There were some things here that were really good and some that weren't great. Positives were service and some of the food. Wagyu dumplings were really good, our server Taiga was really nice and the kids meal ice cream with sprinkles and chocolate fudge was good. We got the campfire three course meal and it was okay for the entrees. The ribeye was cooked medium and tasted good. The chicken and ribs were okay but the chicken was dry and so were the ribs. The crème brûlée was not good as it looked more like lumpy clumps not in any way the texture or taste of what crème brûlée should be. The kitchen was backed up even though it wasn't too busy. All in all I probably wouldn't go back.

Corey the waiter and Josh the bus boy was really awesome. The customer services were awesome and the food was delicious. They kept offering water and making sure our table was clean. OpenTable is where you make reservations. The place is clean. I ordered the crab cake and it was delicious. My hubby shared his ribeye. For our sides we order loaded bake potato and loaded mash potatoes. We are got a free deserts because of the birthday anniversary. We will be back. Thanks for a great dinner.

We recently had a small birthday celebration here, and it turned out to be such a great experience! Our server, Anthony, truly went above and beyond, he was attentive, friendly, and constantly checking in on us. The food was reasonably priced, they have this $71 dinner for 2... and we got steak and salmon.. came out quickly, and everything was delicious. The overall atmosphere was just so comfortable and home-y! We even had fun filming Instagram reels wearing wigs, and the staff and everyone around us were so kind and supportive.. laughing with us. i'll come back with my whole fam for sure! mahalo!

This place has gone down hill. Clam Chowder tastes like bland water, Prime Rib had a weird gamey taste, the chocolate cake has gotten smaller, the ice cream scoops have shrunk. What's going on here. Prices have gone up, coupons are less, portions have shrunk. I used to go to this place every week, but hadn't visited for 3 years until now. Big difference from before. They used to give you a full size chocolate cake, instead, they only give a slice now. The campfire feast went up in price nearly $15. Price used to be $56 with a coupon in 2022. Now it's $75 after coupon. Most cuts of steak are an additional $6. So it adds up quick. They put less salad dressing on their salads. It's almost like they tell their staff to cut as much cost as possible. The servers are still the best and very attentive. I don't blame them for the business.

I have not been to cattle company in ages but we used to come here a lot when i was younger, when they were called Stuart andersons. My mom guys still come here every so often and i was so excited when she picked this place as her birthday dinner restaurant! We had a fairly large party, 8 people, and Corey was hands down the best server. He brought us a 2nd round of bread as he noticed we were gonna devour that first round pretty quick - but come on, it's that squaw with the whipped butter, thats the most irresistible kind!! Yum. He was also beyond ON IT with the water refills - we never once had to ask for water and all of us are pretty heavy water drinkers!! Corey was always checking on us to see if we needed anything, really excellent service. All our meals were exactly as we all ordered it (and how often does that happen when you have this many people?) and the servings were huuuuuge. I am happy to report i will have the most delicious lunch of leftovers tomorrow! Since we were here for my mom's birthday, Corey brought their birthday cookie with ice cream for her and he didn't just drop the dessert and leave, he even sang happy birthday with us! This place was just as i remember it, i always loved the high booths when i was little and i still love to sit there as an adult. The food was delicious and my favorite, the fried zucchini with cucumber dip, is STILL my favorite! Highly recommend coming here for a meal (make reservations!!), whether you're celebrating a special occasion, out on a date, or are just in the mood for steak!

Christmas Eve brought us back to Black Angus Steakhouse. I was craving a good prime rib without the effort of cooking it myself, and this is usually my go-to spot for that. Our server was witty and full of humor - enjoyable at first, tho it became a bit much after a while if I'm being honest. Still, my wife and I were able to enjoy our evening. Service, however, was delayed at every point. Understandable on a holiday, but not understandable considering the restaurant was less than half full as our reservation was at 4:45pm. What was confusing was that my order for clam chowder was taken even tho they had apparently run out. I wasn't informed of this and waited patiently. About 30 minutes after ordering, my wife's salad arrived shortly after the appetizers. That was when the server casually mentioned, "You ordered chowder, but they're making a new batch." I ended up receiving the chowder at the same time as my meal, roughly 45 minutes after ordering. That said, the chowder itself was delicious. My prime rib was everything I expected: flavorful, cooked perfectly to temperature, and hearty. I especially appreciated getting a cut that was lighter on fat. My wife ordered the filet and was very pleased with her meal as well. Note: There is no Happy Hour on holidays - Christmas Eve included. Parking is plentiful, tho it can fill up fairly quickly during peak times, so go early! All-in-all, this is a place we will return to, even if the service is *always* lacking. The westside doesn't have many steakhouses and driving to Waikīkī or town isn't always in the cards for us.

I'm never disappointed with my prime rib order here. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes they seem understaffed and waitstaff are overwhelmed. You might hardly see them. Big a** booths for lots of privacy and catching up with friends/family.

Today's venture to Black Angus Steakhouse was not a good day for them and me. When I got there the kitchen had power issues and the printer at the bar wasn't working either. I ordered the "Feast-for-1," as usual. My clam chowder had to be reheated and still wasn't hot. My med-rare NY strip came medium after the outage, not med-rare, as ordered. The broccoli had a big piece of the base stalk and a few crowns. The loaded baked potatoes were cold. There were a lot of people waiting for seats outside, booths were filled but the bar was empty. I sat at the bar. The Blue Moon was very cold and good. This was very unlike their normal operations. I didn't return anything else other than the Chowder for reheating, they had enough problems. I was disappointed to see that the ice cream cake is no longer on the menu but the Fudge Cake with ice cream was good. I will return, since this was not their normal way of operating.

*This review is for a uber eats order only* I was craving for steak and this place popped up on my uber eats app they had a buy 1 get 1 free so decided to take advantage of that. I've never tried this restaurant before and wanted to give them a try. It was a pretty good deal for two plates. But food wise (it lacked so much flavor). The food wasn't even warm, which I feel surprised bc I don't live that far from this restaurant. It was really cold. Two stars just for the good deal but I don't know. Maybe I need to try in person at the restaurant instead.

Our party of 4 friends had reservations at Black Angus Steakhouse at 4:30p on Monday, 12/22/25. We were seated promptly by the Hostess. The place was nice and empty and we had a great seat in a booth. Our experienced server Michael was very friendly and we had a nice banter going as he served us our drinks and gave us our menu. My friends and I all ordered the Campfire Feast for Two, that includes an appetizer, two entrees with 2 sides, and a dessert. If you want to upsize you can. That is what we did. The four of us paired up for this Campfire Feast deal. We were also teachers so as a teacher you can also get a 15% discount. If one member of your party is a Teacher, Nurse, or in the Military, you get a 15% discount off of your bill. My friend also had a $10 off coupon for all of us on the Campfire Feast Deal as well. My friend and I ordered the Chips and Artichoke dip to share as part of our Feast. It was warm and crisp. The dip was rich and hearty. My 2 other friends did an upsize and got the variety platter of chicken tenders, shrimp cocktail, loaded potato skins. and fried zucchini. They enjoyed it. We all could order sides. I got the salad with a combination of Blue Cheese and Thousand Island Dressing. My friend got the Salad with Ranch and Thousand Island Dressing. We appreciated the combination dressings. My other 2 friends got their salads with Caesar Salad Dressing. We enjoyed the freshness of the lettuce, and tomatoes. My friend enjoyed her croutons on it as well. Next we ordered our 2nd sides. Three of us upsized. Two of us got the Baked Potato with everything on it. My other friend got the Mashed Potatoes with everything on it. We loved the sour cream, cheese, and green onions atop of our starch. Another friend got the Baked Potato Soup. We all ordered the Prime Rib entree. I had mine medium rare, my friend had hers rare, another friend had hers medium, and another had hers medium well. We all enjoyed it. It was succulent and flavorful and tender. We appreciated the Au Jus sauce and Creamy Horseradish and regular Horseradish sauce. It enhanced the 12 oz. Prime Rib. For dessert my friend and I ordered the warm Chocolate Chip Cookie with ice cream. My other friends ordered the Crème Brûlée. We shared our desserts. I really enjoyed the Ice cream and decadent Chocolate Chip Cookie. The Crème brûlée was good. It was sweet and custardy. We had a wonderful time leisurely eating our meal and catching up with one another. We weren't rushed to leave the premises which was fabulous. As we were leaving the place was bustling and busy. Overall, we had a joyous time at Black Angus Steakhouse. The customer service was outstanding. We enjoyed how attentive our waiter Michael was. He was very informative and helpful as well. He took a group photo of our table with a positive demeanor and was knowledgeable about Black Angus Steakhouse. We all enjoyed our meals and even took home our leftovers for later. We will indeed be back for another gathering at Black Angus Steakhouse.

I alway have a great experience when I go to Black Angus in Pearl City , Hawaii! Form the expediter Walley , who works hard bussing tables or setting tables up. The excellent servers that go above and beyond, Joslyn, Ann, Raymond!!! And the Host I forgot her name but she's tall and mix Caucasian, she's always happy and smiling and not making you feel like you're a bother, even when she's busy. But most of all I always say this for every good employee there is a leader keeping the shift running smoothly, I'm a restaurant manager as well so I recognize great leadership and moral values, Thank you to Amethyst who is one of the manager and D. Who is a lead or supervisor, but most of all the General Manager Rob Gilbert who takes care of his employees. Please give your employees a great kudos, for their professionalism and work ethics in taking time for their customers and not just for the paystubs or tips :) Mahalo for taking care of me, Best regards, Dwayna R. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. Everything tasted great, and the student who served us made us feel very comfortable. They checked in often to see how the food was and whether we needed drink refills. The service was truly five-star. We loved every dish, especially because the flavors were well balanced and never overpowering. The blueberry scones were not too sweet and paired perfectly with the cream cheese. The salad starter was fresh, and the phyllo was crunchy and flavorful on its own. The crab was delicious and well prepared. For the main course, I had the pork loin with apricot and prune. The sweet and savory flavors worked beautifully together, and the meat was perfectly cooked and not dry at all. For dessert, I ordered the Pots de Crème au Chocolate. It was rich and indulgent without being overly sweet -- the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, this was a five-star experience, and I will definitely be booking another reservation again.

We only waited a couple of minutes for a table and our food came out in about 15 minutes. Every employee we interacted with from our server to the bussers were friendly and welcoming. The ribeye loco moco was the highlight (they were out of the prime rib). They give you a FULL SIZED ribeye (maybe 10oz?) instead of a small piece of steak like how they do with a hamburger patty or two, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered mine medium, but it unfortunately came out very well done. Thankfully, the rich gravy, perfectly cooked eggs, and the $3 pork adobo fried rice upgrade more than made up for it. That fried rice alone is worth ordering. We also shared the chicken and waffles, and the fried chicken was seasoned really well with a great crunch without being overly breaded. My only "complaint" other than the steak temp was that it came with honey but no syrup. I understand the choice, but I wish they at least offered syrup on the side (granted I didn't ask for any). Our bill for the ribeye loco moco and chicken and waffles was around $55, which felt fair for Hawaii especially when you get an entire ribeye. I will definitely be back to try the prime rib loco moco!

The Naks in Pearl City…read more.. Just right beside the Don Quijote food court is a cute place called Naks Cafe as this cozy spot offers quite the extensive menu from pasta, sandwiches and various plates though it all sounds amazing the prices were quite up there as well knowing that times are tough I couldn't see myself having French toast bites for $16.85 but badly need to refuel after a long day of errands. Seeing that they had soup of the day sounded very comforting and it was Japanese Corn Soup sounded perfect it was that along with a cup of Apple Mint Mojito sounded like the perfect combo strange as it may sound but I did enjoy it. The staff was very friendly as they brought out my items to me as I waited outside at the food court not just as it's a tiny place but no air-condition at all as it was very hot and humid in there was quite concerning and hope they have a fan or something to keep them cool which the drink certainly did that for me and I really enjoyed this refreshing sip. As for the soup it was very nice and hot and had a nice light flavor it just tasted like the instant soup I get from the store it wasn't like the corn was fresh especially since it claims to be house-made I was slightly disappointed but did come with two little pieces of garlic bread which did elevate it more still couldn't save my disappointment considering it was $9.85 over $17 with my drink, it gave me the much needed comfort as I just wanted some hot soup which I was so happy to find in the convenience right beside Don Quijote food court. Thank you!

The server took our order and brought out our drink order right away. The wait for food was close to 25 minutes, we went to dine in around 1230 so peak lunch hour. I've been here to enjoy their food and it's great. I will probably do take out next time. The staff seemed very nonchalant with no sense of urgency. It was like they all received some bad news and were just going through the motions. Overall, I'll still visit when I have a craving for some great

It's on the top floor in the food court. Parking assured with the mall. They have escalators if you park on the lower levels. Sometimes the elevators are.Operational. Have to say the food is not salty like it used to be. We had the mushroom truffle prime brisket burger. With substitute truffle fries.- ask for the sauce to be put on the side. The cook misunderstood and did make a new set of fries for us. I personally prefer light sauce. My husband had the chicken and brisket plate with his substituted with the Yum chicken. Besides include rice and the cheese bread. The location was clean and ice water was offered. We did take out as well

Don't drive too fast or you could miss it, but there's a sign on right side saying Pearl Country Club to turn into their private driveway. Free parking is plentiful and you can either enter from porte cochere or by the white vinyl fencing which is the way we enter- there's ADA parking stalls and then we walk along the pathway next to building til you get to their lanai. The view is spectacular of Pearl Harbor and greens. We love sitting on the lanai and its seat-yourself so a server will come out to give menus. The place has been bought so a complete renovation with lovely new chairs, tables, couches, even a fire pit! Inside there are TVs abound and a nice full bar with 10 seats and TV. The breakfast menu is pretty darn good and hats off to their chef! It's healthy, delicious, nice portions! We love the $17 fish breakfast with a nice piece of salmon, rice, two eggs and fruit garnish. Perfectly prepared each time! My daughter and I also enjoy the omelette which has choices of meats, veggies so we always get the vegetarian one and boy is it fat and ono! Comes with rice, potatoes or toast. What's also special is their complimentary cornbread per guest - each of us receive our own plate of two squares with butter and jelly. Service is always excellent! You'll be lucky to have either Annie, Nette or Jazlyn - Annie and Nette been there for a long time and made the switch to those newfangled-techie-handheld computers - they take our order with such grace that I'm proud of them lol Jazlyn is very sweet too and takes care of us old folks like we were her own parents. Our 2-year old granddaughter enjoys eating there too and looks forward to seeing Annie, Nette and now Jazlyn! They bring two new crayons and a cute picture of dinosaurs golfing to keep her occupied while us grownups chat. Usually not very busy if you go before the first round of golfers pau. Bathrooms are right around the corner - no stairs to access. Their pro shop is upstairs if you care to check it out. The only thing I wish they had is papaya. They do have a nice little fruit cup for $5 chock full of strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and grapes. They are having an Easter Brunch on April 20 with an extensive buffet (posted pic of menu) for $75 adults, $45 for ages 4-12 and free for kids 3 and under. This is our first time attending so will be back with a review.

If you order takeout there's one menu online but if you dine in there's a happy hour menu from 3-6 plus bar menu. The catch if you dine in is that there's a 2 drink minimum per person at regular prices. All dishes came out piping hot (except ahi poke) and fresh . The happy hour dishes were wonderful, especially the manapuas! The spicy pork cheese manapua were great and a bit different. The chasui manapua were delicious. Garlic fries were extra crispy, lots of garlic but greasy. The poke fresh and lemon pepper salt wings crispy but juicy. So all in all a great option for happy hour goodness.

Location: Kitchen Deja Vu is located inside the Blue Tropix Bar & Grill, which just so happens to be right across the Chili's from Pearlridge Center. Parking: Plenty! You can park anywhere in the Pearlridge Center parking lot Food: We ordered 5 items 1) pan fried pork cheese buns: 10/10 - pillowy soft bread expertly soaks up all the juices from the pork filling, perfectly pan fried bottom adds a bit of crunchy texture, pork filling was seasoned well and there was a decent amount of cheese inside as well (it was giving pizza flavor vibes), supposedly "spicy" but it wasn't too bad at all so this would be good even for those with a low spice tolerance 2) pulehu style short ribs: 10/10 - incredible smoked and grilled flavor, cooked and seasoned to perfection! They're not stingy either, nice portion size and a hearty amount of meat on each short rib too 3) big shrimp potstickers: 11/10 - succulent pork & shrimp filling filled to the brim of wrapper! Very on brand because these buggahs was massive and sooo tasty! Classic potsticker taste and there's a whole shrimp in there too, paired with their shoyu vinegar (I think) sauce and wooo this one was winnnahz ‍ 4) charsui udon: 10/10 - nice & chewy udon noodles and absolutely loaded with charsui and veggies that were so wonderfully stir fried allowing them to soften just a little but remain crispy, adding another layer of texture to the dish and ensuring you get a nice little crunch in every bite! 5) kau yuk (caramelized pork belly): 10/10 - big chunks of sweet & savory pork belly, but not as sweet as the name would have you think. It's actually perfectly balanced, you can definitely taste some authentic asian spices going on in there, and the meat was nice and tender Service: 11/10 We ordered take out but you can absolutely dine in if you wanted to, plenty of booths and/or tables to choose from. But I did wanna mention that we were lucky enough to meet Charlie, the owner! Really nice guy, after we gave him our order, our server Kyle took such good care of us. Checked in on us multiple times & offered to get us some water while waiting for our food. Overall: 10/10 Food was delicious, the chefs obviously know what's good, hats off to them! First time trying this place out and it didn't disappoint and love that you can also order directly from your phone through all major food delivery apps or you can even text your order in, how convenient!
