The food here was good. I made my own concoction right here. Got some shrimp and noodles added some onions and mushrooms on it with some veggies go with it. Asked for extra extra extra sauce. I like how they had some sauces at the end so I can add some sauces to it if I would like to go sauces the food was very good. We didn't have to wait that long. The staff was very nice.

Usually love this place but I got the 12 oz and the steak was super salty today. It didn't feel packed it felt kind of skimp. Couldn't finish up the food because of how salty the steak was. Otherwise they usually do a good job, today, not so much.

    Furikake salmon and steak/salmon plate

The food is not what I expected it to be , I ordered a steak and salmon plate and Furikake salmon. There was barely any steak... and the Furikake salmon wasn't even Furikake salmon. Food was just okay... NOT WORTH the $45 for these two plates.

Took way too long waiting to take my order cause worker was talking on their phone. Then ordered two steak and shrimp plates and they only gave us steak. On top of not adding any dressing for the salad. Used to be one of my favorite spots but I think the Kapolei location is way better nowadays.

Called in for a phone order and they require payment. Got the 12 oz steak and noodles(no green onions) and added mushrooms. I was very satisfied. The steak was cooked perfectly and was seasoned perfectly. They actually give a good amount of mushrooms too. The noodles were ok. They don't have bags or maybe since I just ordered one plate I wasn't asked if I needed to purchase a bag. There are a few tables and chairs for dine in. If you're in the area and craving steak, must check them out.

I had high hopes that this location was going to redeem the kapolei location, boy was I wrong! It looks good but the food quality bleh. So disappointing. The steak was 10% meat n 90% fat! Majority of the pieces I ate I had to spit out because I had to keep chewing. Rice was so mushy but the salad was good. I would say service was fast and efficient. The worker that helped us was nice and friendly. As for the noodles they should rename it CHOPPED fried noodles. There was no noodle longer than an inch. One thing for sure though is the steak was perfectly seasoned; however the noodles were basic flavored, saimin with no soup.

$18 for this rip off plate.

Stay away from this place. It's a bunch of ripe off with hair in the food. Terrible!!! Chicken was dry like it was just sitting there waiting. This place should close down! Shrimp and steak plate is a ripe off for $18.00 not worth it. Pretty much any plate is a ripe off. Once you open it, you will see what I mean.

    Steak and salmon plate 2

This is our steak and salmon plates. The rice underneath was crunchy, and that itself ruined the meal. This was at Ono steak and shrimp 2.

$25 plate what a rip off NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN

Review on Overall area and location and the cleanliness: So the lack in the two star to complete a 5 star review is only because of the Ambiance of this eatery. I will agree they have professional customer service, friendly, fast. The floors, are by far unacceptable, kind of scares me a little to know if they truly value their business. The floors doesn't look like it got cleaned for months and maybe years? It's so unsanitary to look at something this insane. I am wondering how there house looks or let alone there life to see someone let this be acceptable at all and I'm sorry I don't mean to judge but I'm a customer, I think this should be addressed immediately, I don't think you would want the Department of Health to come popping and writing you a big fine or even closing down your business. This review is on the food part: The steak was too soft and pillow for me, flavor profile is 5/10, shrimp is cooked well and is soft but is under seasoned for me. I didn't eat anything but a cup of steak. I don't think it was worth $40. The plates were both half and half so why did I only get a few little pieces of steak. For 20, there should be more food than that on the Salmon plate. It was well worth a try. I may try something different here but I'm skeptical about actually coming back to this location. Please consider deep cleaning and waxing your floors. Thank you.

Honestly, I've never been pissed off enough to write a review, but today is one of those days. First off my wife had to give her credit card info over the phone in order to place an order for ONE plate. I was hesitant after looking at the reviews for this place. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe the reviews were wrong. So my wife ordered the steak and shrimp with extra meat and mushrooms. And you know, the price is not cheap--$34 for just one plate. The shrimp tasted good, the steak was cooked ok kind of oily and salty, but the rice was very mushy and oily. So I called and told them to check their rice all the girl said was "ok". When I mentioned I was going to write a review then she said "sorry about that" I didn't ask for a refund or anything because I was already pissed off and I know it's hard to do business nowadays because of the high prices. So they can keep the charge, but I will never go back here ever again. I checked the food before getting out, but I didn't feel if the rice was mushy because, you know, most of the time, rice in restaurants like this is good. Please check your food before heading out, including the rice.

Took the new Honolulu Skyline from the Stadium to Waipahu to check it out since it's new and free this weekend. We were going to Seafood City but saw Ono Steak & Shrimp 2 and wanted to try it out for lunch. My wife and I shared the 12oz steak & Shrimp and was very happy with our order. The order was really good, the steak was cooked medium as requested and was seasoned perfectly and tender & juicy. The shrimp was really good and just enough for the both of us. The plate lunch came with rice and salad as well and it was enough for two people. Leona helped us out and she was awesome and very friendly and helpful and it was nice to talk story with her. Her husband was doing the cooking and dude was working his tail off. The kitchen was hot and orders kept coming and he kept the food flowing, great job. I really appreciated the professionalism and outstanding service from this sweet couple. I'll definitely return for some tasty grinds.

Does this look like TOSSED SALAD to you?

Disappointed with that salad. Food was ok. $20 plate? Probably wouldn't order from here again

The lasagna and Marsala were also delicious, rounding out a meal that felt homemade in the best way. We can deal with it being kinda in the ghetto of Waipahu but it was the very unhappy (clearly annoyed) counterperson who was taking our order - who SNAPPED AT MY MOM because she was confused with what comes with their plate lunch AND then the cook (assumedly - a different person than who took our order) annoyingly brought our items out to the table. She ordered the chop steak - I thought tasted ok, but it was seasoned heavier than my mom would like. Portion was right for the price. I got their signature Loco Moco burrito - SAD. It was $20, majority rice and mac salad, no meat. I needed a knife to cut the burrito in half, there was no counterperson or anyone available to ask for a knife, so I kind of looked around their register area and found a random one on the side, cut the burrito in half, DEFINITELY NOT how they showed it on TV, if the counterperson came back, I probably would have asked for them to swap it out. We were sitting for about 25 mins - nobody came back to the counter? If it wasn't for the counterpersons unfriendly attitude I was planning to buy their signature dessert to go, but I was turned off by the whole experience AND he didn't come back out anyways until literally I was throwing our containers away. He didn't greet us. Thank us. Ask how everything was. Or say anything when we were leaving. We saw the owners on TV and are happy and glad to support a local business BUT NOT when your employees are rude and unfriendly. $45 - 1 mini plate + 1 signature item and 2 cans of soda, I would SKIP this place

Our experience with Bobby started with private a tasting in their lounge of a few of the things we were hoping to have on our menu. We tried two mains, a salad and a few sides... when I say everything was a smash it, i really mean it! Our package included a third main and we honestly told him he could pick what to bring because obviously he knows how to cook- it'd be impossible to choose! For our wedding we had the kalbi shortribs, garlic shrimp, and huli huli chicken for our mains. Our salad was the one with the warm bacon dressing (OMG DELICIOUS), and we also had truffle mashed potatoes, a ratatouille, rice and i think 3 appetizers. It was ALL so good. Our guests have been raving about it since. Not only was the food to die for, but also the service before and during the wedding too! we had a few dietary restrictions to accommodate and Bobby was so easy to work with and already had ideas ready to go. Then there's the wait staff - who brought my husband and I full plates of everything first, before anyone else. So many people say they don't get to eat at their own weddings and they made sure that DIDNT happen to us. I was still so anxious that I didn't clear my plate but everything i DID eat was just as good as the tasting. The staff stayed and helped my coordinator for the rest of the night as well. After dinner they boxed up all the leftover food for us to take home and I was so happy for that! Since I didn't eat a ton at my own wedding I got to house all of the leftovers with our families. The taste, the value, the service... it really can't be beat. We've already decided we'll be tracking down his foodtruck whenever we can!
