i was excited to see there was a new cafe in my area, so i stopped by after blowing my money at trader joe's. i was in desperate need of a little pick me up. it's a cute spacious spot with a couple seating inside and more outside. i got the lvtm, which is just a lighter version of their original vietnamese coffee. according to staff, its half the caffeine and sweetness with no condensed milk. i got it wjth nonfat milk, usually comes with whole. even though it's supposed be light, i thought that it was plenty sweet and still pretty strong. can't imagine how much stronger the original is haha. i think prices are slightlyyy steeper compared to other spots, but honestly, what isn't expensive these days. i'll probably come back in the future! read more

Came here a while back since close to where I am, I ordered the Brekkie Bowl and it was so good. I also got the strawberry matcha drink and it was pretty well mixed, considering I usually go for strawberry only drinks. I would for sure get it again. Came for the first time. It was mid afternoon and they weren't busy. Seating is limited inside, but they have outdoor seating as well. Quite impressed with the food for a little coffee shop. Food was the right portion and temperature. Coffee was exceptional. Place was very clean and music wasn't blasting. Food is served in cute eco-friendly containers. The Staff on the other hand could be more welcoming. No one greets customers. No one makes eye contact. Could've given at least 4 stars, but food and service go hand in hand. Tried this coffee place for the first time and I would definitely recommend their Iced VTMatcha - it's a well balanced flavor of matcha and strong Vietnamese coffee. I usually enjoy coming here, but I was a bit disappointed with my recent visit. The barista seemed a bit unfriendly and didn't smile or acknowledge me, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. Disappointed in our experience at this location. The customer service is not up to par with their other locations such as the Google Plex location. We've been here a few times since they opened and have given them the benefit of the doubt being a new location but today was not ideal. Ordered three drinks and a CAB bagel sandwich to share. We wanted an open face bagel with the cream cheese and avocado on both sides. Cashier told us that they typically don't do that but if we wanted it, we would have to pay for the additional toppings, which we happily agreed to for an open bagel and extra avocado. We received our three drinks but were waiting almost 20 minutes for the bagel. Went up to the pick up counter and asked if the barista could check on our food order. She went to the back without asking for our name, yells from the kitchen to ask, says there are two orders with that name, and then asks what we ordered. We answered and then she finds our order on the counter which seemed to have been sitting there for some time. The barista opened the container to look at what's inside, walks over and says "for further reference, we don't do open face bagels." Below convo occurred while she still had the food in her hand. Us: Okay, we were told we could when we paid Barista: But we don't do them. It's against our policy and you have to pay extra for the toppings. Us: We did pay for it Barista: No, you paid the same price and got an open faced bagel Us: *pulls out our receipt and shows barista* we WERE charged extra. We were charged for almost the price of two bagels. Barista: Okay but I'm telling you we don't do it. It's against our policy Us: Then why were we charged extra and told we would get it. Barista: I'm just saying you can't do it *see attached receipt for reference of what we paid for Note that the food was still good. However, the way we were treated and accused of fault and accused of not paying was not a way to treat customers. We had no problem with paying extra and did not complain to her about the wait time or cold/soggy bagel. What would have been better was if she brought over the food, handed it to us, and then chatted with the cashier after we left about not allowing customers to do that in the future. If they had told us when we paid that they couldn't do it, it would have been fine. We would have just paid for two bagels. Instead, the totality of the treatment led to a poor review and disappointed customers. read more

Their avocado toast was great, well seasoned and their hot honey avocado toast was pretty good too. The bread was toasted, crunchy and not soggy sandwich bread like some places use. Their homemade sausage for their brekkie bowls are delicious. They recently changed it to patties, it used to be crumbled sausage, which was a bit of a disappointment and not as good. While I understand that café prices have risen recently, the amount of ice they provide here is becoming excessive. Each time I order, I specifically request light ice, yet my drinks are consistently served with the cup filled to the brim. Recently, they even altered the system so that drinks are no longer fully filled when light ice is requested. But doesn't that essentially mean you're receiving less drink for the same price? To avoid my drink becoming diluted, I tried removing some of the ice at home, and to my surprise, the cup was only one-third full of the matcha beverage--meaning the rest of the space was occupied by ice. But when it takes you 40 minutes!!!!! to make three coffees and ONE avocado toast (out of the 2 that we asked for and you confirmed when you read back our order ) when your coffee shop is completely empty is crazy. On top of that, you read back the order confirming everything and then when we don't get our order right you say that you didn't place it correctly and made us wait 40 minutes to only get half of what we asked for.
