We've taken our pup, Daisy, to Bliss several times. While the staff seems friendly and generally happy to have our fur baby with them, and the facility smells and looks clean- there has not been an instance where Daisy's stay did not end up with a vet visit within days of coming home. Just this week, Daisy spent 2 individual play days at Bliss. The first day we picked her up, she seemed tired but happy to see us. Being tired isn't abnormal for her after day care visits so we didn't think anything of it. The next day she went back and when we picked her up, she slept all night and didn't really eat dinner. Again we thought nothing of it, happy that she was having enough fun to completely tucker her out. The very next morning (today), she woke up lethargic, refusing to eat, and overall looks miserable. I can only guess what the vet is going to say she has when we take her later today. In our experience with Bliss, Daisy has contracted an upper respiratory infection and an ear infection in two different stays. The former resulting in them refusing to board her for a weekend because she was sick, despite the fact that she got sick there just the day before. Bliss claims that they don't board sick dogs, period, and yet my dog ends up sick almost every time she visits. I am not someone who leaves reviews of any kind for a business, but this this the third time my dog has been sick after visiting Bliss, and I am beginning to feel as though something more is going on. We wont be going back to Bliss- they may not care enough about our dog to ensure she stays healthy and well, but we do. Use caution when visiting this pet "resort". read more

My dogs have attended daycare twice now. It was funny how trusting they were even the first time. They must have known they were there to play. Both dogs come home tired and content. It gives me the night off from having to play Frisbee! I will definitely be back on a regular basis and also try the grooming! read more

Bliss Pet Resort and Spa is amazing! Our dog, Charlie has the best time when she stays there. As a 1 year old golden retriever she needs a lot of play time and love from humans. I boarded my 100 pound baby at Bliss while on a 5 night vacation in Mexico. When you board your pet you have the ability to watch them play all day on the web cam which I thought was awesome! In addition the owner took me on a tour showing me exactly where my dog would be staying at night and during nap time. I was able to bring my dogs bed so he felt more comfortable and was able to bring his bone that stayed in his stall with him while he was on there. The facility is very clean and has been constructed with large and small dog play areas plus a backyard to roam freely in! Since I was in Mexico if wasn't able to watch my pooch play myself but a friend had the webcam pulled up at work and said they were out playing by 7am when she gets to work! I highly HIGHLY recommend using Bliss Pet Resort for boarding and/or doggy daycare. Everyone there is welcoming and reassuring that your pet will be in good hands. When I picked my dog up he was extremely happy and slept for about 2 days straight from all of the playing he did with the other dogs. I've already booked another reservation for my next upcoming trip and wouldn't even consider using a different business for my boarding needs!!!! read more

Excellent grooming and pet sitting services! My golden retrievers love the crew! The groomers do an excellent job of trimming and bathing.

This place has a wonderful staff who seem to really love dogs, but the front desk overcharges customers on everything. I took my dog there for a stay and was charged two 1/2 day fees, and for a bath that should have been free. What a rip off. read more

Don't let the value fool you, this is a top notch facility. We had our girl Jesse stay with them last summer for a week while the family was on vacation and upon our return we found Jesse to be happy as could be. The place is clean, they give each dog one on one attention, and the price is great as well. We plan to have Jesse stay there again this summer. read more

I am totally hooked on Bliss Pet Resort. My dog and I are always greeted with a smiling face from their incredibly friendly staff. I have been taking my dog there for 2 years and he absolutely loves it! He gets so excited running to the door to get in so he can go play with the other dogs. The staff is always so helpful and kind and truly care about all the animals. I feel so comfortable knowing my dog is in good hands whether we board him there while we are gone or just bring him there for daycare to play or be groomed. Wonderful groomers and i couldn't ask for a better place to board my furry kids when I'm away for a weekend! They truly care!!

All that I can say, is that I am VERY happy about the way my baby looked when I got him back from his grooming. He was totally matted when I carried him in and looked amazing when we walked out. I have taken him places before and his hair was cut all different lengths all over his body. Everyone there is very nice, on the phone and in person. My dog is a Pit mix and a very sweet girl. However, many other boarding facilities would not even evaluate her because she is a "bully breed". That is unfair discrimination, but I so appreciate Bliss judging each dog fairly. My baby girl is very high energy, and I like the fact that they are able to match her with appropriate playmates. She has been there for boarding and daycare several times, and she is always so excited when we pull into the parking lot. In fact, she doesn't give me a second look when I leave, and she doesn't seem to want to come with me when I pick her up. I guess we are not as fun as the Bliss staff! We love the webcams too, and we couldn't be happier! read more

We have an Aussie and he needs room to get outside. They have great yards for those dogs who like to be with friends. They are also good at grouping the dogs with those who are of similar size or activity level. We like that when you board, your dog gets to participate in free daycare. Not extra charges for outside activity like some boarders. The staff is alway attentive and friendly. read more

Our two Shih Tzu's have been going to Bliss Pet Resort for grooming for at least 3 years. I would never consider taking them to any other place. When you find the Best, stay with it!! The entire staff is great, and when you first walk in the door, you sense the "love" that Bliss Pet Resort has for their "furry" customers.. They were recommended to us this past summer and we used them while on vacation. We had a Grand Suite. Since we could see our girl all the time on camera, we did notice her in the suite more than we thought she would be, which was a bit disappointing. We even called while on our vacation once because my daughters were constantly looking at our dog on their phone and were unhappy that she wasn't getting to play outside more. The person on the phone actually lied to us and said our dog was outside right as we were speaking when we could see her in her suite through the webcam! When we picked her up, we were told our dog managed to jump the fence into the next yard, but that it was okay as it was one of the facilities other yards, so she didn't really get out. That made me worry, but she was fine, so I let it go. Fast forward to this month. We usually do not travel during the holidays, but were asked to visit family this year, so travel during the Christmas break is new to us. I called other places and everything was full, so I made a reservation here again, but it wasn't ideal, since they only had an opening for a day later than we wanted to leave town, but we were going to make it work. A week later, I found a friend who offered to watch our girl and we would be able to leave the day we really wanted, so I called Bliss, as well as emailed, to cancel the reservation. I was told that my deposit was not refundable and that it said so on my confirmation. Only problem, I did not get a confirmation email with any policies when I made the reservation. I only received a receipt. Additionally, their policy on their website says fully refundable within 7 days of reservation. This is stated under their Boarding FAQ. I sent the screenshot back to them, but have received no response. I assume they consider the issue closed. I understand cancellation policies, but our reservation was still 2 weeks away. I guess it is a good thing I canceled when I did. Nicole's email saying our deposit was not refundable also said I would have had to pay 100% of the reservation once I was at 2 weeks out, so I barely made the 2 week deadline. The message seemed to be that I should grateful I only lost $65 and not owed them over $400. This policy is also not stated on their website. I am not impressed with their policies and I didn't like being lied to about my dog being outside the first time we boarded here. I believe there are many other options for boarding in the area and will not recommend this business to my friends. read more
