My drink was entirely ice (I completely get the concept I melt down my iced tea) but this felt excessive I questioned the girl at the counter who wanted to stand there and argue like I was stupid and didn't understand the concept. We love the coffee at BLKDot because it is so delicious, strong and well made. We usually visit other locations, but this location is next to the Costco we shop at so we stop by every once in a while. That's enough to know that the attitude of the cashiers at this particular location is trash. The first time we came my mother (whom is vegan) asked which coffee's could be made vegan. The woman taking our order responded with "black coffee". So we took a little extra time to order to figure out which coffee's were actually vegan, with no assistance from the cashier. The second time the cashier was also rude and not friendly at all. Ordering was uncomfortable due to the unfriendliness, almost like he hated his job and didn't want to assist us. We will probably be back because we love the coffee and it's nice to have to shop at Costco, but management needs to be aware of the poor attitude of their cashiers. read more

I really tried to like my coffee but it wasn't it. I got the original Vietnamese and sea salt cold brew and i wish i ordered something else. The Vietnamese was 90% ice and way too strong and sweet! i'll probably get the light version next time. I did like the cold brew better it tasted orange-infused. It looks very bare inside but clean. I did notice that area gets alot of flies. I was curious to try this place since I had also seen it in Long Beach. First of all, they ran out of the pumpkin flavor. The coffee tasted good at first but found it to be very acidic. For the chai they used the Tazo brand for flavor so not very original. Coffee, service, and food is up to standard. My only thing is the digital restroom lock not working and that the store gets uncomfortable after 4pm since the sun is blasting it's way inside. Coffee is great. However, they fill the cup full of ice and you don't get much coffee. I asked the cashier to put light ice and the lady said they put so much ice because it balances out the concentrate (bs). I explained to her that filling the cup with ice takes away from the actual coffee product and she had the nerve to charge me for an 'extra pour'. These are not cheap coffees, so I would like to actually drink a coffee, not ice. I also like supporting small businesses which is why I choose to support blk dot.
