I wanted to love this so bad haha such a cute atmosphere friendly staff you can tell it's mom and pop and the kids helping out. We ordered two drinks and two ice creams but after receiving one the machine didn't work anymore and we had to get a smoothie to replace it and the chai was OK. However the lavender tea was wonderful! We loved that. With a bit of tuning this location can be really something special. read more

Bliss is absolutely incredible and such an amazing addition to the Hudson Valley food scene! I've never had smoothies/juices before that clearly have as much care and thought put into the deliciousness and balance of flavors as any meal at an excellent restaurant. We were excited to finally get to Bliss to try their smoothie bowls. Bliss is a welcome addition to the neighborhood! I had the dragonfruit bowl and husband had the açaí bowl. The base price is $11 and includes three toppings. Any additional topping is $1 each. The toppings can really add up, and I'm not sure all toppings are created equal ($1 for an extra topping of fruit? Ok, sure. $1 for a drizzle of honey? Maybe .50-.75 cents would be a bit fairer for some toppings). Although the portion of smoothie in the bowl was really substantial, the toppings were a bit sparse for the amount of smoothie. Maybe part of that is because we ordered to go and they had to be able to fit the lids on. What we ordered, we both really enjoyed! We felt the fruit was fresh and all the toppings -- especially my granola topping (gluten free granola is the default here) were tasty. There are three granola flavor options: original (honey), chocolate, and seasonal (cranberry spice during my Jan. 2020 visit). Although Bliss is a little pricy, maybe just a touch pricer than other spots we come to for smoothie bowls (came to ~ $30 with two smoothie bowls with no extra toppings and two Med coffees), I appreciate the extra thought that went into the wooden spoons, compostable coffee cups, and recycled paper napkins. Being kinder to our Earth (unfortunately) tends to cost more, so I'm betting that's reflected in the pricing. Although Bliss may not be able to be a super frequent stop for us, I look forward to returning for an occasional treat. There are many smoothies and avocado toasts I'd like to try next time. It's worth a visit for sure! I'm fine paying a little more when I really enjoy the taste and quality of the product. A few tips: 1) there's a punch card at the register: after 10 visits, you can redeem it for one free smoothie or juice -- not for smoothie bowls though :( 2) there's a walk-up window in summer months so you don't have to go inside 3) there's a patio in the parking lot with picnic tables 4) kid-friendly: there is an enclosed kid (toddler) play area with some blocks/toys 5) free wi-fi (password on the chalk board near the drink cooler), but you may not want to hunker down here for work as it can be very loud with the blenders (probably obvious, but maybe worth noting) 6) they serve local brand brewtus coffee (located near the four corners). 7) smoothies/bowls are made with almond milk (though oat milk was spotted in the cooler so maybe that's an option). read more

Absolutely delicious! I was visiting from out of state and my hosts brought me here for breakfast. I'm in love! Everything is fresh and delicious. I wish there was a Bliss near where I live - I'd be here everyday. We ended up returning here the next morning after our walk on the Rail Trail. I was able to try the Blue Mermaid (spirulina, peach, banana, almond milk) and Mother of Dragon (dragon fruit, banana, pineapple, mango, almond milk). Then, you get to choose 3 toppings for your bowl - granola, fresh berries, goji berries, coconut, cacao nibs, etc. if toast is more to your liking ...OMG the avocado toast is soooooo good!!!! Can't say enough positive about this place. It's a must go!!!! read more

Got a BYO salad. It was advertised as coming with "a scoop of original hummus and 4 toppings and dressing of your choice." I got no hummus, and a tablespoon of brown avocado mush. Not worth $15. I had just moved back to New York State after being a military wife for a while and was desperate to find a good smoothie place that didn't fill the cup with syrups and had all natural fruits. Imagine my happiness to find this place right down the road after living in the area for over a year. This stuff is WAY better than Whole Foods smoothie booth. The food is fantastic and you feel great after you eat! I've had the toasts, smoothie bowls and smoothies. They keep slowly expanding their menu while still maintaining health and nutritious foods. You can also expect seasonal specials that are always really good. It has an open floor plan so you can see them making your food and it is decoration is really cute. It is conveniently located right next to the Delmar Trails so it is a great stop for a health boost after your workout and they even made a little kid area in case you bring your tots. read more
