Movers arrived around 8:35, got into the house around 8:45 to start doing work. Marked their start time at 8:30, finish 12:15, my hunch was they bill on 30 minute increments and since they worked 3.5 hours instead of 3.75, they were trying to round up for another hour. The person who arranged my move, Matt, later tried to claim they billed me 4 hours, because there was 30 minutes of travel time....yet that was not on the actual bill anywhere. If they included travel time to the job-site, they should have billed me for 4.5 hours, if they actually started at 8:30, or if they were supposed to include travel time, their start time should have been 8:00, not 8:30. Seems like Matt was just trying to cover his butt. Workers did complete their job, mostly competently. I had requested a full service pack and load, as confirmed in the screenshot below. Workers used over 20 boxes that I purchased, bubble wrap and tape, in addition to their own supplies. And still ran out of boxes when packing the last room. They had to break into some spare boxes that I had. They did not bring a wardrobe box that I had specifically requested, and ended up having to wrap all my hanging clothes in garbage bags. Movers also ignored my instructions regarding loading the heaviest items first, they waited until the truck was mostly packed before loading on one of the heaviest items, a rolling kitchen island pictured below. They then proceeded to load another 100-200lbs of items on top of this rolling kitchen island, which caused the wheels on the bottom to break (photos below) They also caused some other minor damage, by improperly packing a bookshelf on top of about 20 boxes, and loading a box with some protruding equipment underneath it, the bookshelf was punctured. They also improperly loaded some posters, because they didn't have the proper boxes to pack them, which were damaged. According to their contract, apparently anything made out of particle board isn't covered, even if they pack it shoddily because they didn't bring the right supplies. Nice cop out on the bookshelf I reached out to Matt Skop, who was in charge of my move. I let him know of my concerns, that I would like my deposit returned, and that I felt I was overbilled by 30 minutes on labor. He proceeded to blame me as if I was somehow responsible for the fact that his moving team improperly/unsafely loaded the truck, and insinuated that I somehow damaged the things inside of the truck? Finally, despite taking a $100 deposit to book the move, they charged me the full amount on the bill, and when I reached out to Matt regarding the Deposit, he responded that he was unable to repay me the deposit, and asked for details to send the money, then stopped responding to emails entirely. I filed a complained against this company with both the Mass attorney General and the BBB, for all the good it will do. Moving team was pleasant and had they been given the proper supplies to complete the work they were assigned, I'm sure this would have been a much more pleasant experience. Do not recommend, Matt was very rude in responding to my concerns, and in addition to refusing to refund my deposit, also refused to apologize or take responsibility for any of the actions of his team, or provide any sort of refund/reimbursement for any damages despite his team doing a sub-par job, and not having the appropriate materials to complete their work. While the guys are *nice* enough, they were HOURS late at origin. Shattered a lamp while packing! HOURS late at destination. Broke a cabinet and then CHARGED me for the time it took to fix it. One of my tables is all scratched up. My jewelery cabinet has a dent in it. And there's probably MUCH WORSE because all of my stuff is still in boxes. They were so late they couldn't unpack, so I have to. $1800 to move a couple of miles! DO NOT RECOMMEND. Seriously you could do just as bad of a job as these guys and save a ton of money by renting a Uhaul. read more

They were polite, pretty fast, and nothing broke, but that's about all the nice things I can say. My original appointment was 130, they called me that morning and said they'd be there at 230. Then in the afternoon they called again and said they'd be late, and finally at 330 they showed up. One of the guys smelled strongly of weed. They had a hard time removing some furniture, so they took one of my doors off, then they put it on wrong and tried to leave it like that. It took them half an hour to put it back on correctly and it still doesn't close like it did before. And finally, they advertised to me as "local", then charged me for the 60 minute drive to my house (they were advertised on Thumbtack as being closer). My original quote was $350-450, and they charged me $550. Then when you pay with a card (they won't take a check) they charge you a 3% "convenience" fee. So I paid an extra $17 just to pay them. My things got from A-Z safely, but any other company could have done that for $150 less, and without messing up my door. read more

I could give this company 0 stars after still dealing with our move back in July. My fiance and I had specifically told them from the sidewalk not to back in because of the electric garage door. Proceeding to do so, the back of the truck got stuck while the door had started to go down because of the timer. Because the back of the truck was a few inches below the door, it could not sense the flat box truck in time to stop from going down, causing damage to the paneling and even more so when pulling forward to get out. When my fiance asked for their insurance, they had told him it "was not a big deal and a building like this should take care of it". At this time, we had called our landlord to come down. Once she spoke to them the story completely changed on their end and they proceeded to tell her it was our fault for the garage door going down and they were not held responsible. Since then they have lied about their address, their "boss" who was actually the main guy on the job and their insurance company. Nobody can get in contact with them now. This has resulted in me losing my $2,000 security deposit with my building. Additionally, they charged me $100 for a deposit that was not taken out of my final cost. For a move that was quoted $716-850 it cost us $1,230 PLUS our $2,000 insurance. read more

Probably the best moving experience i've ever had, my job periodically requires me to move state to state. Whenever i had my move with a different moving companies there is always some kind of issues, it could be a punctuality issue, or the worst when the damage happens. I've had very delicate furniture and i was worried that something could happen to the furniture, but fortunately company turned out to be highly professional. They showed up right on assigned time and they did the job very fast and the most important there was not a single damage thanks to the companies wrapping system.
