I am gonna keep this real short and simple ladies!!! Take the train here! Parking is asinine! Worth the visit though. I didn't wait long, I got to be my finicky, priss self and relish in the moment of describing EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED... Took about an hour, very gentle and attentive. But the results were perfect and I am hard to please!! Haven't been back for a while though, because its a lengthy travel for me but I can't wait to go back! My lashes lasted A MONTH!! Showers, wild sleeping and all before it a was noticeable that I needed a refill. Will visit the new location! Oh and pay with cash! I paid $120.00... Whew!! Its cheaper when you don't use your credit card.. and pee first! Hard to go in between your installation with the glue still setting, the glue burns when its not completely dry... only downside.. read more

It's somewhat bittersweet to be writing this post. I've been a customer of Bling Lash since 2013 when there was just one location on 14th Street. I'll just state the obvious, I'm addicted to lashes. Every time someone would compliment my lashes, I'd refer them to Bling. However now, I'm parting ways with the company. Honestly, I feel the company has expanded and loss touch with the value of customer service and customer retention. With the expansion of the company (opening a second location on 23rd Street as well as a nail salon) the prices continue to increase, but the level of customer service continues to decrease. Over the years I've had more than a few customer service related issues and to the company's defense, Tim, the owner handled them efficiently. One of my biggest issues is that after almost 3 years of patronage, I feel I am still treated like a stranger. I thought loyalty was appreciated by businesses, but BlingLash removed their loyalty program that I had earned thousands of points on. When I questioned the decision, I was told they no longer had a loyalty program and to somehow compensate Tim offered half off nail services (at their new nail spa). When I tried to redeem the offer, I was told I could only get half off one service. There seems to be a disconnect between management and the staff which leads to frustration on my part. Needless to say, I never redeemed the offer. Just recently the Bling started a new rewards program, that like the previous rewards plan would give clients money off future services. However my rewards started from $0. Once again showing me that my loyalty doesn't really matter. Another issue I have with Bling is the turnover of their technicians. Like with many women who seek beauty services, I prefer to be able to go to the same technician to ensure that I am consistently getting my lashes done the way I like them. Over the last 2.5 years, I've been through at least 4 technicians due to turnover. I've tried several other technicians who I was assured where "just as good", but I was never completely happy with my lashes. The last straw for me was after my last appointment approximately 3 weeks ago when I asked why I was charged varying rates each time I would come (approximately every two week). The the representative of the company (who appeared new because I don't remember seeing her before) was extremely rude, slowing down her speech as if I was incapable of understanding English. She said she would pull up my payment history, but only pulled up the previous payment. Sadly, I think it's time for me to try another lash extension provider. I've left my review for the 14th street location but I am compelled to leave one for the 23rd street one since I frequent this location more often. I have not one complaint. I like to book my appts on line for an additional 5% off. They are always punctual for my appts. And I am as well. They have water and tea for you there. The location is clean and well lit. Their tools are sterilized with autoclaves and they wash their hands and wear gloves and masks. I usually fall asleep when I'm getting my lashes done. I do use the sensitive glue because my eyes were itchy after one session. Since the sensitive glue, no issues. I prob go every 2-3 weeks. They usu last for 3 weeks. If ever I thought my lashes weren't curled enough or any issue, bling lash has fixed for me without charge. Once I went there 1-2 days later and she was so meticulous. She fixed them and no charge. I did tip though. I tip 20% each time which is what they expect and is pretty standard for this business. They give a free hand and foot massage. I usu tip about $3. The manager is very sweet and she has always assisted me. I recommend this place. My lashes and my nails are always kept up. It makes me feel like a girly girl!! read more

Nice ambience and I had a pleasant nail tech. But they ridiculously charged me $25 for gel removal. I specifically asked for just gel removal, no manicure and just a clear coat but got charged for entire manicure. I was so confused so I kept asking them to clarify but apparently because they applied oil to my cuticles it was a manicure. Apart from that it was a good experience but just left with sour taste because of such an expensive gel removal. read more

(The first time I went they literally just opened so it was a different experience) 1. They offer you any beverage you want including wine and tea. 2. There nail designs are awesome (expensive but real cool) and the nail artists are talented. 3. When my nails were wet they gave me a touch phone stick so I can browse my Instagram with wet nails 4. They disinfected my sneakers- yes you heard me right, I was just as confused but they took my sneakers and disinfected and cleaned them.lol 5. You get a hot towel on your neck and a massage. Had a weird experience here. I can't speak for the lash services, but I came because of a Gilt voucher for a manicure, made an appointment for 3:30, wasn't attended to until 4:15 (I had to leave by 5, but couldn't). I also witnessed the same thing happen to 3 other customers within the 1+ hour that I was partially having my nails done and partially waiting for the technicians to run around frantically attempting to keep patrons from leaving because of their wait times. Plus, my manicure (although beautiful) peeled off completely in a week. Wouldn't go back nor recommend. read more

All the staff was really sweet and were able to help me find a lash style that would satisfy me. When I got there, the receptionist went to get her, Rosa came out to see who I was, went back in and 10 seconds I heard an outburst of laughter. The receptionist said she was with someone and would I allow someone else to fill in. I will not be going back. Below was my first time. Great pedicure with Rosa. I am super demanding when it comes to pedicures and I was not disappointed. I do not like my cuticles cut and she listened and asked if it was ok to file them. I only like my cuticles pushed back and it is rare to find someone that doesn't just go ahead and cut or file them out of habit. She took her time to get every detail just right. I have been coming here for a little under a year, and while I think they do a fine job, there are a few things that I've noticed as of recent. 1. I think generally they do a good job on new lashes rather than fills. I've realized that when I get fills, they usually end up gluing multiple lashes to one area. Lately, it got so bad that I couldn't even brush through my lashes. 2. There are definitely some technicians that are better than others and are quicker than others. Sometimes a 2 week fill takes an hour and sometimes 2, so be prepared for that unpredictability. 3. I seem to pay a different price every time I go there, even though I get generally the same type of lashes every time. 4. I've had the technician disregard my requests for style and ended up putting on SUPER LONG (15') lashes when I usually get 13' The positives: 1. Last minute appointments are easy to get 2. Free massage 3. Friendly staff 4. Good for NEW lashes but fills tend to get full of glue and icky. I have started to explore other lash options in NYC and while I may return to bling lash, I am not 100% on only going here. They aren't horrible but not the best lashes I've ever had. read more

My husband and I really enjoyed our pedicures here today!! The staff were super friendly and attentive. We made the appointment last minute and didn't have time to change into the appropriate pants to roll up. I explained I'd probably have to skip the best part, i.e. massage and scrub. She then told me they kept garments on hand to change into! How smart is that?! All in all, wonderful experience. It pains me to write this because I used to love this business. The quality of work and the customer service has gone down since they reopened after the pandemic. Staff turnover has been extremly high. Last few appts Ive booked with a tech and when ive come in they have notified me the tech isnt available. Basically giving me no option ( take time off work or lunch break) but to get serviced with another tech. Not calling to let me know before hand so that I can reschedule etc. Today I came in and the tech did my lashes wrong, she applied the incorrect size. I noticed after opening my eyes and let her know she offered no resolution. I went to the reception and explained what happened and not the greatest customer service by the gentleman in the front. he wasnt rude but he just asked questions that made it seem like I dropped the ball. Asked if I always get that size etc. I asked if I can come back the next day and have them fixed as I needed it to look even for my daughters graduation. He said "For free?". They thought I should pay again for their mistake? makes no sense. Funny thing is she is the tech I requested who did my lashes the last time. I still paid the almost $100 plus tip. They made me another appt to fix it. The other receptionist just called me now at 6:45pm (appt was at 10am) to confirm and I ask her there should be a note in there about my lashes being fixed for free and guess what no mention. Note said coming in to fix lashes. Had to explain again what happen and hoepfully when I go sunday to fix it there isnt an issue. read more

I came here on the recommendation of a friend and have since become a loyal customer! The space is modern, clean, and very comfortable, making it very easy to relax and close your eyes during the appointment. I have been coming here about once a month to get my eyelash extensions done and I am always thrilled with the results. Since they recently added a nail spa, I've even been getting my gel manicure and eyelash extensions done at the same time (I love multitasking)! My only complaint is that there is a big range in skill/efficiency among the different technicians. I could request the same person to do my lashes every time, but I usually just book online to get the 5% discount. It's a little frustrating because I never know exactly how long my appointment is going to take. The shortest appointment I ever had was just over an hour, while the longest has been about two and a half hours. I think Bling overall does a good job of applying eyelash extensions and I've been happy with most of my experiences there. However an ongoing issue for me is that they don't keep a running record of what work you had done last. As a result I today chose an eyelash length that was too long and am unhappy about it. I don't go every 3 weeks and suppose that's part of the problem, but still. If I keep coming here, I will need to keep track but I know there are other lash services out there who do that for you. Also they've changed their online booking policy so you can no longer select your technician. I also now keep a running track of who did my lashes (the girl today was not as good as the others I've had - she was pinching my eyelids during the taping process which felt very uncomfortable). The online booking option is convenient and you also save 5% but not having control over which tech will work with you is a downturn. Finally,the music playing today was really cheezy. I'm a professional musician and hearing that new-age piano track played by a very sub-par musician was torture, once my iTunes tracks ran out. No way to let the owners know via their website or any kind of suggestion box, so having to do it on Yelp instead. read more

Found my new favorite spot. They have great quality lashes, are clean, super knowledgable and careful when applying. Love the free massages. They are definitely all over the up-sale, but you really do get a better product when you purchase the more expensive set. Their loyalty program is enticing, you get a percentage of what you pay towards your next visit. The 23rd location is pretty busy with people talking, walking around, and general street noise (inevitable) so it was a little hard for me to totally zone out during my lash session, but it didn't seem to bother other people that were snoozing. I got my lashes done last night and I noticed some fell out after I left, and again when I woke up this morning. I get my lashes done pretty regularly, but this is my first time at Bling Lash. It's very clean and sleek looking place with a relaxing ambience. I always fall asleep when they do my lashes and wake up refreshed. You usually get a free hand and foot massage during your appointment as well. As far as customer service, I feel like they are pretty good and within reason. My eyelash extensions were falling out quicker than I thought was normal and they let me come in for a free, quick fix after their technician and manager looked at it to determine if it was excessive or not, which I feel is fair, since eyelash extensions fall out naturally all the time. They were also able to accommodate me the same day that I called. If you book online you get 5% off and if you pay in cash you get another 5% off. I have received the eyelash perm service and I am loving it! I have a lot of eyelashes but they are short and straight. Even if I use eyelash curler, they don't stay curled. After I got this perm, I don't have to use eyelash curler anymore! Actually I don't even have to use mascara! They look full and pretty even without any makeup. The service was about an hour long. At first I was taken aback by the expensive manicure cost but this place is right by my office and I figured I'd give them a try. $25 for a basic mani (cuticles, trim/file, polish) and after 2 days, my polish started to chip. 4 days later I had to remove the polish completely. I also got classic organic spa pedicure here, and SO FAR SO GOOD! Only qualm would be that they state the whole process takes about an hour, but the technician was finished within 30 minutes. For a spa pedicure, I would assume they would take more time and be more thorough. The spa itself is gorgeous and incredibly spacious.
