In the year that I have been going there this place has become progressively more chaotic, disorganized and dirty. I have always scheduled my next appointment when I am paying for th current one. They don't remember me or my dog, can't find appointment and can't find card. The last time I went in after finally finding my appointment said they didn't have enough time to get her done so they could only bathe or I would need to rescheckle. Then someone else came out and admitted they didn't book the appointment I always requested but would take care of her. After 3 hours of not hearing anything I drove down to pick her up. when I asked why the didn't call she said they were finishing her up even though I heard her barking from a cage in the next room. They didn't do any trimming only bathe her which is not what I booked 8 weeks ago and not what they agreed to do. Her excuse was, well it's the holidays, nice way to saw we don't care. Alexis is not only a great dog groomer, she spotted a change in the under eye hair of our pups' right eye and advised us of this. He has recently had dental surgery and the hair at that point was gone from an infection in his upper gums. She is very observant about the whole animal! How many groomers would have noticed? She did. We are very lucky she is not only a talented groomer, but knows her customers well enough to notice a subtle change like that. I took my Pomeranian recently for a bath and cut. I showed them two pictures and explain that I did not want him looking like a teddy bear with long hair on the head and short body. I told them that I wanted him to still look fluffy essentially about 2 1/2 to 3 inches cut off. when I picked him up, his hair was cut all the way down to his undercoat and it was way shorter than what I showed them. Their explanation was a mat that they had to cut all the way down. I thought it was ridiculous. They couldn't brush out one tangle. My dog gets a bath from me and a brushing every two weeks so I know he was not tangled to where they could not brush it out. He looks ridiculous for a Pomeranian. I will never take him there again. And they charge me $65 for a cut that I did not ask for. read more

One star is generous. We take our mini Bernadoodle to Yvonne's in Prescott. I mistakenly called Yvonne's in Prescott Valley which clearly is not the same owners. My husband dropped our boy off and he said the vibe was very different and the environment wasn't friendly like what we are used to at Yvonne's in Prescott. $120 later my husband picked up our traumatized puppy. We knew he had some mats in his hair but they completely hacked him. Didn't even leave his doodlestache. He had blood on one of his feet and a few spots that bled where he had been nicked. My fiance, who is new to this community, decided to try Yvonne's pet grooming in Prescott valley, because of the good reviews and the longevity of this business. His little dog, had an 11:00 a.m. appointment and he was told his dog would be picked up in approximately an hour and a half. At 1:30 p.m. there had still been no word from this pet grooming service, so we called. Discovered that his dog had still not been groomed, at this point he had been sitting there waiting for nearly 3 hours! This is simply unacceptable! When you have an appointment for a haircut, you don't expect to wait two and a half hours to have the haircut after you've arrived, do you? This place felt more like the dogs were being held there like cattle, and due to this significant delay in the service being completed, he will not be returning. My fiance did complain, Yvonnes did finish the grooming, after he threatened to come to pick up his little dog without anything further being done, due to the delay. They did eventually do a good job, but we will not be returning! read more

I've taken both my fur babies to this place for almost 2 years. The last few times, my Yorkie comes home very thirsty and rubbing against the walls, furniture, etc... and very itchy. This last time, my Morky came home very lathorgic and depressed, sleepy and also itchy and with razor burn. I bathed both of them again, and it helped a little. The Morkys haircut was good, but I'm now looking for somewhere that they will be more gentle with them. read more

After reading the reviews and tossing out the 3 star because it takes a long time to groom pets and delays happen we decided to book an appointment. We couldn't be more thrilled on the results. Did a good job bathing and grooming my golden retriever. He needed a good bath and brush. They also listened and trimmed his hair where we asked. He came home soft and fluffy and happy. One star is more than Yvonne's deserves. I have been taking my dog here for over 10 years but will never be going back. The current staff is incompetent, rude and unprofessional. I have a female silky terrier who is always very happy and playful but after picking her up she timid and stressed. The staff calls her "him" each time and even when corrected. You would think a dog groomer would be able to distinguish between a male and female. I have gone in to pick my dog up and gave her name. Staff returned with a shih tzu. Knowledge of different dog breeds should be a requirement when working with dogs. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

They have raised their rates over $20.00 per grooming, I would not suggest going their, way over priced for the services they provide. A Lab for a simple bath was $48.00 really it was $30.00 just last month. I would not recommend going their. Their are better places in they Valley and more reasonable and this business has 2 stores, their excuse was COVID19 however I brought my dog in during COVID19, they were all just fine. But at far as haircuts we looked for professionals and we found them! They were always willing to take our business even on same day calls (which is probably just luck but still awesome). They do an amazing job and the dogs never seem scared to go in. I trust them with my dogs safety and style. Gail did a great job on our little dogs hair, it was pretty gnarly near his eyes. Had an appointment for 1pm for full grooming with anti-shedding treatment for my parents dog and the lady said to come back in an hour or so, came back and was told that the pet was not going to be ready for a few more hours and that they would call when it was time to pick up. They finally called around almost 5, and when I got the dog in the car she had shed all over the seat of my car, after requesting anti-shedding treatment. This is not the first time this has happened. Why make an appointment if the grooming will take almost 4 hours? And to have the dog visibly shedding at pick up was unfortunate. read more

Very disappointing groomer. My first two visits were acceptable and my dog did not seem upset when he got home. Third time was not a charm. I like to make appointments early as possible in the day to avoid my dog staying a long time. After 4 and a half hours, I drove there to check on him. He still wasn't done. We went to lunch and after lunch they finally called and said he was done. When we got home, my dog kept itching his ears. We coincidentally had a vet appointment for his annual shots a few days later. They looked in his ears. He had a yeast infection. I think it was from him keeping him wet for so long. He has never had an ear infection before. We will not be back. read more

I took my toy poodle in for a cut and was shocked when I picked her up to find that they had completely shaved her! Her ears, her tail, everything! The groomer said she was too matted and her hair had to be shaved. This was totally untrue as I brush her every day. She had been to other groomers in the past who never expressed a concern about matting. The groomer was complaining about all the dogs, saying they were all horrible acting that day. I will NEVER take my dog back to Yvonne's again. To not call me and tell me they were going to completely shave my dog was unacceptable. I've been taking my golden retrievers to these guys for many years. Just this past week I was told that their prices went up, ok I get that. After we had that discussion I was getting ready to pay in advance and the lady told me that she would have to charge me extra because my dog (8yrs old) is "difficult"! He's the most gentlest, laid back dog you'll ever meet! I was shocked that this was said. This has NEVER been told to me before and your just telling me this NOW, and she said it was discussed w/ me in the past~ NO IT WASN'T, so now their liars too? I felt they were just trying to get more money out of me. Also, they take over 4 hours to groom them which I feel is ridiculous! They call me at 2pm (5hrs later) and they are still there, she again tells me shes gonna have to charge me MORE MONEY because he's a lot "of work"! ITS YOUR JOB!!!!! They have turned into dishonest people there and I will never take my dogs there again. I can just imagine how their treating my babies! VERY POOR SERVICE. Can you give a 1/2 star?
