We were starving after a day of digging for diamonds at the crater diamond State Park. Unfortunately, not lucky there, but found this place to be lucky. We haven't been here in years. We thought we would give it a try for lunch. I had the cobb salad. I love cobb salad, but I should have read their description more carefully. This was NOT a Cobb Salad. It had most of the ingredients correct, but that's about it. The worst part was they saturated it in a balsamic dressing that was the only thing you could taste. My husband said his club sandwich was so so, nothing special. The waiter was also so so. I was a waitress all the way through college, so I know how it works. So, check your bills, because they snuck little charges on here and there. For example-if you get 2 sauces with something they'll charge you $.50 without it stating that on the menu or telling you verbally. With the bon chicken & shrimp, it says with your choice of rice or fettuccine. Due to a glitch in the system they charge you $1 for the fettuccine, which they will take off. Ribs were excellent, bon bon chicken and shrimp were good, but the orange chicken and 4 cheese pasta was not eaten. The pasta lacked flavor and the noodles were overcooked. The server was great but brought out bbq sauce instead of cocktail sauce for our calimari, and he did it for the table next to ours as well. I'd go here for ribs but nothing else. read more

Walked in on a Thursday evening and there were a some tables already filled so that looked promising. Quickly greeted and seated. That's where it stopped. Once our waiter got our drinks that was a wrap. Service went down hill. We are visiting so we took a few minutes to look over the menu with no suggestions of what the waiters favorite thing was or their house speciality. Also me and my spouse saw complimentary bread on the tables but our waiter was no where to be found so we asked another waiter who promptly got it for us and even checked in on us. Our server (Josh) was friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of us even though he just had finished serving an entire basketball team. I ordered the Orange Chicken and chased it with a beer. I sekected it because it's one of my go-tos in any Chinese restaurant... and seeing it on this menu intrigued me. It was easily the best orange chicken I've ever had. I am leaning more to the three stars because my dish did not look like the picture. The children was more well done or even close to burned. I failed to mention we ordered the calamari for an appetizer. It is nothing to brag about. It tasted like it came straight from a frozen box. The sauce was very bland. We went here on a recommendation from a retail worker, it did not disappoint. Our waitress was awesome and food was amazing. Drinks: King Kong and (can't remember the name) local amber beer (610???), so good! In house bread and pesto oil while you wait for food, amazing!
