Our Fabricated Fireplace was due for its 10 yr cleaning and Don was awesome. He was quick, efficient and professional. Everything was cleaned out and cleaned up, vacuumed everything up and when we asked if he could also check the laundry dryer he made sure his first job was completely finished before starting upstairs on our laundry dryer which was full of lint and he did a fine job of cleaning out the vent duct and our dryer as well. I highly recommend Blodgett's Cleaning Service. We were looking to have our fireplace inspected and cleaned as it had not been used in several years. When I called I was given an appt within a week and although they are closed on the weekends they have a technician who works on the weekends, which is very convenient for our busy schedules. I got 3 different quotes for dryer vent cleaning service from this company and two others, the other quoted $120 plus a $75 dollar extra fee if they needed to go on the roof to clean the dryer vent. This company came through; went on the roof and cleaned out about 3 softball size lint clumps! I spoke with Debbie and was pleasantly surprised that she was able to revise their work schedule to accommodate a same day appointment. I have an in wall custom gas fireplace that would ignite but not light. Jeff was the service tech and showed up with an assistant who were both wearing booties without my insistence. Those extra little touches were so appreciated. They laid down protective coverings and began asking me questions to assist in the diagnoses of the problem. They began troubleshooting from the manual and dismantling. After about 40 minutes or so I successfully had flames!!! We were so thrilled that it didn't require any parts or subsequent follow ups.
