I booked Brittany's welcome package- $79 for her $100 enzyme peel package. Simply put: It was incredible! I've had many facials and Brittany ranks at the very top. Lately I've been dealing with some problematic hormonal, 20's acne paired with mild scarring from the glory teenage years. After looking at my skin and talking with me, Brittany recommended the Blueberry Enzyme Peel since it was targeted for acne but still mild. She explained what she would be doing the entire time, checking to make sure the peel wasn't too strong for me. Somehow, Brittany even managed to make the ever-dreaded extractions less painful and she did them quickly! She finished with a moisturizer and sunscreen. My skin felt so clean afterwards, with very little redness that peels can sometimes cause. During my facial, Brittany and I talked about my skincare routine and she made some recommendations to help out, one being a new face wash. She gave me plenty of cheaper alternatives to the one they sold there, which I really appreciated, but I decided to go with the one she had. I've been using the new face wash for over a week and I am seeing fast results, which I am so grateful for. 3 days after my peel, my face looked great. I wanted to update my review because I am so grateful to BLH Beauty. Having suffered from acne almost my entire life, and relying constantly on medication (Accutane when I was a teen, antibiotics, etc), I recently got pregnant and had to stop using Spironolactone, which had been a godsend up until that point. I was so worried about stopping medication for acne, and on top of that I was nervous about the effects of all the new hormones. So I made time to go every month to see Brittany for a facial, and she even gave me products that are safe to use while pregnant. As a result, my face has never looked this healthy, glowing, and acne-free and I'm on ZERO medication. I just wish I'd made the decision to go to BLH Beauty sooner, instead of relying on all types of medication and managing the terrible side effects. I went to go see Brittany 2/24/19. I didn't get anything done with her because she examined my face and discovered that she couldn't do anything for my "acne" to go away. She proceeded with letting me know that what I had on my face was more severe than regular acne because it was a form of bacteria and needed antibiotics. She did not charge me for the consultation, so sweet of her. Overall, I thought she was really well educated on skin care because when I went to the dermatologist the next day, I was told that what she had predicted was true. Finding Brittany is a blessing! You can say my acne was more on the mild side but there's never a month that I don't get an inflamed one.
