good way). I normally get the Thai peanut chicken, and that has also changed. Instead of this creamy PEANUT sauce, it's basically just a bunch of red pepper flakes in a runny peanut-ish sauce. The girls there have never been very friendly or even look friendly, and their rice was crunchy like it was either old or they didn't add enough water. Needless to say, we move soon and will not be returning. There are other steak places that make better food. So just spend your money else where. read more

I used to love Blazin' Steaks. Back then it was really a piece of steak, grilled, and cut. Whatever you got, you can re-assembled it back into a steak. Now, I got meat pieces loaded with a pair of tongs as a pile of unrecognizable meat. I would not go so far to call it steak. If it was just once, I can look pass it as a end of day or off day kinda of thing. But my past 3 visits were all distinctly worse compare to how they were originally. There is really not much to review, rice is rice, steak is steak. If the steak is not that good, there is really nothing going for it. ... And the steak isn't that good... I think I've had my last visit and I will not be returning. read more

Pretty good place to stop by for lunch break. Price was reasonable for what they offer. It's conveniently and has to be strategically situated next to a 24 Hour Fitness so gym junkies can get their protein fix immediately ! I had the Steak and Shrimp. I like that there are healthy options to pair with your entrees. Like replacing white rice with brown and Mac salad with tossed salad if you so choose to. I'm sure you can completely cut out the carbs and have just greens. I'll definitely try again to get away from Schofield while on lunch break. This is by far the best Blazin Steaks on the island. The customer service is alway good, it's fast, and the food is always perfect. It's my favorite place to pick up food. Well I like the way they they cook the steaks they slice it real thin, yakiniku thin, and they don't overcook it.... However the seasoning was just a little too salty... And for two garlic steak plates large sizes it only took them no no less than 6 minutes... I would have appreciated it if they made it less salty and not just heated up when I order it. Consider changing the recipe and or change to low sodium salt because that is way too salty for anyone's diet. read more

See, there are actually 2 blazin steaks in very close proximity to one another, this one that I am reviewing right now, and the other being at the towncenter. I like this one better for 2 reasons. 1. It's conveniently next to the gym. (the 24 hr fitness) Now I'm not going to say this is the healthiest choice you could ever make pre or post workout. But cuts of meat could never go wrong. 2. The added variety of sides. You would think they'd sell all the same stuff at each location right? Well the rest don't have macaraoni salad, brocolli, and corn, all in one place. All the other locations have some combination of some or neither, and this is the one area with all of it. How would I review the actual place? Pretty good. The steaks are seasoned quite nice, and there's a healthy amount of rice given....which I suppose saying a "healthy amount of rice" can be somewhat contradictory. I've had the regular steak, garlic steak, along with the shrimp. Haven't tried their fish (salmon?) yet. But let's face it, I wouldn't go to blazin steaks to have fish now would I? read more

I loved my tri tips Kim Chee style. Very tasty and tender. The mac salad made with spaghetti was yummy. The only reason 4 stars my mom got the steak and fish and let's just say the fish wasn't tasty at all. It had a weird texture. But she loved her steak and the salad. read more

Quality here can be sometimes inconsistent. Sometimes the steak is offputtingly tough and chewy but most of the time it's deliciously tender. I've tried the garlic, BBQ, and most recently kimchi steaks. All have been very good, barring the occasional toughness problem mentioned earlier. The kimchi wasn't as good as the one at Mililani BBQ, but their kimchi is really good there so it's a tough comparison. At first I got the Mac salad as the side when ordering but have gotten the corn since I discovered they offer it. It's a nice loose corn that's seasoned like the corn from KFC. And of course a good dousing of the Korean BBQ sauce that's off to the left side of the counter. read more

The store is owned by a married couple (Michelle and Vill), GREAT owners, friendly people to the max, and always chipper when I see them! Your food is cooked to order, and it is usually quick service! Ambience About 5 tables with 4 chairs at each table (indoor seating only), first come first serve. There are additional seating across from Just Tacos next the Korean BBQ restaurant, and also a public restroom (closes at 9PM) next to the bank near the outdoor dining tables. The fountain drinks are in the dinning area for your convenience and condiments are kept up front next to the cashier to avoid customers walking away with them (sharing is caring)! Food Their steak is always good. You can request how you would like your meat cooked (well done, medium-well, etc.), but the meat is pre-cooked every half hour to an hour (depending on business) so it is cooked to where it is rare to medium rare. You can choose from white or brown rice, or even just all salad! Their chicken is tender and boneless; you can choose from Korean bbq chicken, mushroom chicken, bbq chicken, plain chicken, and they used to have peanut thai but they discontinued that. Delicious steak for a plate lunch! Best I've had on the island. The meat is flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly. Both the brown rice and white rice are good, and the salad is fresh mixed greens. Mac salad is yummy too. FYI, their website says they only take cash/check, but this location DOES take credit/debit cards. Parking can be hard to find sometimes even though it's in a larger lot. I drove around for 30 minutes trying to find a spot one day around 5:00 and finally gave up. I only wish that the to-go containers had dividers so that my steak sauce wouldn't end up on my salad. Good food at a pretty reasonable price. While it's no longer as cheap as it used to be, the prices for what you get are still pretty great. The steak plates here are pretty good, the steak is nicely seasoned, nothing too fancy. But it's cut into pretty tiny pieces. They definitely cut it a few too many times. I had the steak and shrimp plate for $10 which was enough to get me through lunch. The shrimp was decently big for a fast food restaurant. This place also seems like a common stop for the people finishing up at the gym next door. If you're looking for a solid meal, this place hits the spot. read more

Wow, talk about a shift in the portion size and meat cuts! I went to Blazin' Steaks today in Mililani and expected the usual thick cuts of steak along with a nice piece of salmon. But to my dismay, the steak was sliced paper-thin and the salmon was dry and looked like it went through a weight-loss program. There was no price reduction to go along with the smaller portions. As always, good steak, poor customer service. Cashier was very rude. Constantly rolling her eyes and being very short with me while taking my order. Cashier started piling plates on the counter calling out orders. Other customers got their food and walked out. She came back placed a plate on the counter and walked away. I stood there and the cook from the back noticed i was still waiting and asked what my order was, opened the plate on the counter, confirmed and gave me the plate with a smile.
