The whole pedicure was 30 minutes, hardly even groomed my cuticles, snickered in their language and didn't even have time enjoy. They started off trying to up sell and trick charge my elderly mother, who didn't even get to see the packages. When I went to pay, the expectation for a tip was soooo uncomfortable, because the man that did my mother's rushed up to check is out and when their system didn't ask me for a tip, I didn't get a chance to and he looked at us like "no tip"?. But they are soooo over booked that they don't take their time anymore :( I literally sat in my car crying that I just paid that much for what I got. This is the second location of Bliss Nails & Spa 2 located on 60th Street and W Ave L8. I am a first time customer and surely, it won't be my last! I absolutely adore the interior design with dark rustic wood throughout. They have a grand opening promotion of 10% off all services for the entire month of June. There were so many available colors to choose from regular, gel and dip nail polish. I had my manicure and pedicure done in a timely manner. The technicians both did a wonderful job cleaning and coloring my nails. I love it when technicians have light and gentle way of working with your hands or feet. I sometimes almost didn't feel someone was actually doing my nails. I am a very happy customer and I finally found my go-to nail salon when in the Antelope Valley area. Went here today to get my nails done for my wedding. I'm also a new guest to this salon (haven't gotten my nails done in so long.) I must say I really enjoyed my visit! Everyone there were so polite and attentive. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, and I also noticed that the place was exceptionally clean! I called in at about 10:52am to schedule an appointment with Amy for a full set today. Was informed she had moved out of state, I asked if there was someone else that could do a full set for me and was told to come in at 1:30pm. I arrived a little before 1:30pm and I saw several people waiting, some time went by and an Asian lady walked in after me and was seat before me. I continued to wait while reviving no update as when I would be seated being that one was around I walked out after waiting for half and hour. I'm writing this after a bit of time from my experience at this spa. Unfortunately it was not what i was hoping it would be. I went in around 3 weeks ago for a gel manicure and deluxe gel pedicure. The spa was a bit full, so I would understand having to maybe wait a bit- but they put me in a chair right away to wait and they did not even start the water for my chair until around 15 minutes after. When they started my pedicure they did not have a color that I selected listed off of their list of what to offer so I had to compromise for a different one. When the girl started to do my manicure she was very rough and cut my cuticle, right away before I could say anything she just kept saying "it's okay see it's okay" but my cuticle was clearly red with blood. Regardless sometimes it happens and I figured that since it wasn't taking away much from how my nails looked I did not mind. To continue on the pedicure she waited until after my manicure was done to even start my water so I was sitting there in the pedicure chair kind of awkwardly until she finished my hands (I don't know why maybe they wouldn't just start me at a table). Then midway through her doing my pedicure she switched with another girl. This girl was very rough with my pedicure and I definitely felt stinging but saw no blood. I figured it was just irritation from getting everything trimmed. I paid full prices for my services just for any reference and I left that day. In total I think everything was around 120. But then the next two days my toe started to become more inflamed and even started to puss around my nail. I went into the urgent care and informed them of what was going in and that I also had gotten a fresh pedicure two days prior to coming in. The nurse told me that my toenail was infected and that the cause was whoever was doing my pedicure was not careful enough and nicked me. I had to be prescribed antibiotics and my toe was in pain for a bit. I would not recommend coming here unless you want to spend money on an urgent care trip and some meds. They did not seem to care about the customers or have any pride put into their work. read more

This was my first time at Bliss. I had called to schedule an appt with Amy, since I see most people like her job. I was told she was gone for the day. My appt was at 3:30, I arrived at 3:15 because I know it closes at 5 on Sunday. I was immediately directed to one of the stations. I had acrylics, asked the tech to removed them because I wanted gel this time. It took 15 minutes for the tech to start removing them. Then, she left me at the station and went to work on another client. At 4:30 after an hour of wait, a different tech started to work on my gel manicure. This is 30 minutes time frame before they close. I felt she was rushing to finish up on time, I told her I wanted them round, and showed her a picture. But, she did them square because is less filing and faster. I read many great reviews about this place. But, I am not that happy with the waiting time and the outcome of my gel manicure. I also, did not like different techs working on me, specially when I am a booked appointment. I must say, the place is very clean, and well presented when it comes to the way it looks. read more

As soon as I walked in I LOVED it! It's so nice and it's a huge location. They took us for our pedicures immediately, that was nice. My friend had a nice lady and a good experience. MY lady was so mean. I was reading my book and every time she would tap on my leg to move it, I did. When it was time for my hot wax, which has never been "hot", it was BURNING my foot! She got pissy with me because I didn't put my foot in immediately. My friend said she gave me a nasty look while I was reading! THEN she is doing my "massage", which was just her putting lotion on my legs for 7 min, and she laid her hand on the hot wax on my foot and BURNED ME. Her hand stayed there for like 30/45 seconds. When she was done, my foot was red and had her hand print on my foot for hours! Super super disappointing cause I was looking forward to calling this location my new fave place! UPDATE: The owner messaged me and told me I had a discount with my next service and she apologized. I went today and Kenny gave me the most beautiful acrylic set! I am very pleased. Not very many good nail salons in the AV and this is another shitty one. Sadly I didn't catch the name of the nail tech who did my Full Acrylic Set. I asked for red coffin nails and received square. Some of the nails are square and some are coffin. The two thumb nails are different lengths (pictures below). Furthermore, at other nail salons acrylic sets usually last me about four weeks, it's been one week and i've already have one nails come off and the rest are lifting. It's harder to tell in picture but the ring finder is lopsided there is more product one one side than the other. When she was filing down my nail to shape it which she failed at she was extremely rough. Rough to the point I began to bleed from the file, I should've taken a picture the day it happen. She was very rushed and tough with me the entire time, it felt like she was about to rip my nail off the entire time. I couldn't relax. I did like the salon itself just be careful about the nail techs. The salon was clean and clean they cleaned all there tools. Pricing wasn't bad. imparted to other salons, $55 for full acrylic set without design. Again like i've mentioned previously I like the salon itself just be careful of who you have as your mail tech. read more
