I got a manicure and pedicure $38. The service was a total of 30 minutes. "Massage" was about 20 seconds each hand/foot. Scrub was minimal. Minimal conversation. Did not appear welcoming. Walked past 3 employees on way out and no one said bye or thank you. Would not return....not a relaxing experience. read more

Emily, my nail technician, was professional and reserved. For three years, I've shown consistent loyalty to this salon. Unfortunately, that loyalty hasn't been met with the same level of respect. Over time, Fiona's attitude toward me has noticeably cooled. During my recent visit on Tuesday, she didn't even bother to lift her head or acknowledge me properly. Instead, she flatly asked if I had an appointment--no greeting, no warmth, nothing. Let me be clear: kindness and common courtesy are non-negotiable. I've supported this business from its earliest days, and I expect to be treated with basic decency. Location and convenience can't justify dismissiveness or disrespect. Took my daughter here to get her nails done for her bday. Last time we went was great, the technician was kind and friendly and out a cute little sticker on her nails. When she got her nails done today she asked for a sticker again only to be charged an extra $5!! Just for a tiny little sticker, then they charged us an extra $1 for some quick dry that we didn't even ask for. I would have never known unless i went up to the counter and had them break everything down for me. They're sneaky and I will not be going back based on principle. The location of the salon was great with a lot of parking. Prices also very good. Not happy with the powder dip though. My nails are rough and not shiny. My thumb nail was not filed evenly. I made an appointment for two people at 11 am online. I booked the appointment the morning before. At 11:15, they still didn't take us so I inquired about the delay. They told me they would take us closer to 11:30. I advised that this was unacceptable because I had other appointments for the day and they told me to just come back another time. Again, I told them that this was inconvenient, especially since I had booked an appointment online the day before with the expectation that we would be taken on time. We also wanted our nails done in time for an event tomorrow morning and had scheduled other appointments throughout the day. They told me their online system doesn't update and that I needed to call to book appointments. What's the point of having it on the website then? To "make up" for the inconvenience, they gave us each a $5 gift card. This doesn't make up for the fact that we had to scramble to find another salon to make it in time for our other appointments for the day. Luckily, Luca Nails is a few blocks away and had availability. Unice just called me to tell me they had availability and that I could come back. I don't think I'd ever give this place another chance. I started going to this nail salon a few months back after reading reviews about how Lisa was great at gel pedicures. The first few times I had been were really good; she took her time and made sure to go slow with the drill (I told her I was scared of it). But today when I went, I told the front desk I had an 11am appointment with Lisa and they looked around like I didn't have an appointment. Then they sat me, and a woman I didn't recognize sat down and did my entire gel pedicure service. She was very rough, cutting a few of my cuticles with the drill and rushing through the whole process - I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I picked out a color (a dark purple, E39 if I remember correctly) by matching it with the dark purple on my fingernails, and she ended up putting on a similar brown color, despite me pointing to the dark purple and saying the number of the color out loud. Because of the lighting and angle I was looking at in the nail salon, it had looked purple, which is why I didn't say anything there. But when I got home and inspected further with a flashlight, it was in fact the wrong color. I'm not really sure why I was put with a different staff member than I had requested, but I am extremely dissatisfied with today's service. My toes are sore and hurt in the shower and it's not even the color I picked. Overall I really enjoy this salon; it's clean, spacious, and relaxing. As much as I want to write a nice review, the whole salon was empty and the woman I had today rushed through. She didn't do 3 coats which she should have done bc you can tell clearly it needs another one. Secondly she didn't cut my cuticles and that pisses me off. It's sad to write another one of these nail salon reviews. Was rushed all throughout my pedicure. I called in the morning to see if could get a regular pedicure with no add ons. I was taken right away but my technician rushed me throughout. Slapping on exfoliating scrub, putting lotion on legs without even drying them first, barely scrubbing away anything. It seems you have to overpay to get the full service with massage and actually taking their time. Total time from when I sat down in the chair to drying: 15 minutes. Will not return. read more

First time and last time. I went in for a gel fill. My nails are my own and are long. The girl who did my nails made them extremely thin. Barely used any gel on my nails for the fill. Two hour after leaving, two nails cracked and eventually broke. I went back in and asked for a refund. They said they would only fix the two nails broke. Attitude and nasty. No choice but to get the two fixed. Would not let them touch the rest if my nails. I have to pay my regular place to fix the rest of my nails bc of their awful service. I tried Unice Friday afternoon since my usual salon was booked. I got the regular pedicure for $28 and added a callous treatment for $10. I was very happy with both and I will go back. Everyone seemed very friendly. The process was smooth and efficient. The big chairs were nice and comfortable. And my pedicure looks great. I agree with others that the large room is a little sterile right now but I expect they will give it more ambiance as they settle into this space. While they had a large selection of polishes, I hope they add the Essie gel couture polishes. A young woman had gotten a manicure and was over the moon with how good her nails looked. read more

Great high quality nail salon that has been much needed in the area! Since moving up to westchester from the city I'd been hunting for a great nail salon with a nice ambience, great quality and service. Finally after going to a dozen places across lower westchester the hunt is over thanks to Unice Nail & Spa. The salon is spacious with all new furnishings of course (although we're no longer in the height of a pandemic it's nice to have space between us). I've been here twice and both times the people were lovely all around (Sorry I don't remember the name of the first technician though Jenny the second time was wonderful) and the services were excellent (regular mani + lavender/green tea pedi). The service was quick and good. The pedicurist was amazing. The manicurist I had was mediocre. The manicurist didn't really work to clean up my cuticles and very little lotion on my hands when done. Then the gratuitous neck massage at the end while manicure was drying was a waste of time... like why even? And I saw another manicurist doing a way better job... I think I just got a dud manicurist. DO NOT LET BETTY (or "BT" as it's says on their website) DO YOUR NAILS!! She was rushing so much that she was shaking with how fast she was going. It was like watching her in 2x speed. It was so rushed and sloppy. I'm never the type to complain when getting my nails done, but she only cut two of my cuticles and when I asked her to do the rest, she got upset. She was only putting the polish on half of each nail, leaving so much of the nail exposed without polish because she was rushing so fast. And then when finished I didn't even know I was done, she walked away and as she was walking to the back she screamed at me "ITS FINISHED" and then ran into the back room. I was looking for a new place for a pedicure. Read reviews and went today. Place is large and staff welcoming. Betty did my spa pedicure (20 minutes massage) and it was great. I also opted for a 10 minute chair massage and she went above and beyond. I have a lot of tension in my neck and she was superb. They have a great loyalty program; 1 point for every $1, if you pay cash 2 points. I will definitely be back even though it's a 15 minute ride for me, it's definitely worth it.
