What a great place! I've had two treatments there now and both were incredible. First, I had the Chakra massage. I was one of the best massages I have ever had and included some great stretching. My friend and I have been looking for several years for a spa that offered Shirodhara. She had it in Mexico and loved it, so I was dying to try it too. WE scheduled for Heaven and Earth packages and received an amazing experience. The massages were something special with the use of special techniques and oils and the Tibetan Bowls were incredible. You can feel the vibration and tone inside your body! Warning, you will be an oily creature when leaving so don't plan a lunch or something after! But, the oils left my hair silky and shiny after a warm shower. Just terrific. The facial was very good and left my dry desert skin in great hydration. I think I would have preferred facial first because the massage was such a spiritual and relaxing experience. The spa is very lovely, the ladies working there are cordial and warm and all sanitary practices followed. A tad hard to find. Park next to the bank and the spa is on the backside of the building. Across from Paseo shopping. Please consider this spa if you're looking to book. It will rank up there with your favorites. I'll be back on next visit to the Palm Springs area. read more

Much to my disappointment I wasn't able to book any spa treatments at the resort where I staying because of the 3 day weekend. As an Esthetician and massage therapist vacation retreats are very special to me. I came across Bliss Chakra spa and was pleased to see a wonderful selection of services. I called while on route to Palm desert because the call back time was listed as 10 minutes where most were 2 to 4 hours. It was no surprise when the fellow said the only appoints were late on the day we were to leave. When I said I could only come in the morning, he offered to check to see if he could fit me in and get right back to me. I began checking at other locations when once again I got a call within 10 minutes to say he found time for me. I was delighted to find a blissful space tucked away off the main street. My massage and facial were perfect with singing bowls and lovely organic products. I will return next time I'm in town. read more

I attended a recent "sound bath" performed by Bill, the owner of the spa, and WOW! It was definitely a 5 star experience! I also toured his spa facilities, and they are equally as phenomenal to his prowess with sound therapy healing! This is truly a spiritual "gem" in the desert! It's small, cozy, elegant, and packed full of healing energy. The energy of the spa reminds me of a retreat that I can attend locally. I will definitely be back! read more

While visiting with friends and staying in Palm Desert, Carol told me about the most amazing massage she had from Billy at Bliss Chakra Spa. I booked online for an appointment today while my husband was playing golf. One and a half hours of pure delight, deep tissue, tibetan bowl sound bath included, took me to another level of relaxation. The spa is beautiful, quiet and super clean. Billy does yoga Chakra classes with a sound bath, give it a try if you want a new experience a whole new feeling of bliss. I cannot say enough. From the moment I walked inside I felt like the outside world was a thing of the past. I was greeted, shown the different types of oils available to me and offered a delicious glass of infused water while I filled out my paperwork. I was given a deliciously plush robe and shown back to my foot bath with Brenda, who was very sweet and professional. She made me feel welcome and at home. After a very relaxing and pampering foot scrub I was shown to the massage room. I had the most exquisite Swedish massage. After, Annette lead me to the facial room where she performed a rose quartz facial. I don't think my skin has ever looked so nice. I feel fresh, rejuvenated and inspired! This place is INCREDIBLE! Billy provided a totally comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing was an amazing experience, and the Shirodhara, which we had afterward was equally wonderful. I could have stayed there for hours with the warm oils drizzling onto my forehead and the head and neck massage afterward. A stubborn headache which had been hanging on for 10 days is still greatly diminished one day after the treatment, and I'm hoping this will continue to be so. I"ll be visiting Bliss Chakra Spa again, for sure! read more

So disappointed with this business. They basically stole my money. I purchased gift certificates for two facial treatments for my mom and aunt as a gift for their birthdays in Sept of last year. The gentleman with whom I spoke was so helpful at the time, was happy to run my credit card and provide nice gift certificates to present as gifts for them. I looked at the website before purchasing and read other Yelp reviews so I thought it was a legit business. Since then, my mom, and aunt contacted them numerous times via phone and email to book appointments with no response. I even called myself and left 2 voicemails asking to book an appointment ... No response. We drove to the business just to make sure they are still open. We saw the sign but no one was there. At this point I want to call my credit card company and claim this as a fraudulent charge. I don't know what else to do but I'm am out $130. Thanks but no thanks Bliss Chakra Spa you are not an honest business if you take money from a client and do not honor the service paid for. read more
