My lashes always last me 2-3 weeks before needing a fill & appointments is usually anywhere from 1.5-2 hours, which is the normal. The vibe inside is super relaxing, like a spa. The beds are comfy & I knock out every time I come in lol. They offer blankets if you're cold & little pillow to put under your legs or your back. There is a parking lot & lots of street parking so finding a spot shouldn't be an issue. I've tried out multiple different lash techs here and am never dissatisfied. There isn't a parking lot but you can try to find parking on the street in the front of the store or in the neighborhood that's around the corner. It's a safe neighborhood so I wasn't worried about my car. Walking inside, it's one huge room with multiple lashing stations divided by a curtain. It was empty when I was there, just me and the girl who gave me my lash lift and tint. I didn't catch her name, but she was so sweet!! She gave me a run down of the various lashes they offered, I told her that I would eventually come back to get my lashes done and she had great recommendations for what I was interested in. My favorite thing about this place was the lashing bed! It was cushioned with a foam mattress pad, it put me straight to sleep! The process of getting the lash lift and tint went so smooth. I didn't feel any burning, the tech had the softest touch, and I felt really comfortable. I highly recommend trying our Lash Glow if you're interested in getting your lashes done! By the way, check in on their tablet when you arrive so you can rack up 10 visits for $10 off (we love a loyalty moment). She walked me through all the lash options and even showed me the lengths before we started, which I appreciated because I'm picky but also indecisive. The setup is a communal space with curtain-separated stations, and honestly? Cozy vibes. The bed was comfy, there were blankets available (yes please), and everything felt clean and professional. I saw Catherine sanitize her hands before getting started, which immediately put me at ease. Now the real test: the glue. I insisted on the super sensitive (blue) glue, and you guys... The glue is also super clumpy that sometimes I'd get eye irritation. Now my natural lashes are short and have holes from the extension glue ripping them out. The service is always super quick which is nice, but sometimes a fill only takes 15 minutes and half of the lashes would be gone by the 10 day mark. This shows that quality is compromised because of the fast service. When I first came to Ms Kawaii, my lashes would stay full for 4-5 weeks. Now my lashes are almost gone in 10 days. There's also an old lady that works there that was super rude! I wanted a particular style but she pushed for a different style. When I said I didn't want it, she did not seem happy and proceed to do a horrible job! I texted the manager and they gave me a partial refund but I have to pay for removal. Unsure how I feel about this resolution, especially since I always pay $90+ each time I come (before tip!!) Definitely don't come here if you care about your lash health. Their new Temple City location is spacious, aesthetically girly, clean, and calm. Each lash tech has their own space with walls that separate them. The lashing beds are comfy, they offer blankets and I always find myself falling asleep because it's so comfortable. Shoutout to Taya Tian!! She's my go to lash girl, I only book when she's available. She's friendly, fun to talk to, and has the softest touch. I can barely feel her lashing me, I end up taking a nice (and much needed) nap! When my time was cut short, I showed her that ad again and tried to explain it to her, then she took it to someone I did not see and said $40, 30 minutes. Not only did I not get the full hour as advertised, but I was cut short by 10 minutes. I left unsatisfied. Massage wasn't all that to go back to that place of business.
