I am visiting Palm Springs this week for some much needed R&R. I discovered Bliss through on-line reviews and I booked an apt. I was in serious need of body work/energy work. My massage was hands down one of the best I have ever had. Bill is very skilled and he is a healer. My massage concluded with shirodhara (hot oil and sound healing). I was so energized after my treatment which is unusual, usually I'm deeply relaxed and want to cozy up in bed. After this experience I was deeply relaxed and also felt energized, lighter. Amazing experience. The Heaven on Earth massage/sound bath. Even though I was staying at a resort spa in Indian Wells, I opted to come here for my relaxation time while the kids were busy. The place is zen like serene. And impeccably clean (which can be hit or miss for a massage studio in a strip mall... The owner (I forgot his name) was my massage therapist. And Bliss Chakra Spa is now on my "must visit" list when I go to the desert to decompress from LA life... I can't wait to try another experience at this spa! read more

We are vacationing in Palm Springs and were looking for a unique place to relax and unwind. We found it 100% with Bliss Chakra Spa. From the moment you walk in, you feel serenity (it smells amazing!) We were greeted with a smile and refreshing glass of water (it was 120 degrees this day!). You should note that there aren't Spa facilities such as a sauna or steam room...here they focus on giving you incredible spa treatments. And boy, do they deliver. My partner Nicole saw Shannon and raved about how excellent her massage was. Awesome level of pressure throughout the treatment and overall one of the best massages she had. I was lucky enough to work with Lise, who is not only an amazing therapist, but an incredible, genuine person. My massage was stellar...and I left my treatment feeling both physically and mentally rejuvenated. I loved her so much, I hugged her afterwards. Overall, this is the place to go if you want to treat your mind, body and soul to the spa experience that you deserve. If you're not from the area, leave extra time, it's literally a room tucked away in a building full of treatment and salon rooms-from the sounds of things, the goal is to expand, so please support this business. They use only organic, some aryuervedic fabulous products. My facial was perfect, I recieved foot and hand massages as I was "masque-ing", the shirodhana was total bliss, perfect temp and timing, and the sound bath blew my mind#! I had an amazing massage experience at Bliss Chakra Spa. The spa is beautiful with a lot of attention too detail, like essential oils being diffused and a wonderfully scented hand soap in the bathroom. And the sheets on the massage table are so soft! I couldn't have imagined a better spa experience than this. Billy is the quintessential zen master that everyone should have the pleasure of working with. I booked online where there are full detailed explanations of the different treatments. I chose the Shirodhara. What a relaxing and peaceful space that took me to. Warm oil being drizzled onto the third eye, while alternating between scalp massage and the soothing sounds of the Tibetan bowls. It was like a warm fuzzy blanket being wrapped around me. I absolutely loved this spa. I've always wanted to try a sound bath, and I was excited to see it on their menu as part of the Lotus Flower package with a massage and facial. I worked with Billy to book appointments for our group of 4 for our annual girls weekend trip, and he was so great to work with. Just got home from a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Billy. This was my first visit to the spa, and it will not be my last. Hands down, the best massage I remember getting. I have a cervical fusion that 25 years old and it can get grouchy. Billy found all those tight spots- even in places you never suspect like forearms and quads. I feel great! This is a definite oasis in the desert, had an hour massage with a avocado scalp treatment and every minute was exquisite. I would choose this experience every day over your typical resort spa treatment. My therapist stated at the beginning that my only job was to relax, and she made sure that happened. We ended up booking a 90 minute couples Swedish massage with Billy, the owner, and Gerstie, another therapist. The spa is small, very clean, with beautiful calming decor and furnishings. Afterward, my husband and I agreed we had the best massages EVER!!! From the first moment of inhaling scented oils, to experienced massage techniques that focused on healing, a hot rolled towel under your head, more hot moist towels wrapped around your ankles, the singing bowls, and wonderful music all made for a perfect experience.
