The menus is my favorite! It's like a book with great pictures and easy to feel book like material.

The hamburger steak here is so ono and hits the spot every single time! Their pork chop is also super good and flavorful. You definitely get your money's worth with the heavy plate portions here!

Last night we decided to dine in at oh my grill instead of taking it to go. I tried something different. It reminded me of my mom's caldareta and it did not disappoint. It was so delicious and was such a comfort food! I would definitely order it again. The gaugee was crispy, hot, and delicious. Although the wasabi sauce it was paired with was not something I enjoyed. This would've probably been better paired with a sweet chilli sauce. The trio plate wasn't bad either. I enjoyed the Teri beef. The Mac salad and rice side is a pretty basic side you'd normally get with these types of plates. All in all a good dinner and the server was attentive. No complaint on my end.

The bbq chicken is very good. The regular plate comes with 2 scoops of rice and 1 scoop of Mac salad. My wife enjoys their regular kalua pork and cabbage. We did take out and service was fast. It's nice inside and they now have extended hours open until midnight. I provided menu prices below in the pictures section.

Oh My Gosh.... Grill!! We love the food here! Homemade, and made with love!! Honestly, we've never had a bad experience at this location. We've tried a bunch of things on the menu here, and they're all great! From the hamburger steak to the mochiko chicken, and the orange chicken, awesome! The mentaiko spaghetti with shrimp is also amazing!!! I get that as a treat to myself every now and then since it's a little pricey. The people we've encountered here have always been friendly and helpful. The service is also fast and efficient, for take out. I've never actually eaten inside. We'll be coming back here again and again. And again and again....

We tried it out for our first time, when we arrive no one didn't greet us. There was like 3 girls doing their thing and being inattentive. I was about to sit down with my party until a guy greeted us and ask if we are dining in or take out. So as we sat down he took our order and within 5 min or so we got our food. Food was good. For my chicken katsu can't go wrong. My husband ate his beef stew and laulau plate. I couldn't finish it so I have to take the rest to go. I really like the decor in the inside and it's very cold which is nice. But I'm not sure about coming back.

We came in about almost 5-10min to 9pm. Super slow. Only 4 other tables of couples & some had their food already. PARKING: big parking lot so don't worry don't finding parking. SERVICE:They had so much workers but we had to always flag them down. Never came up to us to ask about are food, or refills. My daughter loved the locomoco, my other half got the mochiko & it was ok. My brother didn't really like the taste of the pork chop, he said he thinks it tasted like fish not pork. My waygu burger I wanted it to be bomb dot com but it literally tasted like any other burger I've had. I've been seeing this place all over social media but the hype was not real. It was ok. I love how the inside looks. My son was impressed with the fake fire lights. They do ask you if you wanna sit on the cold side or warm side & we chose the cold side. Would we come back? Yes but once in a great while or if we're in the area late night.

Oct 2025 Special Chicken Katsu (Regular - $9.99)

The newest, rapidly expanding, and easily best of the big three Chinese plate lunch spots on Island. The other two being L&L and Loco Moco. Keep your expectations in check. This isn't an old school place with decades of history or an up end spot with a true chef behind it. Just local plate lunch staples, Chinese style. Expect Chinese spics in the curry and stew, dark soy sauce marinated teriyaki items, bought in premade breaded shrimp, and sweet / sour katsu sauce. Get a mixed plate and you'll end up with curry on rice, topped with teri beef topped by a hamburger steak with gravy over all. All good, get's mixed up in the stomach right? So why is it the "best" of the chains? - Perfectly braised, fork tender, not dry and stringy beef in the curry. Said curry is also loaded with melting root veg. - Well seasoned, not rubbery, house made hamburger steak. - Well made dripping brown gravy. Not packaged. - Well cooked chicken katsu. Crisp, not oily, juicy and well seasoned. There are misses like using a dirt cheap cut for the teri beef with so much sinew that you'll think it's your dog's chew toy. Check their website for monthly specials. (The Oct 2025 is a regular chicken katsu plate for just $9.99). Online ordering a huge plus. It won't wow but when sustenance is important, this delivers a better meal than the rest.

I ordered food from them via DoorDash before and wanted to try dining in. Came here for a late lunch/early dinner with my family. We were seated right away and it was freezing... I loved how the menu had pictures, especially for my immigrant parents who I have to always explain everything to them. It made ordering so easy & smooth. They had everything a regular Hawaiian plate lunch would have PLUS desserts, drinks & some other local fave dishes like cake noodles! They also had Wagyu steak & burgers, which I thought was interesting. Servers were ok. Not the best but not the worst service I had. They forgot some of our items a few times but seeing that they were busy, it's ok. I really loved their chicken katsu so decided to get that & wanted to also try their sweet & sour spareribs. The katsu was good like always the spareribs was also good but a bit tough. My dad got the chicken katsu curry which he liked. My mom got the bbq mix plate which she had no complaints about. I also tried their soup of the day "clam chowder". It was very watery and lacked flavor. Overall, this restaurant has decent food and really affordable prices. I feel like it's a little bit more upscale plate lunch place when dining in. I want to come back and try other dishes in the future.

    Cute table decor & settings

For the type of restaurant Oh My Grill is, the wife & I agree, they fully earned 5 stars. The place was spotless, the AC was working (a blessing in Pearl City heat), TV and music playlist kept us company (but I gotta admit, it was too loud with inappropriate explicits), but - most importantly - the food was on point. Today was our first visit, thanks to my wife seeing Raina Huang's "burger challenge" on YouTube (cue my facepalm!). She just had to see what that burger was about. On screen it looked yummy, but in person? Even better. I'd compare it to the Kunia Loco Moco BBQ Burger... only this one wins - hands down. To our pleasure, the patty screamed homemade. From the size to the taste to the look to the perfect char and moistness... I'm a sucker for a thick, juicy burger now and then, and today, Oh My Grill absolutely delivered! I really enjoyed my BBQ Cheeseburger. Even the crinkle fries were golden brown, perfectly fried and salted... ugh... me was happy! :) One thing that surprised us was the table service. I guess I didn't check enough reviews to see that "to-go but dine inside" wasn't an option here. It appeared to be staged as an actual dine-in restaurant. So if you order "to-go" that means you can take your a** home and eat there lol jk! Idk. I didn't investigate. I just saw that everyone eating indoors was being served by a staff member. I did spot a couple of families enjoying their food outside, tho. They have 4 outdoor 4-tops (I think). Anyways, they have a big menu with lots to choose from. L&L type of menu. Prices are fair, too. We'll be back! :)

My husband and I were craving for their Teriyaki Cheeseburgers so we decided to dine in at their Pearl City location. You are greeted when you walk in because they ask if you want to dine in or take out. The atmosphere was nice, I like how comfortable the chairs were. We've tried their burgers before and we wanted to have them again. We ordered the burgers, the soup of the day which was potato soup and fried noodles with spam for our daughter. We wished all of our food came out at the same time but the burgers came out first. We ordered the noodles for our daughter and it came out way later. The server had to come by multiple times to apologize about the wait. The soup and noodles were okay. We took photos of these but forgot to take a photo of the burgers. We ate them so quick. Of course we will be back, we loved the portions and we will probably try other food on the menu.

When the plate lunch hits hard and the aloha hits even harder!! Every table was filled when we arrived, and we still waited less than 5 minutes... talk about efficiency! The staff was on it, moving with purpose, smiles, and serious hustle. Even with the crowd, food came out fast, hot, and absolutely ono. You could tell the crew was busting their bunz to keep everyone happy, and it showed. Our Ohana went all in: kalua pig & cabbage, the legendary Oh My Pac, BBQ mixed plate, chicken katsu, teri burger, and fried rice that all smacked. Local grindz like these don't just feed you, they hug your soul. Even in a busy lot, the parking wasn't that bad either. Aloha spirit, killer food, and top-tier service? Yes please. Now I've gotta try all of their locations!

The service was friendly and helpful and they even have signage that helps show you how to navigate your poke and rice options. The calamari had big pieces to chew through and I was sad to see that the sauce for this dish was the same as the dressing for the salad (ginger sesame dressing). Super disappointed with the crazy service tonight…read more I placed an order outside using the kiosk for just a chicken katsu special at 5:52 PM since it was crowded inside and ended up waiting 45 minutes for that one plate. It wasn't just the waiting, it was the service and lack of communication that pushed it over. After placing my order, I entered the restaurant and waited on the side since there wasn't a place to sit and wait. The worker who was stationed at the front soon came back and asked "How can I help you?" and I mentioned that I ordered on the kiosk outside and she walked away without saying anything. Around 10 minutes in I noticed the worker mentioning to every person in line only after they tried to order that the wait would be 30 minutes for anything on the grill since they had a big order. The questions that came to mind every time a person attempted to order was "why wouldn't she tell them that they would have to wait 30 minutes from the beginning before they even tried to order so they could reevaluate if their orders needed the grill?" And "what items are not on the grill?" Every person in line would get frustrated as she wouldn't even show what items didn't need the grill.. They would say "Okay I want to order this instead" and she would keep saying "that's on the grill so you have to wait 30 minutes." Like they were supposed to know.. Who wouldn't get frustrated? Time went on and I found myself still waiting at 6:30 PM. When i heard her mentioning the chicken katsu wouldn't take long since it's not on the grill. No update, just me sitting on those high chairs obviously waiting for my order. It's worse because you don't get a buzzer for using the kiosk. I decided to ask about my order but still had to wait in line to talk to that same worker. When it was eventually my turn, I said "I wanted to check on my order" and showed her a picture of the kiosk with the order number because the kiosk didn't print a receipt for me and rudely responded with "Your order's already ready" and just handed it to me.. Excuse me? No one even bothered to tell me it was ready and she spoke to me like I was supposed to know it was ready. How long was it ready that I was wasting my time waiting there? Also, please fix the option on the kiosk when you select the chicken katsu; it should have the option or be defaulted with "White rice & mac salad" like your app. The kiosk is misleading and doesn't say you don't need to select "all rice" or the other up-charge options. So when she gave it to me and she said all rice I explained to her that I thought it was making me choose an option and she got defensive and said "No it doesn't." She eventually took it to the back to put mac salad then returned and rudely told me "Next time just don't select an option." Wow. It was not my fault that no one called me to tell me my order was ready. It was not my fault there was a flood of orders during dinner time. I like Oh My Grill but please do better with the customer service, especially with the person who's in charge at the front. I understand that it gets overwhelming when it's busy but the communication and customer service was just the worst. No one deserves to be treated like that especially when we come often. This was such a horrible experience.. Maybe won't come back for a while.
